We have been going to Copperview for almost 8 years. I'm so utterly disappointed in how it has continually gone downhill. It has gotten to the point that we will wait to be called back about 15 mins past our appointment time, then

I dont know how they are as a pediatrician office but as an instacare, THEY ARE AWFUL!!! I have been in this place several times to just be told ""we are not sure"". After my last experience I will NEVER go in there again nor advise anybody to. I went in there because of my neck. It was swollen on one side and I had a swollen lymph node. NO TESTS were done. The dr came in, looked at my neck, felt around and said, I am just not sure. If it persists, go see your family dr. Then coded it to my insurance as TMJ which will NOT BE COVERED BY MY INSURANCE. I called and asked them to change the coding as that is not what I was diagnosed with and they are refusing! Just dont go here. They take your money and can never tell you what is even wrong anyways. (2 days later I was diagnosed with strep at different office)

I have been going there now for 3 1/2 years. I LOVE this place. I have my husband, daughter, son-in-law, grand-daughter and great-grand daughter going there now too. Great doctors, wonderful staff. I have personally seen Dr. Hollingsworth and he is so nice and actually cares about you. All the staff is so nice!\r\nI have referred many people here and their experiences have been great as well.

Despite really actually liking Dr. Paul Lei (pediatrician) and Dr. Mary Tipton, I have to say most of the doctors, NPs and PAs at this office are iffy at best, and dangerous at worst.\n\nI've had one NP there tell me I should be at church praying to get better instead of there to get medication on a Sunday. If you're going to be open on a Sunday then your doctors really shouldn't go around saying things like that to patients who come in that day!\n\nAnother PA my husband I and both saw repeatedly always seemed to think that we were depressed and kept asking if we wanted anti-depressants. Which we weren't depressed by any means.\n\nBut worse than that was a Dr. (Dr. Nabi) who I saw when I came in complaining of dizziness, vertigo, and my nose and face tingling for weeks (I tried to see Dr. Tipton, but she was out on maternity leave). Dr. Nabi didn't check my reflexes, didn't listen to my heart or lungs, didn't check my pupils or any of my sensations. He didn't ask me to move any of my limbs at all, and the only question he even asked me was what I did for a living. Then he proceeded to tell me my nose was tingling due to it being cold outside, that my arm was tingling due to a pulled muscle that I didn't have and I was dizzy because I was dehydrated (which I wasn't).\n\nI left the office frustrated and upset. I went to another doctor at another clinic (Dr. Dennis Hamp who was wonderful, BTW!) - turns out I actually have multiple sclerosis and Dr. Nabi was either too ignorant to know the signs of it, or too lazy to care to do any testing for such a serious condition. The state medical board heard from me about this doctor. \n\nAvoid this place - or at least request one of the few good doctors that are there.

Pros: The hours

Cons: Some truly horrible doctors

I had another doctors office that I routinely go to. My daughter was very, very ill one night and I had to get her in somewhere. I was referred by my neighbor to come here because of their extended night/weekend hours. I was so impressed with the office staff, nurses and doctor that the next Monday I called my doctors office and transferred my familys records to Copperview Medical Center. Since then, my family has been seen a handful of times and been impressed every time.\r\nNice place, great staff/doctors--so helpful and nice.\r\nThe only thing I wish is my old doctors office had a vending machine and they don't.?..that was kind of nice.

I have been going to Copperview Medical Center for many years, about 9 and a half now. I have always been very pleased with our care as long as we see ANY (they are all great) of their doctors and most of their PA's and NP's (I especially like Kevin). I personally see mainly Dr Mary Tipton (who is amazing by the way). I started going to this clinic because Dr. Lei (who is also wonderful) has a specialty in Neonatology and did his residency in a NICU, having a severly premature baby at the time, I really appreciated this experience for pediatric care for my infant daughter, she is nine now. I LOVE the convenient hours because so many times our kids get sick at odd hours and they are wonderful to get you in same day and even have walk-in options with longer then normal and even weekend office hours. I would and have recommended this facility. I own Little Learners Academy, a preschool in the area and I know many of my students families go here as well. It is important to find the best fit for you and your family. I have 6 children and have had many good experiences over the years going to this doctors office!\n** I have seen some critical comments on this citysearch reviews but I can say that many of them seem to have gone off one experience or sounds like they must have seen a less qualified care provider.

Cons: Some staff not as qualified.

I got my H1N1 vaccine from there.\r\nGreat staff. Great providers. Very nice and efficient.\r\nI would only recommend getting an appointment as sometimes walk-in waits are long.\r\nI would recommend (and have) to any of my friends!

