For two adults, one child - horrible experience. This place should receive 1/2 star only because we did not get food poisoning from it afterwards! The service was horrible, and we witnessed waiters arguing among themselves. We received our food late - the quesadilla dish I ordered was mushy, served with translucent iceberg lettuce and not much else. My friend's burger had iceberg lettuce and anemic tomatoes on it, my child had ribs COVERED with barbecue sauce that just barely made it edible. There was only one couple there, yet they showed us a table that was unlit - we got up and sat in a better lit booth area. The carpets were dark, probably filthy, and musty smelling, the decor is awful - poor taste, no real theme. The lighting was dim, which lent a dreary atmosphere to the bickering waiters. Our bill was equally horrendous - bad food, bad service, probably filthy decor - we did not dare visit the restroom. We used hand sanitizer liberally and made a promise to ourselves that we will never visit again - it needs to be shut down by developers and the health department! I ate here years ago, same location, and I remember that it was just as bad then. You are better off with a pretzel and a bottle of water from a local street vendor. I should have gone with original instincts - walk the extra block to a nicer restaurant that is double the price but well worth it. This place has zero value. I've been to TGIF in Sausalito, CA - amazing experience, and one on Long Island a few times, good experience. Don't waste your time on this one - I'm a native NY'r and I don't think it's nice to treat natives OR tourists this way.

This is the worst Friday's I have ever been to. Especially at the front bar and the back bar , Please check your bar tab EACH time you order food or drink and be sure to ask what is on special(drink or food). Check your tab often to see if they charged you the regular price(often) or accuse / charge you for more drinks than you really had , especially if there is a group of you laughing and talking and not watching bartender, he makes you think he is buying back a round of drinks when in effect he is charging you.

If you go to a TGI Friday's in Manhattan expect to pay about $6 - $8 more per entree than you would pay anywhere else. These prices are not unusual for restaurants in Manhattan. However, the quality of the food and the poor service makes this restaurant a poor value.

When I went to the restaurant with some colleagues from work, we received very poor service. The wait staff was inattentive and could not keep track of our order. The food also took an unusually long time to arrive at our table, especially considering that we all ordered a lunch special.

The food was okay. It's on par with the food from any other national chain restaurant. My meal was tasty, but nothing to write home about.

This restaurant is a good choice for tourists who don't know any local restaurants in the area, but I would not recommend this restaurant to any native New Yorkers

Pros: Quick Seating, Wide Selection of Food

Cons: Poor Service, Expensive Food

This was the first time I had eaten at TGI Fridays...it will also be the last time I eat at TGI Fridays. Burgers served on stale buns, cold fries, dry chicken fingers, cold soup (french onion, not gespachio) and to top it off $27 each for one course with a drink.

I would go next door to Annie Moores & get good food served warm!

I've been to this TGIF before - I work a block away. I've been to others as well. I went with 2 coworkers for lunch on Wednesday, 8/8/07. We arrived about 1 PM & ordered our drinks & food. It took about 20 minutes to just receive water & another 20 minutes to receive the drinks we ordered. Bear in mind that we only have an hour for lunch. The waitress was new & didn;t have a strong command of the English language. When I asked if they had gravy for the mashed potatoes that came with my order, she didn't understand what "gravy" was...Hello??? I ordered the Jack Daniels ribs - they come with potatoes & a choice of soup or salad. I requested the Caesar salad, which should be served before the meal. My order was served without the salad or the Jack Daniel sauce that's supposed to come with the ribs.. When I asked for the Caesar salad, the lettuce was warm & limp, & was served WITH the meal - I returned it & never got another salad. I then had to ask for the JD sauce. I finally got so fed up that I asked for the manager - his demanor was less than entusiastic. He didn't seem to care about the abundance of screw ups. I insisted that he take money off of our bill - which he did. But that wasn't the point - I wanted to enjoy my lunch with my coworkers. Needless to say, I WILL NEVER go back to this particular TGIF's - I feel this particular location needs a complete overhaul - from the manager on down. My past experience with TGIF's has been very positive - this one seems to be an anomaly. In [2] words - DON'T GO...there's a slew of other restaurants in the area which are very good.

I normally love TGI Friday's but this place was the worst. We went at around 1:30pm when lunch time tends to die down and we didnt get out of there until after 3:00pm. Our waiter was non existent, the food was cold and they got our orders wrong and on top of that the prices were double what they normally are in the rest of the country. Avoid this place at all costs!!

It is RIDICULOUS how terrible this place is. The prices are Times Square worthy, but incredibly overpriced for food that tastes like doo doo. The staff has been rude and impolite too many times to get another visit out of me again. The food is microwaved, I swear to it.

Our bill was $52 for two drinks and two appetizers. We couldn't finish any of it because the appetizers were overcooked and the drinks were straight cheap liquor. Bad idea. If you're hungry and nothing else is open in the area (as we were), go hungry.

I've been to many great T.G.I. Friday's in my time, but this is NOT one of them. The atmosphere is fun like most T.G.I's, but the food and service was awful. I was suprised by the quality of food since I've always enjoyed dining in other T.G.I's, but so far, I don't recommend any of the one's in New York (Manhattan). Thankfully, the mudslide (which they were out of the first time I went) was amazing the second time (when they actually had them again.) I'm sorry, but how can you be "out of mudslides" on a Friday night! Very disappointing.

In Short
Entering the clean, bright interior is like stepping into an "Archie" comic book. Hurrying across white- and black-checkered floors, staff in crisp white shirts and paper hats take orders, polish chrome and shuffle…
