I have been back to the New Market Square Bella Luna four times now and I have yet to try something I did not like. The atmosphere is beautiful, although it can be pretty noisy. You will definitely miss out if you don't start with the hummus, I hear the hummus schwarma is great too, but have yet to try it. They have a large selection of appetizers, a few soups, salads, sandwiches, and a wide variety of steaks and pastas. They also have a wide selection of wine.

The best sandwich is definitely the chicken schwarma. I have tried the fattoush salad and chicken salad (actual chicken salad on a bed of lettuce) and was pleased with both. I also recommend the falafel as a vegetarian dish. Other recommendations are the cream of mushroom soup, chicken salad sandwich, and for a side either the French fries or pasta salad. Cole slaw is also an option, but since I am not a fan to begin with, I can't recommend it. The food is also great warmed up a day or two later as a leftover lunch or dinner.

Most of the time, you wait to be seated, but when it isn't crowded at all, you may be told to seat yourself as that usually means they don't have many waitresses on the floor. Only once have I been there and had to wait more than 15 minutes for a table and that was on a Friday night so that was understandable.

The worst service was a Sunday afternoon, it wasn't crowded, but our service was still pretty slow. Very friendly service overall. The Friday night we went, they had a full staff, but it was plain to see that the waitresses were all quick on their feet trying to keep all their tables satisfied. Our waitress didn't let our waters get less than half full the entire time. Little detail, but pretty impressive.

Pros: Fresh, tasty food.

Cons: For such a popular place, it needs to be larger.

I would never recommend such a dissatisfing experience. The service was great until the manager decided to yell at the server at our table. How unprofessional?!? Nonetheless, the manager was not only dressed unprofessionally in sweat pants and a ball cap but she was yelling at the server in front of tables when, in our opinion, she had done nothing wrong. Furthermore, the chicken shawarma, that so many of my friends had recommended, tasted aweful!!! I will never eat there again and will definately recommend alternative restaurants to my friends. Overall it was a disappointment. Don't waste your money.

Pros: almost good food

Cons: poor management or whoever it was yelling at our server while she was on the floor!!!

The Hummus is grand and their house salad is bellissimo! Very busy at lunch time at Bradley Fair location during the week (Call in your to-go order well in advance if you don't want to wait awhile). Wait Staff at Rock Road location (as usual for any restaurant) have to multi-task and during the busy lunch hour you might wait for a refill a little too long. I'd like to see them keep their current locations but open a 3rd location that has a quieter more romantic evening atmosphere. I usually go to the College Hill location on central on weekends

Pros: Inexpensive, Nice Decor

Cons: Crowded

I went to the location on Rock Road. The service was awful. It was at lunch time and got there before the rush. Which wasn't too bad considering how small the place is. I never got a refill on my drink. Asked once and the waitress said she would be right back and never came back. Was pretty much ignored the whole time we were there. And the food was very bland. No distinct flavor at all. Although they were very prompt with the bill. Too bad I couldn't say anything else was as good.
