This venue is literally like going to a show in someone's cynderblock garage. But there's a real PA, a little stage, and people show up who are genuinely into new underground music.

I played a show there and it was great. I recommend

Pros: The bands, tiny venue which adds to the experience

Cons: Tiny venue

It took me an hour to find this place because it's in such a random place. The atmosphere is amazing, and they've had some sick bands play. The only issue I had, which was a huge issue, is that moshing was not allowed. Understandable I

Kilby Court is a very small music venue for lesser-known bands, and a lot of the bands that have played here have gone on to be huge. The Shins have played here. It has a courtyard and a tiny (like the size of a garage) area where the band plays. It gets very, very hot and sweaty in the garage. You can take pictures here and they sell water and candy in the courtyard. It's always inexpensive (like $10 or less), and I think most of the money goes to the band. The reason I love this place is that it is very easy to meet the band after the show and the shows are very intimate. It's my favorite venue.
