I have been eating at Kimonos for several years. They have a two for $20 special where you can get Steak, Chicken, Shrimp, & Scallops, with Soup and Salad, Fried or Steamed Rice, and Sweet Carrots, all served for two people. That is a great deal for your money, no doubt. The sushi is good too, and the service is always excellent. I have been to this restaurant more times than I can count and have nothing negative to say about it at this point in time.

This is more like a Japanese Bistro than say a 'Benihana' Japanese restaurant. The food is prepared in an open kitchen though not at your table. Alfresco dining option is a plus. The food is seasoned for a southern palate, not a Japanese one, however. The portions are ample and the service is efficient, warm and friendly. The food is worth the trip.

Pros: Delicious Food and Friendly Service

Cons: Not very authentic, "storefront" atmosphere

I am a Sushi lover and Kimono's is fair. The prices are okay for what you get. I really enjoy their Hibachi Chicken. You get a ton of food for a very reasonable price.
