Red Bank Hospital is HORRIBLE! Like most of the other reviews on other sites, we have the similar complaint where they take your money and don't truly care about your pet. In our case the cost has been about $7000. Our dog had surgery at

Every time I go to Red Bank Vet, I am so impressed. Their doctors are top notch! Dr. Joyce is AMAZING. She truly cares about your pet and takes the time to explain everything to you. I've actually called her a couple of times and she gets back to you with great advice. She's truly an exceptional doctor and my dogs are lucky to have her!

When my cat Bonnie was diagnosed with intestinal lymphoma I thought I was going to lose her. Our vet told us they would not be able to get the tumor out and that she may only have 6 months. They told me I could start chemo there or take her to Redbank and Dr. Fred. I am so glad I took her to Redbank. They were able to get the whole tumor out and started a chemo proticol that has kept Bonnie disease free for 20 months. I am so grateful to Dr. Fred and everyone at Redbank animal hospital. They are all so kind and careing and you can call them with questions at any time night or day. I would never go anywhere else

I took my 13 1/2 year old (indoor) cat in early Sunday morning for an abdominal ultrasound which was recommended by my local veterinarian. My cat was very ill and I was afraid she was about to die. Upon reviewing my cat's medical records, the vet at RBVH lectured me about not having my cat's rabies vaccinations up to date. I explained that my cat was an indoor cat and had never been experienced to wildlife, but I also took full responsibility for not being up to date with her vaccination. She proceeded and informed me that out of date vaccinations were illegal in the state of New Jersey and if my cat happened to bite someone there, they would have her euthanized, cut off her head and send it away for testing. This is the last thing one wants to hear when their cat is extremely ill and ready to die.

RBVH may be a reputable animal hospital, but I was extremely disappointed with their bedside manner. Perhaps this was a fluke. I did take my cat early Sunday morning, so perhaps the more professional staff works normal business hours.

I have been going to RBVH for many years now with my 3 dogs and cat. Dr. Morgan and her tech Jen are awesome!!! You will not find better care for your pets anywhere else in NJ. They have office hours on Sundays at no extra cost.
If you have an emergency you couldn't be in better hands.

This the largest veterinary hospital I've ever seen. They have specialists of every kind on staff. The doctors are extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. While the hospital is new with all the latest equipment the waiting room is not comfortable. And my advice is to bring a book because you will be there awhile. I've given it 5 stars because they deserve it for the excellent care they give your sick or injured pets.

I have trusted Red Bank Veterinary hospital to care for my beloved pets for over 10 years. Just 3 weeks ago my beloved Labrador nearly died when he suddenly collapsed while playing catch. We rushed him to RBVH where their emergency staff immediately sprang into action. A team of vets, including a surgeon, internist and ER doctor worked around the clock to save my dog's life. Thanks to these wonderful vets and their caring staff my boy is home beside me as I write this review. RBVH also has a house call service which is great for those with multiple pets, elderly pets etc.

This is an excellant emergency hospital. Open 24 hours ... the staff is friendly and very helpful ... the vets are very knowledgeable and they have the resources to handle any emergency. The prices are also not bad even when you go after hours. Highly recommend

The place to go for ER visits, as well as regular visits. Huge staff of surgeons and specialists. They always take their time with you, explain everything, and answer any questions. they grew out of their original location and built a huge new facility down the road. The first building now houses rehab patients. Veterinary care is never cheap, and the same holds true here, but you get what you pay for, and I will always take my dogs here.
