.

I have used this tailor a couple of times. The first time was just to hem pants, I was intrigued by his sign "10 minute alterations." Well, I have never gotten anything in 10 minutes, let alone the same day. (In smaller letters, it says "No later then 3 days." Well, there's a huge difference between 10 minutes and 3 whole days, but that's not even the worst of it.

I gave him 2 pairs of pants to hem first, he did a decent job with them, in about 4 days. I gave him a jacket and skirt to take in. He took the waist of the jacket in, but not the shoulders...when I put it on I looked like a football player. The skirt, again, he only took the waist in and didn't taper the rest of the skirt to match, plus he left white marks all over a black skirt. OK, so I'm thinking, maybe he was just having a bad day or week and gave him a third chance. I brought 2 more pairs of pants to hem, it took him 6 days to do it and within 3 days the hem on one leg fell out. When I brought the pants back, he asked "did you want me to do this with the machine?" Well, first of all, I paid him to do a job and do it well, not half-ass, And second, I shouldn't have to tell him how to do his job, if he is advertising himself as a tailor with years of experience, he should be able to do his job without being told how. He would not fix the hem on the one leg while I waited...again, where is the 10 minute service he is advertising? I told him I would be back in 2 hours, he said he had a lot of work to do. I commented that had he done it right the first time, I wouldn't have to be returning, he promised to have them ready by 6:30. I arrived at 6:45pm and he hadn't even started...he did it while I waited...imagine this, within 10 minutes.

I doubt I will ever go back here, it has been quite a disappointing experience. The saying of "you get what you pay for" is true. Funny thing, or perhaps not so funny, I found another place, that people rave about and they only charge a couple of dollars more.

Don't waste your time here, take the extra 10 minutes to drive a little further.
