My toddler was bit more than 10 times in less than 3 months. When I lost count of how many times my child was truly bitten because many of the bites went unreported by the daycare. The director, Stacie W., made a lot of bottomless promises

Kidopolis is a great center. It's a smaller center, so there is more time for the teachers to have 1 0n 1 time with the children. My kids have been going there since 2005 and I have never had any problems. The staff is friendly and really care about the kids.

Pros: cozy atmosphere. Small center.

I was at Andrews Park today and a man came over asking me and teachers from a small day care if we drove one of the white vans in the parking lot because a little girl was in there crying. Not only was it disturbing to me that one of their children was left in the car but neither one of the teachers of the Kidopolis van jumped up when aware of this fact. The small day care teacher actually said "Don't you think you should go get her?!?" Then one of the two teachers walked over and took the girl from the man who was walking her across the bridge. She said "I thought she got out with the other kids". Some of the other children had already finished their lunches at the point at which a man walking to his car found a girl crying in an unlocked van in the heat of summer. I know I was not the only one disturbed by their lack of attention to the matter. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. This is an unacceptable circumstance for any company paid to watch children. Double, triple check counting kids when on a field trip!

Althought this center describes itself as a learning center, I never witnessed anything of the sort. The staff is very unprofessional. They all seem to be 20 something and friends from the bar. Everytime picking up my son, the children were running around, climbing on counters, and doing what they pleased while the adults were huddled together sharing the latest gossip. One occasion my son was vomitting for a day after eating way way to much candy at the center. Had I know that my son would be involved in this kind of place, i would have never enrolled him. After this experience for about 6 months, we moved him to another center. He is happy, growing and learning in a healthy environment.
