Joy is an amazing therapist and does one of the best deep tissue massages I have ever received. I have had at least a hundred massages in my life and I am a EXTREMELY picky about the energy and technique of those I receive body work from. Joy is aptly named: she is warm, caring and has incredible skill and knowledge. She listened carefully to my needs and my massage was just what I needed. I left feeling relaxed and renewed. I would highly recommend Nature's Spa & Wellness, and particularly Joy, to everyone.

But I've honestly never felt like the therapist did a consistently perfect job even single time. If you want someone that really knows skin and massage, corie is it. She is not like the rest, trying to sell you the products on their shelf because "theirs are the best for you". She is a skin expert and will help you figure out what is beat to improve your skin. Her massages beat anyone's I've had, bar none. Also, to recommend something specifically, the detox wrap and the hydro therapy tub really make you feel rejuvinated and reenergized. I have been going to Nature's Spa and Wellness for about 4 years. I have always had the best treatments ever. I do a lot of traveling and have not found another spa anywhere that has the professionalism and experience as these ladies have. I would highly recommend their service to anyone

Most, if not all spas in the Charlotte area have a no-show or cancellation policy, our policy at Natures Spa is not uncommon. It is written on the website and we review it when booking our appointments. There is a full charge for no-shows and a 50% charge for appointments cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the appointment.

On December 22 you had a no-show that was rescheduled for December 29th.
Less than one hour prior to your scheduled session, you canceled your second appointment stating you had a sick child at home. We certainly understand emergencies happen and as a courtesy to you, not only did we waive the standard cancellation fee, we also forgave the no-show fee for the initial appointment. We only requested that you pay an adjusted $20.00 per day cancellation fee, simply to compensate the therapist.

Our therapists have children too, and rely on the appointments scheduled for income. I say this in response to your comment about a business having to expect cancellations. We do expect them; we also set certain boundaries to ensure all parties are accountable and treated fairly.
We continually strive for 100% satisfaction in all areas of our business. I apologize if you feel you were treated unjust, it is never our intension to offend or disappoint our clients.

I am expecting my second child at the age of 40 and suffer from serious back aches. Corie took the best care of me I have seen her for the third time now, and my days are much easier. I will continue to see her throughout my pregnancy and after and I was glad she was referred to me. They office is amazing and there customer service goes beyond my expectations. They have accommodated me on several occasions, due to my pregnancy and having a five year old son on the run, they have had to work around my schedule a few times. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a cure.

I visited Nature Spa for a body wrap and facial last week. Corie was absolutely wonderful! I felt fully renewed! As a new mother, this was a great way for me to unwind and take some time for myself. Unfortunately I never even got in the door! I was given a gift certificate for my birthday of $120 to Nature's Spa & Wellness. As a mother of 2 my life is very busy and things like this are hard to fit into our busy schedules but I was really looking forward to some pampering! Unfortunately the day of my original appointment my children had fevers and therefore I had to cancel at the last minute. I was disappointed but looked forward to rescheduling. I was able to get another appointment just this week, however, after double checking on the gift certificate, I was told that it was no longer worth it's value since I had cancelled my previous appointment. She wanted me to pay an additional $55 (for waxing and products) in order to keep my appointment. After thinking about it I decided she could keep the $120 she made off of my dad and that I would not be using my appointment tomorrow. She didn't give me a way to utilize my gift certificate, she just wanted more money. Cancelled appointments are part of running a business. Now she has alienated me as a customer as well as anyone else I come in contact with.

This has to be the best spa treatment I have EVER experienced, anywhere! I travel quite a bit, both domestically, carribean, and abroad and the ultimate spa package rivals any I have had at the Ritz, in Paris, or any other city.

Joy is the best massage therapist in Charlotte! Her spa is amazing and very relaxing.

So a very good friend gave me a gift card to get a massage and I chose Natures Spa and wellness because they were close to my home. When I called, Corie was very friendly and helped me understand which type of a massage would be best. When I walked in, the experience was immediately relaxing and soothing. There was a girl there who had just gotten a massage and was raving about how great she felt.
A few moments later, Corie came out and we went to the room where she asked a few questions to help her better serve me. I felt extremely comfortable telling her that I had MS and was in a lot of pain. She combined both deep tissue, relaxation, and other techniques to best suit me. I felt very relaxed. When I left, she took the time to give me some information as awell as a title of a book about a woman with MS. This was a great experience!!

I received a gift certificate for Christmas for a Nature's Spa. My mom high recommended Corie. Corie was very in tuned to what I needed. It was the best message, ever : ) She is very knowledgeable, friendly and knows just what her clients need for work out those kinks and RELAX!! I look forward to my next appointment. Joy is hands down the best massage therapist in Charlotte. Awesome attitude, great deep tissue massage and generally very knowledgeable about everything related to health, fitness, nutrition etc. Also very professional and dependable in the way they conduct business/schedule appointments. I will be a regular here!

