We made reservations for my sister for her bachelorette party. we had a group of five girls and had made the reservations two weeks in advance. When we arrived, they told us that although we had reservations, the table wasn't ready. We could wait at the bar but they reserved the right to move us. I thought this was strange but assumed our seats would be open soon. We stood at the bar and some people ordered drinks. After waiting for half an hour, we were told that people wanted to sit at the bar and that we couldn't stand there any more. The restaurant crowded and there really wasn't anywhere else to stand. It was pouring outside. We told the hostess what had happened but she didn't do anything to try to fix us. I just can't believe that we waited for half an hour and were then told we couldn't sit at the bar, because people that had come in after us and that didn't have reservations wanted to sit down. We just left and went to Victoria's Gastropub where we had excellent service. My other sister organized the event and wrote a letter to Iron Wine Bridge explaining the situation. She has still not gotten a response. Horrible service.

Althought the atmosphere is nice and the view outside is great, the food was just ok. My husband and I had lunch here several months ago and enjoyed it, so we decided to go back for an anniversary dinner. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in the food. I got the salmon and my husband got the steak and neither one of us cared for it. We also did not like the dessert, a pumpkin dish and the service was pretty slow. So, all in all, I would not recommend this restaurant for dinner. Maybe ok for lunch and a nice view, but not for dinner.
PROS: Nice atmosphere
CONS: Unfortunately, the food was not great.

We were driving around Columbia today and found the The Iron Bridge Wine Company. It seemed that they were having a tasting party, but no it was just an ordinary day. We wer able to try some good wines before purchasing them. They also sold some great food and even had a small dining area. The parking lot is small and if you are not careful you'll pass right by...but it is definitely a wine shop worth the stop.

What a hidden gem. Located right off Route 108 Iron Bridge offers top quality food and excellent service.
Go early, go late, or head over for lunch - don't be deterred by the bustling atmosphere. They don't take reservations, but you will love to wait for your table with a nice glass of wine and the cheese plate.
Test your palate with new experiences - you won't be disappointed. I'm normally not very willing to try new foods, but this is the place to do it. Everything is prepared so well that you forget that you're eating something new.
It's a great place for a date, an anniversary, or a weekly dinner. Prices are excellent and the staff is personable and helpful. Look for quirky shirts and the new expanded dining room and bar.
They also do catering!!
PROS: Great food, Great wine selection, Warm and Inviting
CONS: They dont' accept reservations

This one is a hidden treasure. They just did renovations and the place is very hip and very relaxing. The meals are small plate and the wine is affordable. You can also buy bottles of wine while you are there. Don't forget the dessert! I recommend the chocolate ganache!
PROS: GREAT CHEF!
CONS: They don't take reservations and can get pretty busy.
