Hypatia is messy, cluttered, disorganized. There was a highschool girl working there
who was dressed very inappropriately with a low cut top and short skirt. She was sitting
on the floor in the reception area in a pile of papers. I was told she was a family friend
of the doctor who she had hired to help her in the office.

I went to meet with the doctor and was told she had to be out at the last minute
and so I was supposed to meet with her nurse instead. The nurse could not fully
answer my questions and said she would have to ask the doctor and call me back.

I chose not to go back since it was such a bad experience.

I have had multiple issues with this clinic but the most significant is this: The way I was treated after I ended up with droopy eye lids from the nurse who injected me with Botox. She is now on maternity leave but she used a "new technique" for my injection. I went back in for her to see the results and she apologized repeatedly telling me it must of been the new technique she tried and then gave me $150 credit toward my next service.
I then ended up becoming friends with a girl in the cosmetic procedure industry. She told me that I needed to call them back immediately, $150 was a ridiculous refund when what happened was obviously injector error. She told me industry standard was to do the next procedure for free or at cost.
When I did call back I talked directly with Dr. Virginia Stevens. When I told her what happened and my concerns she immediately became defensive and told me "that is just a risk you take when you have botox ". I then asked her if that is her policy even if it is injector error and she told me yes and that I would find that was the same across the industry. I told her that I had called around to other clinics and in fact was told by the other clinics that they would immediately offer a free botox injection. Dr. Steven's rudely told me she would look at my chart and call me back in a few days. I did not hear back from Dr. Steven's for two weeks and only did at that time because I had called and left multiple messages.
After talking to Dr. Steven's again yesterday the resolution to the above issue remains exactly the same. She was again very rude and condescending and told me that even if the nurse did make an error that was just the risk I took by doing Botox. AGAIN Not the way MOST CLINICS in our area handle this issue. When you are spending this type of money with a clinic and trusting them with your face it amazes me that this is how anyone would be treated.
They are obviously not aware of who actually helps them stay open.
