I had an appointment with Teresa today at 1:30pm to show her my home and sign up for their property management services. At 1:00pm today, she called to cancel, saying that they had too many homes in my area just sitting. This is completely unprofessional - if you need to cancel an appointment, do it in advance, not 30 minutes before the appointment. Also, she could have just told me up-front, which some other companies had done. Now it's the last minute, I'm moving tomorrow, and I'm scrambling to find someone else. Very disappointed.

I had purchased 4 new Homes in 2002. Since I hired a different company (APM) who ran each one into the ground. Our yards were full of weeds and garbage and then 2 renters didn't pay the 2nd Months Rent! Since we hired Fox in 2005 they have turned them all around! Great Communication, reliable income, great tenants. I highly reccomend this company!

While I agree with some of the other reviews that mention how awesome Jessie and Barbara are (the one redeeming feature to this company), Mandy has NO customer service skills and barely a brain to think with. Mandy, my advice for you is to go back to school, learn some customer service skills, and then try again. I won't bore other readers with a grocery list of complaints I have with this company; the bottom line is DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! They treat their clients as awful as they treat their residents. If I knew then what I know now, I would rather have ran down the road screaming than do business with Fox. I encourage you to do the same!

I turned my Plex over to Kelly in August with 4 vacancies. She has done a good job filling the vacancies and always gives me updates. Leasing is good, Manager is good. Thanks for everyting.

I applied to rent an apartment on 20th & Schuler through Fox Management. They refused to rent to me. They said I had too many evictions and my credit. I wasn't happy about it but they were pretty nice about it and reccomended a place to me. Overall they are nice people.

So my heater broke in my apartment last week. It was so dumb cause it was freezing!! They came out and fixed it quick so everything is fine. So far I like Fox Management.

Good Place. He's been pretty responsive with maintenance. I don't understand why people are saying bad things. The rent is a bit high but location is close so it worth it.

Fox Management loss us, when they mixed us up with another supposed tenants screening. Somehow, they had our name on another person's bad credit rating. And our good credit rating on the other tenants, giving them a higher rating. We figure because we are Latino, they mixed us up with another Latino family. When we would call about this, the owner would be really rude to us and hang up. We finnally went to the N.A.A.C.P. about this.

The N.A.A.C.P. told us, to let it go. That Fox Management has gotten stuck with renting to a Latino family with a poor credit rating, and we didn't get burned by them. N.A.A.C.P. did some credit checking, and our good credit rating hasn't gone down, even thought Fox Management did run a credit check on us.

So, now all we have to do is keep an eye on our credit ratings all three of them, and may try to burn us for the other Latino people they rented too, thinking it was our credit rating. Later on, we found out they aren't good in the Latino community and have some bad writings on Latino websites, one web sites says that the positive postings are really written by Fox Management themselves.

Pros: Someone else is renting with our good credit rating of 810

We found our dream home with Fox! This is actually our second place to rent from them. We had a small charge against our deposit on the old place, but they were reasonable about the costs. Tressa and Robert run a good show!

I say unfortunately because Fox always seems to have really cute rentals in great locations for decent prices. However, after calling for two from Evelyn a couple times each, and receiving no response at all, and after calling for one from Peter, who after returning my message a few days later was so rude I couldn't believe it, I now automatically dismiss any apartment when I see it's managed by Fox. I say just call them, you'll see, and since I see on here that people have trouble after they are moved in quickly, remember not to sound desperate! I normally don't write reviews, especially for a company I haven't actually done business with, but I was just blown away by how rude he was!! And that I never even received a call back from her! It's funny, too, after reading the other comments, because my boyfriend and I were both wanting to let the owners of the properties know how little Fox was doing to actually rent them out.

There has not been any change of ownership at Fox. The owners are Tressa and Robert Rossi and Peter Eberle is their new leasing agent. Crazy people out there with nothing better to do than write bogus reviews! Get a life people!

