At my job, we order from Angelo's as often as we can. If we're working late and want a special treat, if it's someone's birthday, if it's especially cold out. We had one day where we ordered Angelo's twice! Their crust is thin, but substantial. The sauce is thick, fresh and tangy and all of their toppings are also fresh cut. You will not find a canned mushroom on an Angelo's pizza. They also make a great vegetable pizza with no cheese for the lactose-intolerant among us. Their salads are also delicious. The house dressing is light and flavorful.
Angelo's is my absolute favorite pizza.

We were visiting New York for the first time and after visiting Central Park for the day stopped a local to inquire about a good pizza and pasta place and were fortunate to be referred to Angelo's. The aroma will knock you over when you enter the establishment, fresh basil and garlic blended in their wonderful sauces. We had never had a better pizza. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone in the New York city area.

Pizza served on a pedestal as it should be. The pizza is out of this world. Nice thin crisp crust baked to perfection in the coal oven. The cheese melted in your mouth. I have tried many pizza places in NYC but this by far takes the cake.

This is, by far, the BEST pizza place in the world! The pizzas are baked in a coal oven giving the crust a nice crisp edge. The sauce is a little sweet, but still maintains it's tomato edge. The mozerella they use is always fresh, and they top the pies off with fresh basil leaves that are scrumptious. A large pizza costs around $14.00. I have litterally driven over 60 miles (out of my way) to go into Manhattan just for this pizza. If you are a lover of pizza, do NOT pass by this OUTSTANDING establishment. (Be warned: the service is not great, but the food MORE than compensates!)

PROS: PIZZA EXCELLENCE!!!
CONS:
