Jks Intl Salon

I had a great experience at Jks Salon Basswood from a girl name Jessica S. She really listen to everything I had to say about how i wanted my highlights and haircut. I have had horrible experiences and she just made me feel very comfortable. She also gave me a lot of tips on styling my hair at home and introduced me to all the the products she was using on my hair. I would recommend anyone with cute victoria beckham bobs to def. see her, great with the cut!

I've been going to Betsy at the Basswood JKS Salon for at least 2 years (actually since they opened). She's always on time, NEVER cancels on me and is straight up honest about my hair. And believe me I had some damaged hair when I went the 1st time. Whether it's a cut, color, or perm she tells me what she thinks it will do and when I've tried to self color my own hair she's a pro and fixes it completely so that it's back to a color in nature. I'd recommend going to her for your perms, colors, cuts and anything else BEFORE you attempt to do it yourself, she's great! From customer observation she and Faith seem to be the Rockstars at this location!

I went there one time, because a neighbor of mine said she went there a few times and it was fine. She however has short blonde hair, and I have long dark hair. I paid extra for an "experienced" stylist (I mean, who wants an "inexperienced" one?) and I had my hair colored and cut. The stylist I had seemed young and chatty. When it was done, I looked in the mirror, and my roots for about 2"+ were a different color than my hair! She said..."oh no it's just the lightening in here", so I went into another darker smaller room to look in the mirror, and sure enough, my roots were probably two shades lighter than my hair. She swore it was the lighting and that it was "all one color"...we'll just say it WASN'T and I never went back again. I didn't get any highlights or anything, so I just needed a all over color. I guess you can only be SURE if you get the owner!

Don't believe the hype. i went to Ashley and she is terrible.
I told her not to cut my layers any shorter as I had been growing them out for a year. I asked her to trim them and blend them in with the ends. She cut off four inches on the top layer and there is now a chunk across the middle of my hair and it does not blend in with the rest. She ruined my hair.

I had my first visit with Brianna last weekend for highlights, color, and cut, and she did an awesome job. She gave me suggestions on the tone of my highlights and some changes on my current cut, and I walked out with my hair looking the best it has looked in a long time! I would give her two thumbs up!!!

I recently came into Jks Salon and Chris was my stylist, He paid very close attention to what i wanted and i would recommend him to ANYONE. I believe having him as a stylist at JKS is pure luck for them....

I went to JKs last year on a Saturday morning, and the woman who cut my hair disregarded the picture I brought, rushed through my haircut, and kind of pushed me to the checkout area without a word. I decided I would try it again because the prices are so reasonable, but made sure I picked another sylist. This past time, I had Brant, and he was incredibly personable, really listened to what I was saying, told me that he would do whatever I wanted, but wanted to work with me on what he thought would look best. I really loved my haircut, and the experience, and am going to go to him from now on. The prices are pretty reasonable compared to some salons out there, just make sure you get a good stylist.

So I went out on a limb and went to JKS Salon on Basswood. I brought a picture with me so there would be no confusion in what I wanted. Well she cut way too much off and pretty much just said whoops. Than they overcharged me. I wrote a letter of complaint and they didnt even acknowledge it. Would NEVER go back there or recommend it to ANYONE!

I just got the best haircut of my life from Faith at the Basswood JKS Salon. I have been seriously burned by bad haircuts before, but took a chance and boy, was it worth it! My hair looks just like I had pictured in my mind, and I am very happy about it, so happy that I am taking time out of my life to write this well-deserved positive review! The service was excellent, Faith also went into great detail showing me how to fix my hair from home, and the price was so good, I am going back to get it colored as well! The Salon is immaculately clean, the "vibe" is peaceful and there was no waiting!
UPDATE! I just got my second great haircut from AMY who was just as good as Faith. The owners of this Salon have a real knack for choosing great hair stylists!

I tried JKS Salon because they were so close to my house and when I called to make an appointment they got me in the next day. They have two levels of pricing for a hair cut which they both seemed very reasonable. The decor was very clean contemproary. I was very pleased with my haircut from JKS Salon.

I recently tried the new JKS Salon and was very pleased with the experience. The hairstylist I had was very nice and knowledgeable. She helped me choose the perfect new hairstyle for my activity level and personal taste. She also took the time to show me tricks so that I would be able to fix my hair the same way at home. I am really pleased with the facilities and service of JKS salon!
