My daughter was moved to this school because she was neglected by another school. Moving her to BCAMP was the best decision I have ever made. My daughter was brought to the school when she was 3. She is now 5 and still attends on holidays/summer. The Pre-k program is by far the best. Miss Stokes is great at what she does. My daughter went into Kindergarten knowing 18 sight words, she knows all the letters of the alphabet, she knows all the sounds, she knows how to add, she can sound out words to read small word books!! So this school is a great investment to your childs future. And Mrs. Amy Fish is a terrific owner and cares about the needs of the children. And Mrs. Butler is one heck of a director. I had an issue with my daughter getting bullied by two girls and well Mrs. Butler took time out of her day to sit in the classroom to find out why she was getting bullied. And she fixed the issue. My child will continue to attend BCAMP until she can stay at home alone!! This is by far the best school in the HEB area!

I believe that some of the workers and people are genuinely kind and try to have the best interest of the children who attend at heart.
But, I wouldn't recommend this daycare/preschool for any consistant early language. You can definitely visit it for one day from the walker classes to the 4yr. old. and Especially during nap time. Where you may have 25 little ones trying to nap, of course there are a few that doesn't, so it keeps the other ones up.
I know that is just too many little ones to try to relax and rest, plus when they all have to get up and go to the bathroom, it is choas.
I feel it is just a babysitting daycare, similar to the others around town, nothing special. It doesn't have the low, small ratio of teacher to children. Also, teaching spanish or french, there is no qualified language teacher., and for a sub., you have a paper with curriculm on it and just "play" w/ the children. It is a very rushed atmosphere.
Check it out for yourself., during the most important times, not just first empressions..

I would not recommend this place. I had an uncomfortable feeling but I still gave it a chance and in the end we did not have a good experience. Everything you can think of is not right with that place. From the overpriced tuition to the low quality of care you will get and not to mention the inattentive teachers that just care about their own child that attends there. There were a few good teachers at one point and they've left except for maybe 2. They hardly did any arts n crafts to bring home and the problem with the curriculum is that they don't follow through with it. I made friends with a parent there and she says the Pre K program did nothing for her child. If you want to take that chance and try it out, then go right ahead. But if your gut is telling you there is something wrong with that place. Listen to that instinct because you're right. Your child will be better off going somewhere else. Your promised such a fun, wonderful and educational experience, but it is not like that at all. Don't be fooled by the "Christian" part of the name either! Sure they may seem nice, but only to your face and they could really care less.

I went to pick up my 2 year old one day & he had a giant knot and bruise on his forehead. I asked what happened & the director told me that he ran into a fence. I said that a fence can't make a bruise that big so she told me he ran into a brick wall. They never once called me during the day to advise me of the incident. They said it was b/c his head was just red when it happened. I reported the incident to licensing the next day and apparently yesterday licensing made a little visit. When I went to pick up my children the owner Mrs. Fish advised me that me and my children were no longer welcome at her school. When I asked why she just kept saying, "You know why". She never gave me a straight answer but I know that it's b/c I called licensing. I DO NOT regret calling licensing on them. That place needs to be cleaned up and shut down. To read my whole story please go to the yellowbot website. For the sake of your child. Please don't make your kids suffer.

sounds as if you were unhappy from the start. if you were so unhappy...why did you stay and complain instead of leave? if that stuff REALLY happened, then id be just as worried about the parent as i would the school

my son has been going to BCAMP for 4 years. He started in pre-school and is now in 2nd grade after school program. The pre-school classes offered were excellent. Everyone ask me how I taught him to read as well as he reads, I have to respond I didn't teach him to read BCAMP did. By the time he started kindergarten he was already reading at a 1st grade level and now he reads at a 4 grade level and I owe it all to the loving staff at BCAMP. This is a school where you know your kid will be treated fair and educated, not baby sat. I don't see a lot of turnover in teachers or kids.

My son loves the school and we are very pleased with the school overall. Every school has a downfall, the bad reviews should not stop anyone for speaking with them. They probly had horrible unbehaved children.

Love the school.

I moved my kids here after my son was hurt due to negligence at his previous school. This staff took care of my kids the way I would have done so. They loved them, but expected discipline from them. They started a preschool program at 3, and I am sure that helped my daughter and son to perform at their current levels. My daughter could read after their PreK 4 year old program. She would go from kindergarten and read to the first graders. My son could read after his PreK program for 4 year olds as well. They love the kids and take care of them. They never made excuses for themselves, if kids got scratched up at school. They could tell me how it happened and when and they had seen it happen. That is all I cared about, was did someone see it happen? I would recommend them to anyone I met - they will keep your kids safe and raise them right.
