Wow, there's more going on at OUSC than when I started going there in 1998. My husband is now attending classes again and is doing very well. As for myself, I have attended classes on and off since high school graduation.

I used to think the branch was an extension of high school. I mean, I went to Ironton High School and a lot of our exams such as the twelfth grade proficiency test were taken in Bowman Auditorium. Some of my classes were rather small and it seemed like the instructors didn't take their jobs as seriously as they would had they been at Marshall or something like that.

Now, in my most recent classes that I have taken at OU, I find a different atmosphere than when I first went there. The facility has expanded, the student body is bigger, there's so much more going on. It inspires me to finish my degree as soon as I find an occupation that will give me the time. It actually excites me to see this big college atmosphere in this small town of 11,000.

They have tons of community events, programs for students, and so much more. My husband is doing great, really likes his instructors, and I have OU to think for the future of our household.

I encourage anyone to look into what they have and further your education.

My complaint: Parking is horrible on certain days.

PROS: Teaching Staff, Programs, Facilities, growth
CONS: Parking.
