Avancia hair salon is amazing! I have been going there for 2 and half years and would not think about going anywhere else. Not only do they have the best stylists they treat you as a friend from the moment you walk in the door. I can bet my life on it if you give them a try you will not be disappointed and I guarentee you will go back over and over again!

I used to never have a regular hairdresser, so I just went from salon to salon randomly. However, when I went to Avancea for the first time, I had found my new hair salon. They have done updos for proms and regular haircuts, and I always come out very satisfied. I am now a regular customer and look forward to getting my hair done. The friendly atmosphere and exceptional cut are very much worth a trip to Avancea salon.

A true master of her craft! I have been seeing Stephanie since her debut into the hair styling industry and have never looked back. She continues to amaze me with her perfect hair stylings and the friendliest service you have ever had. I have recommended several people, both men and women, to Stephanie and all have come back with raving reviews. We all started off as customers and have now become close friends and loyal fans. Her staff is very knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly... personable. I would highly recommend making an appointment today. I guarantee that you too will not look back!

I have always had a hard time finding someone that could give me a hair cut that I liked. Well when I met Stephanie back in 2002/2003 when she was working in Stoneham had finally found the hair stylist that I had been looking for. When I went for my first hair cut with her I felt completly comfortable and trusted her right away, when she asked what I was looking for I told her to do what she thought might work for best for me. And let me tell you it was the best hair cut I had ever had. I have been going to her ever since. I love going to her salon everyone there is friendly and professional. I will never go anywhere else. I consider Stephanie not only the best stylist but a good friend.

I have followed Steph for years. Since I met her in 2002 I have not let anyone else touch my hair. My hair is curly, and very few people know how to cut it- I either end up with a cut that makes me look like a tent or I end up with an huge ball of frizz. She also cuts my mom's hair and my best friend's hair (both pin straight). And when I need my hair done up for a special occasion I let her do what she wants, and it is always amazing. At this point I have converted everyone in my family and most of my friends in the area to go to Avancea.

I have followed Stephanie for over 5 years, and have traveled from Swampscott to Wakefield every week since she opened her own salon back in 2005. She has kept her clients throughout the years and there is reason for that. When you find someone who does your hair the way you like it, you stick with them. I am so proud of what she has accomplished in opening her own salon. To me, it is well worth the travel, even with kids in tow! Her salon keeps me coming back because of their professional service and friendly, clean environment. Her expertise in hair coloring is always individualized to her clients needs, and all of the staff there keeps up to date with the latest hair care products and styles. My 5 year old son gets his hair cut by Cassandra and gets so excited to go and wear their sea creature cape, he truely loves going to get a buzz cut! I highly recommend this salon, you won't be disappointed!

I was devastated when my last hairdresser had to move away however it turned out to be the best thing ever!! I now have the BEST hairdresser EVER right at the end of my street. I was most nervous to have someone new expressing themselves on my hair, however she sat me down, talked about what I wanted and she made me look better than I could have ever imagined. She was quick, efficient, and did an excellent job! Her prices are more than fair to compensate for her experience and knowledge. The salon is beautiful and all remodeled, looks great! If you're looking for a reasonably priced haircut that will make you look gorgeous, go to Avancea and ask for Steph!

My experience at Avancea was invigorating. I felt welcomed in a personable environment. Upon entering the salon, I was greeted with warmth and accommodation. The stylists who work at Avancea are professional, skilled, and give great consultations, listening to what their clients want and informing them of their options. The haircuts and colors received at this salon are modern, chic, and beautiful. The best salon ever. If you are looking a new funky hair cut and color you have come to the right place. The salon atomsphere is great!! Very friendly but very professional. Prices are very good too! Product selection is ample. Everyone at the salon is friendly and very easy to talk to too. You feel like family when you are there.

I can't say enought about it.

I first walked into the Avancea hair salon about a year ago, desperate for someone to cut my hair. To my luck Stephanie (the owner) squeezed me in, and I haven't left since as she did a wonderful job. She not only is great at coloring, styling, and cuts, but is also extremely personable and friendly. The salon itself is very clean, and offers great services! The other stylists there are also extremely kind and aim at making the customer feel very comftorable.

I usually get my haircut in Los Angeles (because that's where I live), but I came home to Massachusetts to visit my family. I needed a haircut and had heard great things about this cool salon in the center of Wakefield. I attempted a walk-in and was met with a really sweet girl at the desk. When I told them I just needed a trim, the owner, Stephanie, was gracious to fit me in and give me a cut. She did a great job with my hair. She even styled it great afterwards. Which is tough because usually I'll leave a salon and have to restyle it afterwards. Great cut, great vibe....quick but not rushed. I wish Avancea was in LA!!!

My girlfriend recently got a cut and color at Avancea. Not only were the prices reasonable, but the work was impeccable. They really know what they are doing there. The location was great as well and parking was easy. I would definately reccomend this to anybody.

I just moved into the area and I needed a hair cut, so I went around scoping out the freshest looking storefronts - because God help me if I get a drab, lame cut rather than something fun and chique - and found myself walking in to Avancea. As soon as I got there, my stylist had a little consultation with me about what I wanted. I asked for something really different and she nailed it. I love this cut, I loved Stephanie, and I loved the price. I will definitely be back again!

I just stopped in here the other day as I was walking down the street. I haven't actually had a haircut or style here, but I purchased a hair product (as I scoped them out.) The place is clean, bright, and smells good. When I made my purchase, they were friendly to me. They are moderately priced, and I think I would feel safe going here for a service such as a haircut. It is a cool little salon!