Fox has been great. we got our application approved even with some credit challenges. Barbara was so accomodating. Evelyn got us moved in ashe was real helpfull. I would recommend them highly. Even with good houses going so fast Fox still took the time to go out and show us three places. No other company would givve us the time of day.

I was once a tenant of Fox Non- Management Ingnorant Company for 2 Years and oh yes they do get you in pretty fast, But once you are in.That's when they start not answering calls, and please don't go to the office, They are walking around in that two little building with so much cluttered at the so call Front Desk(Area).......Customer Service is horrible, awful experience of when you move out all of a sudden they say I owe more than I was told and then replace (they say new carpet, new blinds, and painted) so it adds up to so much money, that I have not been able to find or rent a place since then (They Are Very Decieving and Dishonest)Please Don't waste your time.........................

I am not a tentant with this company, but I have called them on four different occasions over the past year about various properties, and I have yet to see one of them. Usually I leave a message and no one calls me back. This past month, I actually spoke with Evelyn and I told her I had great interest in seeing two of the houses for rent. She said she would call me when she would be holding a showing for each. No call back. I saw a posting on craigslist for a showing this past Monday from noon to 1 PM. Who can look at a house during a work day?

Overall, I find it very unprofessional that they don't call interested renters back. But I guess in this landlord's market in Portland, tenants are seen as a dime a dozen and don't really deserve superior customer service.

I was in desparte and quick need of a manager and found Fox online. They got me signed up quickly and I am finealy getting some cash flow on my house. Tressa was very professional in her presentation. I look forward to a long term relationship. I would recommend this company to others.

We have been with Fox for over a year now and they have been very responsive. We have a duplex that they manage and have been very satisfied. Our renters are happy and so are we. We went over to work on a plumbing repair and got to talking with the tenants and they had nothing but good feedback. We even had issues with unauthorized pets and Fox got the situation resolved immediately. They are a good company with integrity. I recommend them!

We had a maintenace request about a strange electrical problem we were having. The owner of Fox came out and was troubleshooting right away. We ended up having squirels in the attic that chewed up our wiring!! An electrician got out and we even got a follow up call from Fox to make sure all was ok. We have been tenants for over three years and nothing but good to say about the group at Fox Management.

I saw the other reviews and not sure what happened there, but they really went out of their way for me. I needed a place quick and they did every thing possible to get me in my new place in three days. We had some maintenance issues right off the bat, as we chose an older property but in a good location. The repairs got done right away, no problem. We even got a pair of movie tickets as a christmas gift. first time I had ever received a gift from my landlord! I would recommend this place to any of my friends and family.

One needs to beware of this company. As other reviews aptly express- this company is nonresponsive to both tenants and landlords. They don't answer phones, don't do repairs as needed, give misinformation in regard to services they will provide. Due to my association with the company, we are 6,000 poorer and 1,000 times more careful when getting involved with bad businesses.

We moved here from Texas, and had just one three day weekend to find a place. Fox was able to show us a variety of places in two days. We decided on a townhouse in Beaverton that had just got new carpet and was right next to a park/playground (great for my three year old). We found out on Monday that we were approved. Everything else we did online, how conveinent is that. The fees seemed very reasonable. After we got moved in there were a handful of items that needed repair. While we had a lot going on, Fox was able to accomodate our needs by coming out right away and when we were home. They even went out of their way to help us get our online payment set up and waived a late fee due to the online problems (later figured out it was user error). The last place I lived never would have done that. Thanks Fox!

I was so glad to finally find a property management company that answers the phone. I am a new investor and so many questions on how to get started with my new rental. Tressa was able to clear up my concerns and questions and meet with me right away. The references given had nothing but good things to say. I feel this will be a long standing relationship. I would recommend this company to other people considering property mgmt.

I rented from this company and it was a nightmare! They never responded to phonecalls and they let the house we rented fall apart---never doing repairs as needed. Please be wary of having any dealings with them, you will regret it.

