Toomer Drugstore

I went to Toomers a few times as a student, but try to go there as an alum whenever I can. Their lemonade is famous, so you should probably get one. I'd recommend getting one to walk around town with.

When I go there, I get the turkey or grilled cheese.

Try the root beer or an ice cream while eating there.

Everything is expensive, but go for the food and not the merchandise.

Toomer's is definitely an Auburn landmark. It was one of the first places my fiance took me when I first visited him in Auburn.

The lemonade is great, especially after a football game. The food is delicious as well, so make sure to try that out.

Toomer's is the Auburn landmark. Known for their famous (and delicious!) lemonade, Toomer's also sells Auburn t-shirts and deli sandwiches at lunch time.

We were downtown Auburn and I needed some over the counter medicine. We stopped at Toomer's "DRUGSTORE". Well I quickly realized that this was not a "real" drugstore. They had a couple of shelves of medicine. They have more auburn items than they did of medicine. They also seem to run an old fashioned soda fountain which was quaint but not quite what we were looking for. On a positive note, if you have never been to Toomer's Corner after Auburn wins a football game it is quite a site and you should drive through one day just to see it.
