My dog cut his foot so I took him in to get it stitched up. When I got him home he started bleeding badly through his bandage. While changing the bandage found they did not sew up one of the gashes in his foot. Called them to let them know of the incompetent job and was told that Dr. Tiller wanted to charge me extra to fix it. You would think he would be more concerned about fixing a batched up job. Will only take my dogs here for very minor things. Seems to be more about the money than the quality of care given to his furry clients.

I think very highly of Dr.Tiller and his staff. I've been going there for years the Vet Techs are great and the office staff is very good and VERY VERY busy BUT if you're kind and patient with them then they are with you, I've never seen them be rude to anyone but I've seen them have to deal with some impatient or rude people. I'm always nice and considerate to them and they are to me, they smile and call me by name when I come in the clinic. I've called Dr.Tiller at home atleast twice, one time he gave me direction on what to do the second time he met me at 8:00pm at the clinic because my had been hit by a car turned out to be no big deal, Thank God he was ok and Thank God Dr.Tiller was there for me. Not to even mention there prices are very good. Some times my bill is less then $15.00. Thank you to all the staff at Tiller Vet Clinic for ALL you do,

DO NOT take your small animals to this vet!!! We used this clinic for a number of years and they were never really able to get our dogs better. Then recently, one of them needed surgery to remove a mass and we immediately scheduled it and brought him in. The next day we pick him up and it looks 10 times worse than before. We call the vets and ask what happened and they say it's just swelling. The next day it's three times the size it was the day before. So, I take him to a different vet and they examine him and aren't really sure what had been done earlier in the week. We then schedule a new surgery and take him in to have it removed for real this time. Now my dog is old and I wasn't pleased that he had to go under anesthesia twice in a 7 day period but thankfully everything went great and this other vet was able to actually help my dog. My dog is back to his vibrant, happy self now!!!!

The whole point of the story is that, Tiller is known for being good with large/farm animals. Everyone that asked who I took my dog to...every time I said Tiller, they just gave me the ohhhhhh you idiot look. Everyone knows him and refers to him as "Tiller the Killer". Sadly, I didn't realize that until now. Do not make the same mistake as me or the other people that are telling their bad experiences. He has official malpractice and negligence rulings against him for numerous incidents. Don't let your precious animal be a victim of Tiller the Killer!!!

I love Dr. Tillers office. Whenever we can manage we always go on certain days to get a certain vet, Dr. Mark. He's caring and actually listens to you and takes great care of your pet. When my cat was poisoned we rushed him to the clinic and an older gentleman (wasn't Tiller) told us what was needed to do and took him back for treatment but he didn't make it :( They weren't able to even get blood to try to find out what he had got into before he passed away :( I don't blame them at all for his death, they tried to do what they could but the poison was just too much for him. This clinic is great, I've never personally met Dr. Tiller so I don't know about him but they have some other great vets there!

I have mixed feelings. I think Dr Tiller is great but not sure about the other vets there. I definitely would not leave my dog there over night. The one time I did when I picked him up he was stinky, and dying of thirst panting. It was summer and I think he had had no water for I don't know how long. He was left over the weekend because they said they had to keep him until Monday to treat an infected wound. I do say when my dog was attacked by a large dog Dr Tiller came up there straight away on Super bowl Sunday to meet me and care for my dog. My dog was horribly attacked and required lots of stitches. He recovered fine. They are a cheap vet as far as cost. Anything other than routine shots or stuff I wouldn't go there though. I find the staff to be friendly, just sometimes overwhelmed and busy.

Dr. Tiller is very nice. Can't say the same about his staff. That's too bad. They drive business away. Maybe when it hits his pocketbook he will get better people in there to help.

Dr. Tiller is a great vet! great staff also! My dog fell down some stairs at my parents in Waskom at 5;45 PM. He stayed late to put her dislocated shoulder back in place and then didn't even charge me. He gave her something for pain also. She will be 15 years old next moth and she loves Dr. Tiller!! His prices are so much lower that I take her there from southeast Shreveport! My kids love to go to Dr. Tiller's, they get to visit all the other animals.

I have two 100 pound labs and they both got heart worms and were given the correct treatments and were essentially saved. If you can find another vet to show the care for the price that Tiller will give, please let me know.

I had a dog that I took to him and he automatically said that my 3 pound puppy that I had just bought had parvo. He talked to me about putting him to sleep immediately. Then when I said what are my other options, he said we could put him on fluids for 35 dollars a day. When I kept calling to check on my dog from work, I finally got told after the 7th day that if I thought I could do a better job that I was welcome to come pick him up and that I can't be calling two times a day to check on my dog. They said I was making them mad calling to check on my dog. This made me mad, and I went to the bank to withdraw the 35 dollars a day times 7 days to take to them to pick up my dog and take him somewhere else. When I got there, they were mad that I was going to get my dog and decided that since they never wrote down the 35 dollars a day that they would increase the charges to 75 dollars a day, and they said they would not relesase my dog without all of the money. I was willing to pay them what I had brought and bring them the rest the next week when I got it. I just was not prepared to pay the extra money that day. We called the cops and finally got my dog released to me because you can't hold a dog hostage for money- it is just like a patient in a hospital. When I took him to the new vet smelling terrible of pee and covered in poop, the new vet tested him and said that he did not have parvo but had an intestinal parasite instead. They then reported Tiller for keeping my dog when he was not infact sick with what they said he had and charging me lots for it. The new doctor took the IV cathater out of his arm (my 3 pound puppy) that they said was big enough for a full grown german shepard! Tiller was doing nothing but killing my dog! The new vet gave my dog a few shots and sent him home with him. I took my dog back to him for like 3 days in a row, and my dog was fine! OHHHH I forgot to mention that after I had picked up my dog from tiller with an inital weigh in of 3 pounds, he was down to 2 pounds!!!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont take your pet to Dr. Tiller!!!!!!