I was highly impressed with this spa. My friend came to visit me to celebrate our birthdays and we chose this spa after a few weeks of reading reviews on various sites. She called to make an appointment and we were sad to find out they were closed on sundays. :( Much to our surprise, the owner of the spa said she would be happy to find someone to come in along with her and they would be able to take us so we could celebrate our birthdays! In my opinion this is customer service at it's finest. Definitely one of the benefits of going to a smaller, individually owned business. Don't let the outside fool you. On the inside it's warm and welcoming with services and employees to match. A great massage too!

After a nine month search for help with a shoulder blade injury (and thousands of dollars spent on doctors, physical therapy, trigger point injections, chiropractic, laser treatments, etc.) I went to Nature's Spa for neuromuscular massage therapy. Joy made my pain go away and after almost a year with constant pain and sleepless nights, it was like a miracle. She is fantastic and you should definitely try this spa. Even if you do not suffer with pain you can get regular massage therapy and other spa services. This is the best "find" ever.

I went to Corie for a massage on a Groupon, and recently returned for a 2nd time. She is an excellent massage therapist, and I know as I have been a licensed massage therapist myself for 20 years! And the atmosphere of this little gem of a spa is just right. Low lighting, music, tinkling water and the most wonderful line of organice products Eminence from Hungary. I highly recommend Corie and Nature's Spa and Wellness for the best and coziest spa in Charlotte, bar none! No wonder Citysearch correctly gave it their 2009 Best spa in Charlotte award! Kris

I have been seeing Joy at Nature's Spa and Wellness and she has helped IMMENSELY with my lower back issues. She has helped me through rough patches where my back was in spasm and has helped me preventively since then. I know the massage therapy I receive is a vital part of my staying well and am so thankful to have found Joy and Nature's Spa & Wellness. Nature's Spa and Wellness is absolutely FABULOUS! I have had several massages over the years (including a Las Vegas Resort) and have not ever had any better. I used to get them (massage) for pure pleasure and relaxation. I know utilize the massage for sports therapy and recovery as I have started long distance running. In all the massage's i have had, Joy is the only one that knew I had torn my hamstring several years ago through massaging the scar tissue.

Don't judge a book by it's cover...the building may not be what you expect from the outside. But by far, you will have the most excellent experience!

I tried Nature's SPA based on the positive reviews on this site. I was not disappointed.

Corie is an excellent masseuse. She listened and spent time getting know my needs, and then put her skills to work. Absolutely a top notch job and I will be returning time and again.

I was not sure what to expect when I walked in as it is in an older commercial looking building. However, once I walked in, I was impressed with the space. Most facials and massages I have experienced have often been in salons with noisy waiting areas. This was intimate and relaxing, making each moment, even the wait, enjoyable. Corie did a wonderful job on my face and I am definitely looking forward to returning!

Corie worked with me and she was great, took the time to really work on the pain area's and my aches were reduced dramatically going back tomorrow to get additional treatment.

I had a 90 minute massage with Joy and it was one of the best massages I have ever had ... and I am a massage snob! She is very knowledgable about what was ailing me - and fixed me up! I also started the 21 day detox program and am feeling really good...I am on day 10, but I can tell I am getting rid of toxins and in general just feel much better. It's not a hard program to stick to - they want you to eat so you are not hungry. All supplements are natural food products, so I am not putting chemicals in my body just to get rid of them. I recommend it!! And hope to be 25 pounds lighter by day 21!! They are also flexible on appointment times. I could only book a 60 min massage on line - but she was able to give me the 90 minutes that I wanted. Joy is super to work with!

Nature's Spa and Wellness is a diamond in the rough. Not very noticeable from the road, it is very quaint and relaxing inside. I thoroughly enjoyed the facial Corie gave me. I would have to give Nature's Spa 5 stars. The place was clean, comfortable and relaxing. I really enjoyed my Ultimate Detox Treatment with Corie. She was very professional and I felt very comfortable around her. Every step of the procedure was calm and relaxing and I never felt as though any steps were raced through. I left there that night feeling better than I have ever felt leaving any other place. I look forward to my next visit at Nature's Spa for another Ultimate Detox Package & I will be requesting my service be done with Corie.

Had some bodywork done by Corrie for the first time this week. The building looks pretty sketchy from outside, so i was pleasantly surpised when i walked in. It's very quaint and cozy and immediatly relaxing. I went for some back pain. The massage was VERY relaxing and the smells were fantastic. Then corrie spent extra time reviewing the source of my pain and recommended several things i should do on my own before my next session. She said i may feel better the next day and she was right. I didn't believe one session would help but it did. I can't wait to go back!

After lots of research, I chose to participate in Nature's Spa and Wellness 21-Day Purification Detox program. I have never felt better, and it's a wonderful start to the new year. I wanted a deep pore cleansing, but also wanted to feel relaxed so the receptionist suggested the natures ultimate facial...unbelievable!! Corie was fantastic, come to find out she is an esthetician AND a massage therapist so she pulls the two together for the most amazing facial I have ever had! My skin looks great, my neck feels loose and I just cant believe how wonderful a facial can feel. I really liked the stones and salt water too, it was neat. Thanks again Corie!!