This is the worst medical center I have ever worked with. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! Two years after they claim we missed an appointment they sent our $25.00 account to collections. We moved 8 months before the appointment. Our mailing address had a forward for over a year. If they would have sent any notice, we would have received it. Missy was unhelpful and rude. Copperview Medical Center is a very poor running company. \r\n

This place always only tells us oh you be fine it just need to run it course. They never treat they just take the co-payment and insurance money. You practically have to fight for a prescription and if you do get one. This place stinks.

I have been going to CopperView Medical Center now for over 5 years. Everything/Everybody is wonderful from the scheduling receptionist, billing and especially the providers. They have a nice waiting room. Great location for me. I personally see Dr. Hollingsworth, but have seen many nurse practitioners and physician assistants that are also so great. When I call for an appointment, they can always do same day appointments with any provider, but if I want my appointment with Dr. Hollingsworth I can usually get in within just a couple days, to a week max. I have also gone in as a walk-in without an appointment and they have gotten me right in with minimal wait time. They are open 365 days a year, which has been great when my family needs to be seen late at night or on the weekends and even holidays. I started going for myself, but shortly found out they also see kids and now my entire family goes there. I have never really had a ""major"" problem, but when issues do arrise the administration/billing is quick to help and resolve the problem. I would and have recommened CopperView to many friends and family....all of which have been very pleased themselves with this facility and their services.

Pros: Excellent care, great providers, wonderful staff, nice waiting room with nice patient rooms, usually very little to no wait in the waiting room

.

Phones constantly ring off the hook, and although the staff seem to be well-mannered, appearance is often unprofessional, with visible tattoos, facial jewelry, etc. Billing is courteous in that they wait for your insurance to fully process before sending you an actual bill, but then their billing service (Physicians Billing) will send you a delinquency notice with that first bill. If a billing inacurracy arises, they are slow to be resolved. They seem to like to recommend unnecessary tests, and they you get a bill from a lab you've never heard of, wondering if it's for real. Waiting room is very large with big-screen TV and nice furniture.

I am a medical student myself, so I feel I am able to give a fair assessment of the type of service this medical clinic provides. I would never recommend this place--in fact, if it wasn't the ONLY place my insurance will allow me to go, I would never go back.\r\n\r\nThe first time I went to this clinic with a rash, the physician looked at my skin then brought a dermatological book into the room and basically asked me to diagnose myself by showing me a picture (which looked vaguely like my rash) and asking, ""Do you think you have this?"" She then prescribed me a topical cream that did not work and told me that I would probably have to continue using the cream for life, because there was nothing more she could do to treat it.\r\n\r\nThe second visit at this clinic was worse. I experienced a reaction to a vaccine I was given. When I came back to get the reaction treated, I was told by the nurse practitioner that she thought it was just a mild reaction to the injection site, and I should take ibuprophen for the pain and let it heal itself. She then told me she wanted to get the lead medical assistant's opinion. The medical assistant took a look and said she thought I had cellulitis, a much more serious condition, and recommended antibiotics. The nurse practitioner then changed her mind and decided to treat my condidtion as cellulitis. I went to pick up the prescription for the antibiotics and found out that it had never been called in.\r\n\r\nI can look past the dingy office and the aloof attitudes of most of the staff, but I feel like the care at this clinic is borderline negligent.\r\n\r\n

My husband and I have been going to Copperview Medical Center for more than 6 years. We moved out of state for a year and half and missed this facility. They are open everyday of the year and have long hours during the week and open on weekends. How many of us or our kids get sick on a convenient week day? They have the great pediatrician, Dr. Lei and all his assistants have been outstanding. We have referred many friends and family to this facility and will continue to do so. If our kids get sick we can call and get in the same day, usually with the PA, but with a couple days notice we can usually see the doctor. They have a large waiting room, have a pediatrician and a few family doctors. All are nice and do a fantastic job!!!!

The 1st time I went to Copperview, my tonsils were SO inflamed they were bleeding. The Dr did a strep test that came back negative. He told me ""Well that looks REALLY painful; you should try taking some Tylenol for the pain and come back in 2-3 days if it still hurts"". I ended up going to the hospital after not being able to eat/talk for 2 days where I found out I had abscess?s behind my tonsils and needed them removed. The next time I went back, I had such horrible pain in my ovaries for over a week that I couldn?t sleep/eat/walk with out being very uncomfortable due to the pain. The Dr had me take a UTI test where she handed me a paper with a bunch of letters and #?s like I knew what it meant. There was no infection, so they prescribed me Ibuprofen 800mg to stop the pain, and told me if I still had pain for 3-5 more days to come back. I ended up going to an OBGYN specialist who said Copperview Medical should have taken tests, did a sonogram, or ANYTHING besides just a UTI test so he could have seen if there was anything.
