In ShortFounded in 1901 in Chicago by Charles R. Walgreen Sr., this neighborhood pharmacy has grown to be one of the nation's largest drugstore chains. Each store carries 25,000 different items--from cleaning products to electronics and greeting cards. Store features include a computerized system connecting pharmacies nationwide via satellite, grocery-store food aisles, one-hour photofinishing and an automated phone system for prescription refills and pre-arranged pickup times. This store has a small selection of merchandise, smaller than most stores that I've visited. Convenient location though for last minute things. The cashier lady for their morning shift was pretty nice. Pretty pretty, too.

This pharmacy rocks. I have been to many drug stores and there is no comparison. The staff is super friendly and genuinely cares about my health. They are fast and efficient and very knowledgable. The pharmacists there are unbelievable as they are always going the extra mile for all their customers. Even while I was waiting for my meds, the other customers there couldn't stop praising the chief pharmacist. You don't find this type of service in this day and age. It is the pharmacy I trust with my life. Thanks Walgreens for hiring the entire staff!
