Origami Japanese Cuisine

It's great to be able to get good sushi right here in Round Rock. The wait staff are just lovely. You can tell it's family run. We always feel so welcome. The sushi is really good. Not such fancy presentation as you might get elsewhere but tastes wonderful. I wish they would cut the sashimi in bigger chunks though - it's sooo good! One side of the restaurant is decked out in traditional Japanese style, but we usually just sit at the normal tables. The sushi bar is small and intimate and the sushi chefs seem very chatty.

PROS: Sushi, staff, convenient
CONS: Not open on Sundays, hard to forget it's a strip mall

This is of my top 3 restaurants! The wait staff couldn't be better. I have never been up to the sushi bar, but from what I have seen from a distance it looks like a blast. The food is amazing as well. I first went for lunch in 2003 and have been hooked ever since. I have never had a wait here either, I think it is because most people don't know about it or don't like sushi. The atmosphere is very classy, I would feel a bit embarrassed going here with a t-shirt on, but the wait staff probably would treat you just as wonderfully.
