I went to St. Francis Thrift Store to look and see the types of things they sold. They have a wide selection. I talked briefly with the manager to find out what the most usable donations are. I believe this organization is helping our area and I think that people should consider what they have that could be useful to others. I also people they have directly helped when they needed it the most. Everybody talks about tough times but these people are doing something about it.

This was a pleasant surprise in shopping the thrifts in dayton. I expected a din of noise like goodwill outlet and children running around jumping on furniture like saint vincents. I found quality used items and new clothes at the posted prices. no suprises at the check out because of the new tags and packaging. they are decorating for christmas and the store does not look like most thrift stores

Today my family and I went to St. Francis to get my children some clothes. near the end of my shopping trip my three year old started to get fussy. we had a cart full of clothing and the "manager" came up to us and said that we had to leave because he was making to much noise. the worst part was that he pointed to m one year old baby when he said this. This to me dose not adhere to any catholic principle that I am aware of and is a poor way to do any type of business. I plan to tell any and everyone that i know that this is a family unfriendly store.Etack

This one has been the source for many useful finds for me (kid's bike in great shape, two good secretary chairs, nice end tables and lamps). Nice couches and estate stuff sometimes, in great shape. Good selection of ladies shoes and kitchen things. Nice big space to shop around in and rarely anything near a big crowd so you can roam undisturbed. And right next door is a Big Lots, so between the two of them, you can spend a pleasant hour or two and not spend a fortune and maybe leave with a few treasures. Overall a fun experience.

PROS: Friendly and helpful staff, pleasant atmosphere for thrifting
CONS: Can't think of even one
