Wonderful Relaxing Experience

by kiwi33

My husband sent myself and my best friend as a surprise treat after we had babies this year. It was my first spa experience, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was great. I had a hot stone massage which was wonderful, I had a facial from Corie, and couldn't beleive how my face looked after. I can't wait to go back.

Thanks Ladies!

Awesome experience ... every time!

by Evan S

Without a doubt, Joy has found her calling. She takes time with me before every appointment to discover what places of tension need special attention and then makes sure I don't leave until they have all relaxed ... she is the only person I trust to deliver a truly therapeutic massage beneficial to my long-term health! She is a blessing in my life.

Pros: Best deep tissue massage ever!

Cons: None I can think of ...

Best Massage EVER!

by CallieMarie

I've had two massages by Joy Campbell and both were the most phenomenal massages I've ever received. Her intuitive approach to working with my body provided me with intense sessions of deep relaxation. I know she worked out lots of toxins and helped loosen tight spots all throughout my body. Can't say enough good about my experience there! No need to go anywhere else.

Pros: Very nice ambiance

Cons: You get what you pay for - so no "cheap" costing massages

First Time Facial

by CeraMac18

Having never had a facial, I had no expectations for my visit to Nature's Spa. Cory instanly won me over with her approchability and professionalism.
I had this idea a facial was all about popping zits. I had no idea that I would relax and actually fall asleep during the treatment. After my facial I noticed my skin glowed for days. Thank you Cory for a wonderful first time facial! I'm hooked!

Best Therapist in Charlotte...

by spadajunkie

A friend told me about Natures Spa and their Ultimate Spa Treatment. It sounded so amazing and she claimed it was the best experience she eve had, so I had to check it out.
Wow, you wouldnt know it from the outside, but when you walk in you immediately start to relax and feel a sense of comfort. Corie was my therapist and she was by far the best I have ever come across. She was genuinely friendly and really seemed to enjoy what she does. She explained everything, made me feel so welcome and her knowledge, touch and energy totaly transformed my day. Now I know why my friend was so taken by the experience, the dry brushing, body scrub, warm mud massaged into the skin, a unbelievable facial during the wrap..then the tub, sauna and massage..and the little touches like the scalp massage and foot treatment..it really was the ultimate treatment...LOVE it, and cant wait to go back!!!!
Thanks Corie...I'm asking for you again for sure.

Pros: Great Staff, Relaxing Spa

Want to Relax & Rejuvinate? You've come to the right place

by NY LP

Since my job, of over 20 years, has taken its toll on my neck, shoulders, spine, and hands, my chiropractor highly recommended Nature's Spa to help with the pain in these areas. Corie has been my massage therapist and she is wonderful!! She really listened to where my pains were and she recommended a combination therapy. Corie is not only highly qualified but she is very attentive to your needs and what works best for you. Looking forward to going back for some R & R!!

Excellent Find!

by LSee1

I found Nature's Spa online 4-5 months ago and I haven't been happier with the results there! I have problem areas in my upper back, shoulders and calves and since I started massage therapies, the symptoms would diminish quickly and then subside. These people know what they are doing! There is nothing like the feeling of coming in with pain and your body off kilter and leaving relieved, relaxed and at peace. It is almost necessary in today's stressful atmospheres. Corie makes you feel at ease instantly and listens to pain or discomfort you might have. She is highly skilled and very accomodating to your schedule. I've also recommended Nature's Spa to my mother who has arthritis in her hands and she raved about Valerie's massage. Give them a try...you won't be dissapointed.

Pros: the small, calming setting/massage expertise/friendliness

Cons: a little pricey

Outstanding Runners Reward Massage

by Cheerios

My hips were particularly painful after doing some long distance running for marathon training. I was looking for a therapist who could help massage and stretch my legs and hips to relax the muscles. I was pleasantly surprised at the focus and knowledge Corie had of the running muscles. As expected I was a bit more sore the next day, but in two days my hips no longer hurt.

I have been going back every two weeks to maintain my flexibilty and avoid the soreness. Corie is very knowledgeable and strong, it is by far the best sports massage I have received.

Pros: Great massage for sore legs, hips and lower backs.

Cons: None

Best massage in Charlotte...bar none !!!!

by buddy0710

The past twenty five years I've received massage at a number of vacation spa's and while living in northern California experienced many first class massage therapists. It's not an exaggeration to say that Joy is the best my wife and I have experinced. We prefer a deeper massage and many times have been disappointed with the all to common touchy, feely experience. NOT JOY !!!!
She's willing and able to deliver any pressure you desire. If you looking for a relaxing, stress reducing experience give Joy and Nature's Spa and Wellness a try. I promise you you won't regret it.

