I was very disappointed. Dr. Venezie was rude and short tempered with my toddler. She was afraid of sitting by herself and he kept insisting that I should let him strap her down. I walked out and have never returned. They charged me for the visit even though it lasted for less than 5 minutes. When I asked them why I was being charged when no work was done, the reason they gave me was that my 2 year old was combative and the doctor wasted his time! He is in the wrong profession. Does not have the patience or kindness required to be in this field.

He has scared my daughter forever. To this day she begs me not to take her to the mean dentist!

I would not recommend him to even my worst enemy!

My daughter was 4 when we started seeing Venezie. At first I was very pleased with the office and the Dr. They were very good with her cleanings. The trouble started when she had to have dental work done.

My daughter had 4 cavities filled. This appt. went fine since she was sedated. We then went to another dentist for a 6-month checkup when we were out of town simply because we were out town for an extended period of time. Everything checked out okay; however, when we returned to NC, Aliyah was missing a filling. When I took her to Venezie, he claimed that it was because he didn't get to check her @ 6 mths so he charged me for another filling!

But the real reason for me leaving this practice is how he intimidated my daughter into sitting still. His theory is that my child shouldn't get used to being sedated and that she needs to learn to listen to him. He scared her to death. He told me that I was only allowed to sit in the room if I didn't say a word. My daughter was crying and fussing because she was scared. She asked if she could see me or hold my hand and he told her no and if she continued fussing he would make me leave the room. Had I had a chance to talk to my daughter, I could have calmed her down. His technique may work with some children, but it does not align with my parenting techniques! I do not agree with intimidating a child into listening. I will never return to this office again!

I have been very pleased with the care that my son has received from Dr. Venezie and his staff. All of them easily put my son at ease. And my interactions with Dr. Venezie has been great. Once my youngest gets his teeth, I will take him to this practice. I highly recommend Dr. Venezie.

Saw doctor twice. Told us our child had 3 cavities. Got 2 other opinions that said the child did not have any cavities? Distrustful of Dr. Venezie. Would consult another pediatric dentist before you have any work done by this doctor.

My son required extensive dental work, so I made an appointment for Dr. Ronald. I expected that this dentist would be kind and understanding towards my children, he was a toddler at the time and was very intimidated about seeing a dentist. Dr. Ronald was impatient and rude. His staff wasn't very friendly either. Needless to say that I've never been back, I wouldn't allow this man to traumatize my young son. He's not fit to be a children's dentist. He needs to work on his "bedside" manner.

I travel from Winston Salem to see Dr. Venezie. My son has needed extensive dental care and Dr. Venezie has my total trust. He's also been great getting my 2 year old daughter through her dental exam. He expects much out of our children, however my children respond very well to him, with the goal being great dental care!!! He is worth the long drive!!!

Me, my sister, and my girls friend from dance class all go to Dr. Venezie and he couldn't be more kind and patient and thorough. Who cares if you can get an appointment quick.. that does not equal a bad dentist.. sheesh next they will be complaining he doesn't charge enough either. My toddler absolutley loves him and she quit her binky due to his help... she has actually quit requesting gummies all the time because she knows they can cause cavity bugs.. I asked Dr. Venezie to get her to let me brush behind her because she wants to do it herself all the time and he explained everything to her and she lets me do a "check-up" after her now!! YEAH.. my friends have all had good experiences... don't let a bad opinion turn you off..the nurses there and staff were just as kind. I would highly recommend Dr. Venezie because he takes the time to let your child know what is going to happen...and help participate in the process.

Venezie has never shown any patience towards my toddler during exam. The explanation for us the parents was equally mediocre. We were wondering why we were able to get an appointment next day while other dentists were booked 6 weeks in advance. Will not recommend or return.