Fox took over my property in February with a horrible tenant in place. They quickly got issues resolved and evicted our non paying tenant. We received good updates on our property while vacant and they got it rented quickly. I know from experience that this is a difficult business and Fox was able to exceed our expectations.

Fox asked me to input a review. It seems most people just write a review when there was a problem. Initially Fox was slow to return the call about a place. Once we got the appointment we really enjoyed the leasing person. She took us around to several other places and was very accomodating. We had credit issues, but they seemed upfront with what they required. We were approved (with more deposit) but overall had a good experience.

Fox Management was very bad professionaly and with the handling of their company. My Husband and I applied for a place, we looked at it online first we set up the appointment with her name was Shelia, and we were told to bring our application to the meeting. Well in the first place, I went to the appointment to met this lady and she was late, 20 minutes. We looked at the house, and we had already decided to go for it. My husband was at work, he's an elevator mechanic, he makes like $29.90 an hour, we had more than enough money to rent the place, and more that enough credentials and so we get there and in the meeting she's looking over our application and says that there is false information! We just put where we lived and this is a 10 year background check-mind you-where we lived in the past 10 years and the dates we lived at the different places from. Well anyone knows that in this demographic area you are going to have lived in different places and different situations. Well like we didn't falsify any information, and were honest about why we left the old places. Well she is like you need to find out the exact dates and explain the gaps. Well mind the @#$!!! gap! Yea we worked and lived in different houses, and I went to college too and put that on there. Well then she says well we'll process the application and then we'll see about the status of the application, I kinda of had a feeling about it, and you know to be honest, after talking with her, and then giving her the $80 non-refundable deposit, I thought well it was a learning experience. A learning experience that you shouldn't ever go with Fox Management. They were horrible. I mean she didn't even say would you like to look at another place, or anything. She was just a bad sales lady for the company. We're gald that it didn't go though becuase I'm sure we would have had problems with the maintance and everything else. BAD COMPANY-IN MY OPINION!!!!!!!!!!

I'm an applicant. The staff didn't answer their phones or return calls. I filled out the application and faxed it then called to see if I could get someone on the phone. (This was after one day of calling to talk to someone and several messages) I finally got the secretary on the phone and she asked if I could hold cause Teresa was on the phone. I did, for about 20 minutes, then the she came back on to tell me if I would like to leave a message. WTF! Sorry! So I tell her no I have left about 4 messages already, but if they can call me back. Next day no call, so I call (all 3 Ph# they have listed) to make sure they have received my application (they have) and ask if the apartment is available and Teresa said "Yes, have you paid your application fee?". I say "no, how can I do that? Can I stop in?" She says "You can, but it can also be done online." I say "OK I'll do that. Can we met?" She said "Once the application has been processed she will call me." I go online and I find you can pay rent but not an application fee, so I decide to go to their office to pay the fee and meet these people. I arrive and wait a couple of minutes for the secretary to get off the phone and tell her I would like to pay the deposit and speak with Teresa about the apartment. She speaks with Teresa to see if she was busy, then tells me she can see me. I say hello and she says "youre looking for SE 78th right?" I say "Yes" she says Oh that has already been approved for someone else." I ask "when did this happen? Because I was just told that it was open today" She says "Well...(and then checks a file)...Thursday of the week before." I say "Why was I told that it was?" She pauses and said "Well anyway (I translate that to "I don't give a @#$%" ) it's approved for someone else and if he doesn't bring the money today you can apply for it.

I am a homeowner that used FOX as proeprty managers. The result was my house became run-down due to lack of inspections. My bills were not paid on time. And my tenants were unhappy. I would never reccommend this company to anyone!

I'm a homeowner who has experience with this company. I found them unreliable and inexperienced. (i.e, did not maintain my house properly, failed to pay bills in timely manner, resulting in late fees, used, very high priced repair fees). I was very glad to change companies and get better service elsewhere last Spring.

We are in from Texas and needed a place fast! We saw the listing on the internet and we got a response right away. We saw the place on Tuesday and were moving in by Friday!! The staff was real nice and funny. We recommend them.