Pros: Best massage in Charlotte

Cons: None

WOW! Charlotte's Hidden Secret Spa

by bosbergdorfbap

I have lived here for 10 years and have personally witnessed the rise and fall of service quality of almost every spa in town. And voila, I find Nature's Spa, this quiet, small, private, well-hidden oasis where the massage professionals are ACTUALLY career therapists, not just our of school. The careful selection of organic products and guided cleansing is wonderful. But the absolute best part is feeling like a priority during your time at Nature - no ringing phones, no hair dryers, no waiting while someone in front of you buys shampoo. At Nature's, it's almost one client at a time and it's ALL ABOUT YOU. I had the Detox treatment, which is 2/5 hours of bliss, massage, dry brushing, body wraps and moisturizing, jet tub soaking and sauna. I am in love and can't wait until my next treatment! Thanks again.

Pros: Personalized, caring service

Wonderful relaxing massage

by gretchenp

I needed a massage because I was having a lot of pain that started in my upper back and radiated down my left side. I made an hour appointment with Corie and she did a fabulous job. We talked before the massage and she knew exactly how to work the knots out. She used the perfect pressure to work out the stress. It was more than I would typically pay for an hour neuromuscular massage, but worth it.

Pros: calming, knowledgeable, experienced staff

Cons: more expensive but worth it

Best Facial by Cori

by KatieGodnyuk

I went in for a facial. My main focus was to relax. I wasn't sure what kind of a facial I needed. Cori suggested what she thought was best. I fell asleep during the facial. It was sooo... relaxing and professional. When I was done my skin felt wonderful.. Eventhough, she had to do some extractions my face was even color and no redness. My skin was radiant and glowy. Not moist and greasy like it usually felt like from rubbing on moisturizer at the end of the service. It was naturally glowing. Thanks Cori !!!! Definately recommend the spa and Cori

Pros: Wonderful and relaxing spa atmoshpere

very accommodating

by Susan555

I had the pleasure of getting my massage from Valerie and body wrap and facial from Cori. My sister, cousin, and I wanted a special girls' day out. Valerie worked with me extensively, coordinating with the other therapists, to service all 3 of us and get us out in a timely fashion to make a lunch date. They even brought in a 3rd therapist to make all work more smoothly. We got the Ultimate Package, and it is ultimate. Our therapists are all trained in neuro-muscular massage and had worked with doctors. This was important to me, since Valerie was able to give me excellent deep tissue work to ease a medical condition. They gave us queenly treatment, providing an incredible morning.

Pros: super nice people to work with

Best place for deep tissue massage - sweet pain

by sudhira

I had severe pain in my neck and lower back and my chiropractor refered me to this nature wellness. There I went for a deep tissue massage and Corie did an ammmmazing job. She exactly knows what she is doing and she is very experienced. I made many visits to chirpractor before but I did not get rid of the pain but after my deep tissue massage i felt a lot better.
The best thing about them is, they really want you to get better, it is not like, you had a massage and it is over. They take personal care and are very professional. As far as i know, corie is the best and I'm very impressed by the way they treat their clients.

Pros: extended hours

Cons: little expensive

Best Massage Ever!!!!!!!!!

by BillCaskey

My first visit to Nature?s Spa and Wellness was a gift from my wife. The past three years have been a gift to myself and it is one of the best health decisions I have ever made. I suffered from headaches, chronic neck and back pain for more than ten years. I had chiropractic treatments, physical therapy, lived on aspirin, been to doctors, taken muscle relaxers but nothing worked. I even had a brain scan.

To say that going to Joy has changed my life would be an understatement.

I got some relief after the first visit, but as Joy put it, I was a wreck. It took several visits of focused attention on the trouble areas to get total relief. I was in such bad shape that I couldn?t sit or lie down without getting a killer headache that would start in my neck and shoulders. With regular visits Joy can keep me pain free with no more sleepless nights. She is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone there is great! If you have pain you need them?????.

My son lives in CA and my daughter lives CT. Their first stop when they come to Charlotte is Nature?s Spa and Wellness. They both say it is the best massage they have ever had??????

Pros: everythings

Cons: none

Best massage therapist I have experienced!

by hounds3

I am an avid supporter of alternative heatlh and healing. I have been learning and being treated for the last 14 years from varous modalities to include chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy, and natural supplementation.
I believe most therapies are going to offer some benefit but did not experience true freedom of movement and healing until finding Natures Therapy. Joy offers a postural analysis and addresses your individual needs, will provide education, and even suggestions for imporvement at home through exercies and stretching. My athletic performance improved in my chosen sport and my pain diminished. I also experienced improved self confidence both in my health and well being. Cannot recommend this practice enough to folks out there for both pain management as well as general health and well being maintenance.

