The food is great. There was a lot of buzz about this place when they first opened. The food is tasty and yum-o! They have fusion style cuisine that are both traditional and eclectic. They also offer sushi. There's only valet parking at front.

I've been to this restaurant 3 times and had 3 different experiences.

First time - January 2008 - phenomenal! The food was delicious and the service was brilliant.

Second time - March 2008 - good, but not outstanding

Third time - June 2008 - absolutely terrible. It took 50 minutes to get a steak "medium well" which turned out to be burnt. The mashed potatoes were yellow and tasted disgusting (yellow equals old apparently) and the servers had no knowledge of the food or wine.

Found out later that they changed Chefs some point after my first visit. Well, it shows and not for the best!

I had the pleasure to dine at ASIA this past Saturday night. Let me tell you that the food is fantastic! The atmosphere is great and the staff was excellent. Owner, Bobby Owsinski, has done a fabulous job.

We started our meal with spicy tuna on wonton skin, great appetizer. I loved the Thai Caeser salad. For a main course we were served Salmon steak with hot mango sauce and garlic noodles, superb. Their Andes glazed macadamia nut shrimp is to die for.

Great to find a place so close to Glendale, in the Atwater Village area of Los Angeles. I'll be going back for sure. Thanks ASIA for such a fantastic meal.
