The rooms are noisy, the hotel is overpriced, service is below average. Would not recommend staying in this hotel when you're in the Big Apple.

I absolutely love this hotel! the staff is wonderful; the rooms are perfect size and no matter which side of the hotel you're on, the views are beautiful. Don't forget to check out the fabulous hamburger place downstairs!!

How boring can a hotel bar get, just go to knave and find out for yourself. This place is for anyone 60 years old and above. Thiers no action except listening to that lame music they play. Its over priced, that is if you dont mind paying 15.00 dollars for a drink that tastes like an $8.00 drink from an Irish pub. There are 100's of better hotel bars, and bars in general that there is absolutely no reason to go to this lame place

Pros: Old People. Lousy Music

Cons: Rip OFF

.

This place is as exciting as a New York library. The music is weak, the patrons are old, and or tourists.

Would not reccommend this place to anyone

Pros: NONE

Cons: Over Priced - Rip Off

My experience at knave was okay. It had nice decor, the coffee was good, but the prices were very high. Nothing is available for take out, so it's stand up or sit down only.

Cons: Limited selection and options / very expensive

.

The products are marginal, the prices are ridiculous and you would have to be a moron or a tourist to waste your money at this place. I reccomend going to the New Dean & Deluca across the street from the hotel on West 56th street Bet 6&7ave. ( same block as hotel ).

I am a local resident who's telling all who are reading that this place is the biggest RIP OFF in midtown. The service is slow, the coffee is average at best, the muffins taste like brownies you buy in the box at the super market. It's mostly sit down service, There is a small counter that can squeeze 4 people standing there. So plan on squeezing next to someone or plan on standing in on coming walk by traffic from annoying hotel guests. Starbucks is your best bet for coffee, pastries, fast service, take out and a fun enviornment to hang out in.

Pros: Its great if you want to over pay for average coffee and slow service

Cons: Baked items that taste like they are from a powder box mix

Finally, finally a great espresso in midtown. Every day I trudge to work and by 10am I am craving a proper shot, now at Knave I have found my salvation. Counter Culture coffee pulled by enthusiastic, knowledgeable Baristas. In addition I love the fact that I am not surrounded by throngs of people getting their 5 gallon cups of swill refilled to rush down the street. Instead, I sit in a beautiful environment with mellow music. For $3 what more can you ask for? Oh, and if your up to it, the croissant are decadent.

I also had a perfectly prepared Mojito one evening too. Hopefully it will never get as busy as the nearby burger joint does. At least one Starbucks should be closed by the arrival of Knave.

I've always enjoyed staying at the Parker Meridien in New York. It has a clean and modern feel without being overly trendy. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-appointed. The service is helpful and unobtrusive. There's also a burger joint tucked in along the hallway, and the burgers there are surprisingly good!

There's a secret inside Le Parker Meredien's walls that the normal bystander might miss. It sits right inside their lobby, to the upper left, surrounded by curtains. It's called, The Burger Joint and that's exactly what it is! Best burgers int he city of New York for a fraction of the prices!!! If you are ever around Le Parker Meredien, go to the Burger Joint. The burgers run about $5. Their fries are also great. The joint itself is very rustic and worn, with napkins all over the walls from adoring fans. The staff is funny and very friendly.

As for the hotel, many exectutives that I have worked with/ for have stayed in this hotel and had nothing but great things to say. They told me that the rooms are a good size, clean, and the staff treats them like royalty. It is pricy to stay there though. The penthouse level, which they rent out for corporate meetings and parties, has a pool.

I happend to come across this great little secret place while passing through the beautiful / trendy Parker Meridien hotel lobby. The epresso I drank was absolutely the best I've ever had. I didn't want to write about this place, because I don't want this spot to become to popular so I can have it all to myself, but the owner is such a nice guy, I thought I would do my part in spreading the word.

Pros: amazing coffee, really friendly staff, beautiful enviroment

The state of espresso drinks in this city is sad indeed. It's not just inconsistant finished product (often not hot enough) and consistant mediocre flavor of the drinks at "you know where" but everyone making espresso drinks in the chain stores seem to think lattes are"espresso o laits" with no foam(caps and lattes both have foam-it's the proportion that differs). I can't convey the joy when I found this little gem of a coffee bar in the lobby of the Meridienne Hotel. Espresso with real flavor(not overroasted) and Lattes made with the right mix of milk and foam and the price no higher than Starborings. Their staff is a joy and they also sell interesting hard to find products/gifts in their shop. Stand-up only but perfect for take out.

Editorial from

Indoor sidewalk espresso bar located in the theater district serves alcohol and prides itself on taking coffee as seriously as the Italians.