Pros: benefits in every way, worth the investment for yourself

Awesome for competitive athletes!

by larrylee

I've been going to Nature's Spa and Wellness for about a year, even though I was reluctant at first (guys don't go to spas, right? wrong!). I am 40 years old and a very competitive athlete, and I've seen huge improvements in my performance over the past year. I give much of the credit to the staff at Nature's. One of the most important elements in preparing for competition is the recovery phase after a period of very difficult workouts. The muscles get tight, the lactic acid builds up, and you just feel worn down after a while. The muscles have to be allowed to recover after being worked so hard, and it's not just a matter of taking a day off here and there. It's a matter of working with professionals like those at Nature's Spa and letting them accelerate and enhance your recovery, realeasing all of the tension in your muscles and flushing the body of the lactic acid. This makes the next phase of workouts so much more productive because I feel great and therefore am able to push myself out of my comfort zone to the next level of fitness. I go to Nature's Spa and Wellness once every two weeks, which is the perfect amount for me. The prices are very reasonable, especially in light of the benefit that is received. And that's the true test of value - are you getting what you pay for? At Nature's Spa, you truly get top value, no doubt about it. Besides that, Joy and the rest of her staff are very pleasant, upbeat, and a lot of fun to be around. In summary, I would recommend Nature's Spa and Wellness to anyone, whether a competitive athlete or not, who is interested in feeling better and achieving higher levels of fitness and wellness. Two thumbs up from this guy!

Pros: Thumbs up totally - convenient, plenty of parking, close to other popular outlets

Cons: None

Get some JOY in your life!

by azure98

Simply put, Joy is THE BEST massage therapist we've ever had. And we have lots of basis for comparison, having visiting some of the finest spas both in the US and abroad. About a year ago my husband and I decided to make massage a regular part of our preventive wellness routine instead of just an occasional luxury, and it has made a huge difference in our energy and stress levels. We really look forward to our monthly sessions at Nature's Spa. I get a blend of Swedish and deep tissue that really works on releasing tension and toxins and helping speed up healing to some muscle injuries I've had. My husband also enjoys using the hydrotub before his massage sessions to warm and loosen his muscles. Her new space is inviting and calming with sofly bubbling water fountains, warm glowing salt rock lights, soothing music, and relaxing aromas. I always leave feeling like a new person! Don't deny yourself this wonderful experience!

Pros: Therapy beyond relaxation

Cons: None (and I'm really picky)

Best Pregnancy Massage EVER!!!

by ajj0805

WHAT A FIND!!! I am new to Charlotte, and was in need of a pregnancy massage, so I googled "certified prenatal therpists" for the Charlotte area...and I took a chance on Natures Spa. I have had numerous massages in my lifetime, but that was THE BEST massage I have EVER had! Lindsay is so knowledgeable, compassionate, and totally knows how to make a pregnant woman feel AMAZING! She found all the needed areas, and was not afraid to give some deeper work to a pregnant woman! Not a fluff fluff massage at all! The spa is beautiful, the staff is polite, and I will TOTALLY BE BACK!!!

Best Massage, Hydrotherapy Tub and Fabulous Service a wonderful welcome to Charlotte

by olemiss91

I was pleasently surprised by my new find...My Husband actually found the Spa on the way to play Golf...Go Figure! When I arrived, I met with Joy and explained to her I am usually carrying one baby on a hip...Have a phone attached to my ear and trying to either cook dinner, fold laundry or pack a lunch.

As soon as Joy put her hands on a few pressure points.....the base of my neck and in between my shoulderblades....she found knots I never knew I had. The Hydrotherapy Tub is wonderful and very relaxing before her massage. All the products are all natural and smell wonderful...you will be a puddle on the floor when she gets through with you. Turn off your cell phone, have your Husband watch the kids....It will be the best hour and a half you have spent in a long time.....

I Can't wait to go back!

Pros: Hydrotherapy Tub, very friendly staff and very Knowledgeable!

Best imrovement on my pain

by irideladder16

I am a 38 year old man an former college athlete, playing two sports for many years and continue to do so now. I have had chronic knee, lower back and neck pain for many years. At my first visit to the spa the I met Joy who is a therapist and also the owner. Joy was very knowledgable in her field and listened to every complaint I had one at a time during our discussion befor the procedures I had. The Hydrotherapy tub before my neromuscular masage provided a very beneficial attribute and relaxed my body. This was several weeks ago and I now go bi-weekly abd have seen a tremendous improvement in my pain, and also gained in my training. I would highly recomend this to anyone who is a athelete and looking for an edge for your body. Also I would also like to commend the male receptionist for his professionalism and also how he handles the appointments and gets me in and out quickly at my convenice.
