Anyone reading these reviews please note that one is 8 years old. The other is 4 years old. I am just here to state that Aamco Brockton is under new ownership and new management. You will never be told you need something you don't, never over charged and I as the owner of 4 Aamco shops in the area will stand behind all the repairs we complete. We will perform our multi-point inspection at no charge, tow you here for free, finance your repair with no interest charges and I will even pay for your rental car on a major repair. Of course, please call us at 508-580-5431 for details. I hope your car doesn't need a major repair, but if it does we are here for you no matter what type of repair you need.

Do not use this for any auto repair labor is$90 per hour they also keep trying to sell you more parts than necessary and when they quote a price on a part somehow or other they seem to have you pay more. I asked for my old parts and they never gave them to me .

Stay clear of this location at all cost!!!

My boyfriend had mistakenly stripped the screw that holds the caliper to the brakes on the passenger side of my car. It may sound complicated as it first did to me and I anticipated that this would cost big bucks. I brought it to the Aamco on Oak street where I simply asked that they replace the screw.

They insisted that this was impossible to do and that I needed new brakes, rotars and a caliper that would cost me upwards of $480 just for one side and that it was against "the code" to put a band aid on the problem and that I would have to sign a waiver...

At this point I realized that I was being "had" because I had gotten brand new brakes, calipers and rotars several years earlier from American Brake Service in Taunton for the entire front of the car and only cost me $540.
To make a long story short, I brought the car to Sconi's in Brockton where they gave me a whole new brake, rotar & caliper, tune up and oil change all for less than $200. I haven't had a problem since!

Bottom line is, don't believe the hype. Always seek a second opinion. I did and it saved me over $200 of my hard earned money!
