MB Bride does have a decent selection of gowns, and their staff will treat you like gold while you are selecting and/or ordering. However, if you have even the slightest problem (and you will because their staff is particularly incompetent) you are out of luck. I had problems with both my bridal gown and my bridesmaid dresses.
First, I ended up getting into a heated argument with management in order to get them to order me a new bridal gown because the first one came in assembled improperly. I was so upset, but the staff kept saying that I was putting too much emphasis on the dress (Ummm, yeah! It's my WEDDING DRESS!) They also kept saying, "Just give us permission to work on the dress, and we're almost positive we can fix it." Finally, my mom said, "Why do you keep asking us for permission?" Turns out that once you give them "permission" to begin altering a dress, it's yours no matter what. My mom flipped when this finally came out and insisted that they order me a brand new dress, which they did, but not very happily.
Additionally, they screwed up the swatches for my bridesmaid dresses and the dresses came in the wrong color! This was approximately six weeks before my wedding. They openly admitted that it was a problem on their end, but only after I was able to provide undeniable proof with their hand writing. I begged them to send them back and to get new dresses in the color that I ordered, but they refused saying that they could not guarantee that they would be in in time for the wedding. I called the designing company of the dress, and a customer service representative assured me that they most certainly could get me new dresses in time. When I relayed this information to MB Bride, management was appalled and told me that whomever I had spoken with would be losing her job. Apparently, customer service is not to speak to (get this) customers! Whatever happened to at least putting on the guise that you are trying to help your customer?
Regardless, I was stuck with the wrong color dresses that didn't match anything else that I'd purchased throughout the 16 months leading up to my wedding. To make matters worse, I overhead Jennifer, one of their managers, mocking a customer who had complained on the phone while I was waiting to pick up the girls dresses. I'm sure we all know that catty women talk about people behind their backs, but the key is that it's done behind closed doors. You do not do so within earshot of a paying customer. Terribly unprofessional. Management, get a hold of your staff before they run you into the ground.
I have several friends who have recently gotten engaged, and not one of them will even entertain the thought of patronizing MB Bride because of what they've witnessed. What was supposed to be an exciting time became more angst-filled than not because of this store. Such a shame.

We purchased my daughters prom gown from MB Bridal in Greensburg and her prom was this past Friday. She looked like a princess and was so happy with her dream prom gown. Thanks so much MB Bridal. We will be back for future proms, weddings, and special occasions. We have two more daughters to graduate.Kristen Kostandinu and Samantha Baker Laurel Highlands High School Prom 2009

I just got married and got my gown and 7 maids here plus the mothers got their dresses at MB. The staff was great, alterations on all the gowns were excellent, and everything went smoothly. I got to meet the owner and talk with her. Hard to believe this is family owned compared to all the other independent bridal stores out there -- they are way more professional. Very nice people and an unbeatable selection. Highly recommend.

I have been at MB Bride several times and found there service fabulous and attentive. The store had by far the best selection of dresses. The staff helped me to find what I was looking for, which is truly a blessing because of the extensive inventory they have. I felt at all times very welcome and was given first class service. I highly recommend a visit!

My experience with MB Bride: My sister got married and my 2 daughters and son were in the wedding. Went in for 2 fittings, and paid in full a month before the wedding. Went in to pick up dresses and tux 2 days before the wedding, this is when they called to say they were ready. Needles to say, when we went to pick up the dresses she said how would you like to pay the balance for your dresses and tux, I told her I paid a month ago in cash, she said there was no record of that, I then showed my reciept, she said she didn't know what happened to my payment, I said I didn't know either, but had my reciept. Then we paid extra for alterations and nothing fit, ended up pinning my sons pants up, It was horrible, we got no apologies, or no money refunded for the terrible alteration job. I have 3 children with future weddings and all I can say is we won't be coming here.

Terrible service, rude staff, overpriced. Stay far far FAR away from this store. Management is even ruder than staff. Spoke to me in an unacceptable manner. Never called when my dresses came in, although they promised they would. I also wanted to purchase shoes there & found ones i liked. I asked if they had the ones i liked in stock & they said they did. I was so excited, and then when they rung them up, i opened box & it was the dirty floor pair with feet imprints on them that everyone tried on. Disgusting! She didn't seem to think anything was wrong with that either and gave me attitude, like i was the one being unreasonable!

This bridal store is the poorest managed store I have ever been in. Buying the dresses was great- after they get your money, they lose interest in you.... I ordered 9 dresses from this store (approx $2000 worth). I was never called when they came in. Then when I finally realized they were in & went to pick them up- I was told I (bride) wasn't allowed to pick up the dresses because I had put them in my maids' name, even though I PAID FOR THEM. They said "well they are, THEIR dresses." I wondered why they asked me for all their names when I bought them, but I just assumed it was for sizing purposes. My bridesmaids lived all across the country which is why they weren't there in the first place. The dresses I finally received were wrinkled so badly, it was embarrassing to give them to my friends after they spent so much money on them.
They do "complimentary" shipping for a price. The ones I needed shipped were promised to go via UPS the next day so I alerted all my girls to be on the "lookout." After 2 weeks and no dresses, I called. They informed me the dresses were NEVER SHIPPED. So, I asked for a manager and was left on hold for 20 minutes to only be hung up on before I could speak with one.
PLEASE DONT GO HERE! RUDE, UNRELIABLE, & NOT WORTH IT

