The Pavillion is a great hospital. They only take care of child birth, kids, and newborns. The Pavillion feels very clean and is light and airy. They offer free valet parking. I was stuck in the OB floor for three weeks with pregnancy complications and they couldn't have been nicer. The nurses were great. Someone came twice a day to see what I wanted for my meals and I was able to special order most anything. A few times a harpist came and gave me a special concert in my room. I even got my first massage from a massage student. My daughter had to be in the NICU for two weeks. It was a great place. Each baby has their own small room so parents can stay 24 hours a day if they want. The parents are invited to hear the daily report on their baby from a team of people working to get their baby home. There is a lounge in the unit so parents can sit and decompress for a few minutes without feeling like others are wondering what's wrong. They had a small kitchen where nursing moms could grab a sandwich and soup and a microwave and fridge to store food you brought in. No one wants their baby to not get to come home, but if they have to stay, this was a wonderful place.
