Go here for the absolute best Cajun food in Los Angeles. Quaint little place that serves up big flavors and ample portions. Everything on the menu is good! Eat in or take out - the food is just fabulous. Family run with charm, warmth and pride emanating for the Chef and staff. Loved it!

I've been eating at the Creole Chef since opening day and I can honestly say that is only gotten better. Whether I be in the mood for a bowl of mouth-watering seafood gumbo or a jaw-droppingly good cup of jammin' jambalaya I know I'm in for some delicious authentic down-south Creole food. The service, from the culinary artists to the energetic, kind and full of spirit waitresses, is always warm and great. Personally, I could honestly eat there everyday and never get tired of it. I strongly recommend you stop by one day, or evening, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

My lunch at work

I LOVE THIS PLACE! This is walking distance from my work so its always an option at the office. I am a fan of the sweet potato fries and the chicken explosion po boy! Its to die for. I also love their salads and the andouille dressing is perfect. You must try it. The customer service is very friendly and welcoming. You can order for pick up or eat there. Also its small and hidden behind the Baldwin Hills mall, its definitely a hidden treasure!

If you don't know by now - The Creole Chef cooks up some delicious Crab Cakes on the last Tuesday of the month except in December when they will cook them up on 12/18 - They are truly devine - oh.. and don't forget to try some other favorites like the sauteed shrimp poboy (dressed of course), seafood gumbo, sweet potato fries, fried oysters, red beans... I could go on-and-on - just go and find our for yourself! -- you get some LAGNIAPPE on Crab Cake nights