We purchased a bridal gown and 6 BM dresses there. There were a pair of Tacori earrings in the case from the 1st day we walked in the store (10 months ago) ticketed $75.00. My daughter decided she wanted them when I went to pay for them they told me the price went up to $119.00. I said the price may have gone up but these earrings are ticketed 75.00. They would not sell them to me for the ticketed price. The manager on duty got very rude. I found the same earrings in a jewelry store for 75.00. It makes me wonder if they change the price on everything the same way. How much did we overpay for everything else purchased there. And why do they insist on ordering the dresses so BIG! Go somewhere else for your dress.

I ordered my wedding dress, BM dresses, and guys tuxes through MB Bride. First off it too 5 months for my dress to come in, and they never called me to tell me it or my BM dresses were in I had to call them! Then I go for my dress fitting a month before the wedding to find out they had ordered me the wrong dress! I was livid and yelling. The manager said, this is the dress on the order, (mind you they do it all by numbers so you don't know if it is correct or not) but the girl I had worked with who placed the order came up and said that was not the dress I had ordered. The manager didn't seem like she had time to deal with my very BIG issue, and the seamstress was more caring then the manager! They ended up getting me a dress that was a size too big and I had to have it altered down. When I went for my final fitting I had tons of beads missing, and I had to wait to have the seamstress sew new ones back on. One of my BM had fitting issues, and another had problems with alterations. My guys tuxes came in with parts that didn't fit. My father-in-law's shirt didn't fit and he was told they may not be able to get him one in time! They are very slow at answering calls and when I called about all my issues neither the owner or any other person working there would call me back! DO NOT GO TO MB BRIDE!!

I went to MB Bride and loved the selection, variety of styles and the customer service. We had our own room and were able to pick and try on a variety of dresses and designers. We didn't feel rushed at all! We even went back later in the day so that my sister could try on bridesmaid dresses. I'd recommend MB Bride to anyone for bridal, prom, or any special occasion!

I bought my wedding dress, shoes, veil, four bridesmaids dresses, shoes, jewelery...everything at MB Bride. A delightful day, but it stopped there.
I was never called when my dress arrived. My bridesmaids made an appointment for a fitting; when they arrived they were told no one ever called for an appointment and were told to reschedule. Very poorly organized! Beautiful dresses but it ends there! Try a smaller boutique with better customer servie--you only get married once and planning a wedding is stressful enough!

I have been purchasing dresses here since the high school prom. I had no problems with my prom dresses. But then come wedding time a different story! I live out of the state and went into the shop to look for dresses. The staff was very helpful when they wanted my business. I purchased a gown through them and since that date the service has been terrible.
I called MBBride to get my estimated ship date for my gown and they left me on hold for 20 minutes. Once they picked up the line they realized that that had forgotten about me. They put me on hold for another 5 minutes and then gave me my ship date.
I went into the store to buy my veil and had lots of pressure to purchase a tiara or something to that effect. I told the sales woman that I find headpieces/crowns/tiaras rather tacky and would not be wearing one. She insisted on shoving unwanted items into my scalp. Eventually I decided on a veil and purchased it that day. They told me they would order it on Monday and I was to call on Tuesday to get the ship date. I called on Tuesday to get the ship date and spoke to a sales girl and she informed me an manager would have to call back with the date in the afternoon. She was going to call me around 2 pm. I never heard back. I called on Wednesday to get my ship date and they never ordered my veil and the girl who orders them won't be in until Thursday. So we will see what happens on Thursday.
My girlfriend also purchased her wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses with MBBride and has had major problems as well. Her dress was new in the store when she purchased it originally. They told her that they were the only store in the Pittsburgh region to have that dress. We found that to be false when the brides cousin purchased the same dress from a different store in Pittsburgh. Six months after she ordered her dress was decreased in price by hundreds of dollars which is fine because that does happen. But we aware MBBride practices this tactic. They also never informed her that her bridesmaid dresses had arrived in the store. The only way we found out they were in was while I was in the looking for wedding gowns I asked if they were in. They were and I tried mine on in the store. I told the sales lady who helped both of us that she had not received a call that they were in. A month later the bride decided to call and a lady told her that they had just arrived in the day before and they were going to call her. The bride confronted that lady that she knew that information was false sue to the fact that I had already tried the dress on. The sales lady gave her attitude and virtually hung up on her.
Overall the have a good selection but customer service is extremely poor. I have even heard bad things about their alterations but will not even get into that. Be careful if you order from them.

This store has just expanded into its new location that is listed above and is absolutely phenomenal.
The staff is so sweet and helpful.
They make sure to assist you ever step along the way,
with as many fittings and all the guiding you need.
The fashions were very beautiful and the prices were perfect.
The staff helped make our event a most pleasant experience and I recommend them to all.