My husband sent myself and my best friend as a surprise treat after we had babies this year. It was my first spa experience, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was great. I've had two massages by Joy Campbell and both were the most phenomenal massages I've ever received. Her intuitive approach to working with my body provided me with intense sessions of deep relaxation. I know she worked out lots of toxins and helped loosen tight spots all throughout my body. Can't say enough good about my experience there! No need to go anywhere else.

Having never had a facial, I had no expectations for my visit to Nature's Spa. Cory instanly won me over with her approchability and professionalism.
I had this idea a facial was all about popping zits. I had no idea that I would relax and actually fall asleep during the treatment. After my facial I noticed my skin glowed for days. Thank you Cory for a wonderful first time facial! I'm hooked!

On October 03, 2009, I sent my soon-to-be Bride babysitter to Corie, she was stressed out from all the wedding plans. I needed someone to help her relax I sent her for the Ultimate Spa, and when the Maid of Honor picked her up she stated that my babysister was walking on clouds. A friend told me about Natures Spa and their Ultimate Spa Treatment. It sounded so amazing and she claimed it was the best experience she eve had, so I had to check it out.
Wow, you wouldnt know it from the outside, but when you walk in you immediately start to relax and feel a sense of comfort. Corie was my therapist and she was by far the best I have ever come across. She was genuinely friendly and really seemed to enjoy what she does. She explained everything, made me feel so welcome and her knowledge, touch and energy totaly transformed my day. Now I know why my friend was so taken by the experience, the dry brushing, body scrub, warm mud massaged into the skin, a unbelievable facial during the wrap..then the tub, sauna and massage..and the little touches like the scalp massage and foot treatment..it really was the ultimate treatment...LOVE it, and cant wait to go back!!!!

Since my job, of over 20 years, has taken its toll on my neck, shoulders, spine, and hands, my chiropractor highly recommended Nature's Spa to help with the pain in these areas. Corie has been my massage therapist and she is wonderful!! She really listened to where my pains were and she recommended a combination therapy. I found Nature's Spa online 4-5 months ago and I haven't been happier with the results there! I have problem areas in my upper back, shoulders and calves and since I started massage therapies, the symptoms would diminish quickly and then subside. These people know what they are doing! There is nothing like the feeling of coming in with pain and your body off kilter and leaving relieved, relaxed and at peace. It is almost necessary in today's stressful atmospheres. Corie makes you feel at ease instantly and listens to pain or discomfort you might have. She is highly skilled and very accomodating to your schedule. I've also recommended Nature's Spa to my mother who has arthritis in her hands and she raved about Valerie's massage. Give them a try...you won't be dissapointed.

My hips were particularly painful after doing some long distance running for marathon training. I was looking for a therapist who could help massage and stretch my legs and hips to relax the muscles. I was pleasantly surprised at the focus and knowledge Corie had of the running muscles. As expected I was a bit more sore the next day, but in two days my hips no longer hurt.

I have been going back every two weeks to maintain my flexibilty and avoid the soreness. Corie is very knowledgeable and strong, it is by far the best sports massage I have received.

The past twenty five years I've received massage at a number of vacation spa's and while living in northern California experienced many first class massage therapists. It's not an exaggeration to say that Joy is the best my wife and I have experinced. We prefer a deeper massage and many times have been disappointed with the all to common touchy, feely experience. NOT JOY !!!!

I have lived here for 10 years and have personally witnessed the rise and fall of service quality of almost every spa in town. And voila, I find Nature's Spa, this quiet, small, private, well-hidden oasis where the massage professionals are ACTUALLY career therapists, not just our of school. The careful selection of organic products and guided cleansing is wonderful. But the absolute best part is feeling like a priority during your time at Nature - no ringing phones, no hair dryers, no waiting while someone in front of you buys shampoo. At Nature's, it's almost one client at a time and it's ALL ABOUT YOU. I had the Detox treatment, which is 2/5 hours of bliss, massage, dry brushing, body wraps and moisturizing, jet tub soaking and sauna. I am in love and can't wait until my next treatment! The body wrap experience was unbelievable. I went in stressed, worn out and run down and came out refreshed in body, mind and spirit.
This was my first body wrap and Corey made me feel very comfortable. She explained each step of the process. I totally felt pampered with the body scrub, wrap, facial, 20 jet tub soak, and sauna. To top it all off, the experience ended in a quiet room with an incredibly healthy snack, hot tea and a special lotion It was truly a treat that my body needed and appreciated.

I went in for a facial. My main focus was to relax. I wasn't sure what kind of a facial I needed. Cori suggested what she thought was best. I fell asleep during the facial. It was sooo... relaxing and professional. When I was done my skin felt wonderful.. Eventhough, she had to do some extractions my face was even color and no redness. My skin was radiant and glowy. Not moist and greasy like it usually felt like from rubbing on moisturizer at the end of the service. It was naturally glowing. Thanks Cori !!!! Definately recommend the spa and Cori
