5 Stars: Inspirations Tea Room is my favorite! (by Shelley D.)

Inspirations Tea Room is just a delight from the moment you walk through the door - you're greeted warmly and shown to your beautifully appointed table and quickly catered to regarding what you'd like to drink. Their tea selection is really super - the Vanilla Iced Tea is my usual, but I've ventured out and had the hot teas when it's not so warm outside. I've hosted a baby shower at the Tea Room, as well as shared a special lunch with friends several times over the course of Inspirations' existence and each time have been more than pleased with not only the yummy food, but the truly beautiful presentation. It's where I choose when I really want to pamper or be pampered. My husband and my daughters have also taken advantage of the Father's Day Tea - it was a really special memory. And, to top it off - my husband and I love the Two Heart Inn (the B&B located next to the Tea Room - talk about ROMANTIC!). I highly recommend Inspirations for any special occasion or just to make any occasion special! Just a little note: the glassed-in patio can get a little noisy when it's full (especially on Saturdays) with large parties...if this is a concern, you might ask to be seated up front or next to the gazebo, where the noise seems to be less.

5 Stars: An Inspiration... (by Marcia H.)

Inspirations is a marvelous experience. It is a respite from the busy world. The food is delicious; the gift shop is wonderful; and the aura is worth the trip. I have been there twice and recommend it enthusiastically to everyone I know. It is one of my favorite places.

5 Stars: A Very Special Place (by Rose B.)

I have been to Inspirations Tea Room twice and both experiences have been wonderful! The first visit was with my sister and friend and it was the perfect place for a girls' lunch date. The second visit was with a group of co-workers, including 2 men and everyone loved it. The scones and lemon curd are to die for....try to resist the urge to lick the lemon curd out of the cute little teacup serving pieces! The restaurant is very girlie and flowery in the decor and would be the perfect backdrop for a bridal or baby shower. The gift shop is chocked full of teas and tea accessories but also features candles, cards and an eclectic mix of gifts ideas. For lunch the trio plate is a great value and I pray that the next time I go that they're serving the tomato basil soup...it was the best I've ever tasted! I can't wait to take my Mom there when she visits from out of town.

5 Stars: My daughter and I are still talking about it weeks later! (by Paulette M.)

I took my 11-year old daughter with me to Inspirations Tea Room and it's one of the best times we've had together in awhile. We really LOVED the food! And the service was outstanding...we were taken care of and pampered. The atmosphere was delightful, relaxing, beautiful. The prices were very reasonable. We've decided to treat ourselves every few months. Thank you for everything!

1 Stars: Disappointing (by Elizabeth G.)

We visited the tea house in January and it was wonderful. . . so wonderful that we decided to hold a little girls birthday party at your establishment. We scheduled a couple of months in advance. Needless to say, our waitress, one waitress for 22 people, was rude, she brought our "iced tea" out initially after she REFUSED to serve us hot tea off the menu and we never saw her again until she brought out our measly serving of food that was not enough, and when we asked for more food we were refused even after our offer to pay extra for more food. We didn't see her again for drink refills of our iced tea or any service (15 min. before our party was up) until we inquired about the birthday cake (in which she forgot) and was she about to refuse that service until another waitress told her we paid for the cake. To top the whole event off, our waitress told one of my guests, (MY GUESTS WHOM I INVITED), that we needed to go pay our ticket. I was extremely embarrased when I heard this. They offered no explanations for the lousy service, the measly meal or the refusal to serve us hot tea. Well, they did tell us they serve one tray for six people even though while leaving we saw a table with six people seated with two trays. That would have been well and good except for the fact that the trays were measly. Our experience in January offered trays that were packed full of fruits (oranges, strawberries, grapes), oodles of quiche, sandwiches of four different varieties and large slices of cheescake on top, many small cakes throughout the tray, including many many scones with lemon custard. Our tray for the birthday party had grapes, three sandwich varieties (enough for maybe two sandwiches a piece for six women), and about 10 of those little 1" X 1" frosted cakes, four chocolate covered strawberries, two cookies and three scones with lemon custard (Mainly the tray was packed with large bunches of grapes to fill the space). I would like to come back again because I loved it the first time and it would be grest to see that these things are made better but I will NEVER hold a party at your establishment again and while I might recommend for a lunch for two I will not recommend you for a party. It was expensive, and while we never once complained about the price even at the register while we paid our party, but we DID NOT get what we paid for not even close.

5 Stars: Perfect for some catching up! (by Rebecca M.)

I'm at college several hours away from my home town of Edmond, but I always try to find something special to do with each member of my family when I come in. I decided to try this for an outing with my mom, since we're both big on tea and had just gone to England together the year before. Everything was PERFECT!!! The food was so good we both stuffed ourselves, especially the spreads and the deserts. We had a full tea tray, they serve you two of each thing, and it is MORE than enough for two people. It's not 'cheap', but its not pricey either, and the experience is worth every dollar.

5 Stars: Relaxing atmosphere (by L D.)

Excellent staff makes guests feel welcome, and the relaxing pace is a wonderful get-away from the daily rush. I've eaten here twice, and both times ordered the trio, with different options. Although I wasn't wild about the quiche, there is so much more to enjoy -- fresh salads and fruit, good chicken salad, great coconut cake!

5 Stars: WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE (by Pat B.)

I have had the pleasure of eating at Inspirations several times and I have NEVER been disappointed. Their food is just delicious and they have such a variety on the menu. I love the atmosphere and that they always have that extra effort in presentation. That just makes the experience all the more special. When I want to take someone special to lunch, I always think first of Inspriations. And the attitude of ALL the employees is ALWAYS professional but personal. They always put forth that special attention to the customers and details. I just want to say THANK YOU for providing this special place for us to be able to go to. Thanks.

5 Stars: It's like a dream come true... (by Teri B.)

In the midst of all the hustle and bustle of life, Inspirations is a breath of fresh air. As soon as you enter, all your worries are left at the door. Whether you are meeting your best friend for lunch or throwing a bridal shower, Inspirations is the perfect place. The owners, Larry and Tammy, have a heart to embrace and encourage every person who enters. It is so evident in every little detail. They take everything to the next step...from edible flowers and encouraging scripture found on each delicious dish, more tea selection than anywhere around, and the best deserts (try the coconut cake...its my favorite and I usually am not a big fan of coconut). If that is not enough, the bed and breakfast says it all. Each different suite takes you into a different world. Forget vacationing...just spend a night in each room and you'll feel as if you've visited a different country every evening(we'll just consider "Chic" a country). Every room includes a jacuzzie tub, flat panel TV, and a fireplace(in most). Pictures and words don't do it justice! You'll just have to experience it for yourself.
