Palmetto's Salon

I recently had the privilege of moving to the Summerville area. I salon shopped and found Palmetto Salon to be just what I was looking for. Warm inviting decor, and friendly attentive staff. Donna, the owner and my stylist, took the time to really listen to my wants and needs. I left with the exact color and cut that was from the photo's I brought for ideas. I look forward to a long and happy relationship with Palmetto Salon and Summerville SC.

I have also been a customer and friend of Donna's for year, and I used to love it! But since about a year or so ago, she has always been overbooked and rushing around and all in all not spending the time or giving the attention she should, especially for the price. The last three or four times I scheduled a cut and color appointment with her, she didn't even do my color. The girl who did my color did a great job and was much more attentive than Donna, but I didn't schedule my appointment with her. The last few times I've gone, Donna has been working on someone else the entire time of my appointment and spent less the fifteen minutes cutting my hair. I understand being busy, but this has happened far too often.

I have been a customer of Palmetto Salon since it opened, and a customer of the current owner while she was at another salon for a few years prior to that. It is a small but beautiful salon with two stylists that are two of the friendliest women you will ever meet, not to mention the hairstyling expertise. They are very receptive to what you want out of your cut, and if you change your mind about something later they usually fix it at no charge. They really spend a lot of time on your hair and the price is comparable to other hair salons.
