Gem plumbing

"The good smelling plumbers"? Give me a break! I called and asked for an extimate to have my furnace cleaned last summer and they told me they don't do quotes but rather have to come out and give an estimate. Plus they had a traving fee to give an estimate. They rope you in by saying they will take the estimation fee off the bill (if you decide to go with them). I would never call GEM!

Gem plumber came to my house and quoted me a price 3 times the cost of Lowe's to install a toilet. The plumber then lied and said that Lowe's does not hire plumbers to do their work. Lowe's says by law they "absolutely" use plumbers. Why does Gem need to deceive their customers. Plus they charge $69 to give an estimate.
