I purchased my first car here. Sam my sales person was full of knowledge about the different models of Accord. Finance was awesome they worked with Sam in finding a model of Accord that fit in my budget and had the important features I desired in my 2012. They made the whole process comfortable and answered every one of my questions fully. I didn't feel overwhelmed or even as a woman taken. I researched carefully the price for my vehicle I wanted and found they offered the best deal in price and finance rate for the DC metro area. I have since had 3 oil changes in there service department and currently use Keith Derrickson as my advisor. He is awesome and I would highly recommend him! He is complete, follows up after I leave to concerns I have raised during my visits. I would highly recommend this dealership both in sales and service to anyone looking for a great deal, or having your vehicle serviced with a worry free feeling. I have also purchased accessories for my Accord from the parts department, and they seem to have a great inventory of parts and accessories. If they don't have it in stock Jim the parts manager and his staff goes above and beyond to locate the part fast where you can get it the same day or the next day if you need it in a rush.

We went to Fairfax from MD because they had the color Accord we wanted. They agreed to our price rather easily, but then took over 4 hours to get our car and papers ready to leave. We actually went to lunch and came back. They said they would mail our plates to us so we wouldn t have to drive the 40 miles to get them. The day our temporary plates expired, I called twice asking about our plates. They said they had mailed us a postcard (it came the next day), and then they promised to send our plates that day (a Monday). The next Saturday, we still did not have our plates. I called, twice, again, and found they STILL had our plates. My husband had to drive there to get them afterall, which we could have done before our temporary ones expired!! I would not buy another car from them.

I would give zero starts if I could. The absolute worst car buying and customer experience I've ever had. I will NEVER go back to Rosenthal Fairfax Honda. Bought a pre-owned car with warranty and have returned no less than five times to have THE SAME repairs completed because they were not taken care of the first time. I'm positive they cleared the code without fixing the car before I bought it because the check engine light came on only a week later. Now they are stalling by not making the necessary repairs waiting until the short-term warranty runs out so that I'll have to pay the $800 or $900 for a new PCM myself. They are crooks screwing over a struggling single mom. Horrible! No shame!

Rosenthal Fairfax honda employees are very professional and courtious. In December of 2010 I was purchasing a hybrid car which had been service by Fairfax Honda. I was told by the owner that the IMA Battery ($4000 cost) had been replaced a little over a year before and maintained a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty. When I called Fairfax Honda prior to purchasing the car, they confirmed that the car indeed was still under warranty. Additionally, I had a pre-purchase inspection conducted by Fairfax Honda.

When I talked to Fairfax Honda over the phone about the pre-purchase inspection, I should have picked up on their lack of professionalism and competency. I was transferred nearly a dozen times, never truly getting satisfactory answers to basic questions (I.E. Who worked on the car?)

Skip ahead two months, the IMA has completely failed. I have just been informed that in fact there is absolutely no warranty on the new battery. Indeed, there was never even a warranty to begin with. So I am out a $4,000 dollar service job on a $5,000 car. When I confronted the Fairfax representative and mechanic about being told there was a warranty, they essentially replied, ??Whoops, no one should have told you that.? No help was ever offered.

In conclusion: Worst Case Scenario - Fairfax Honda is complicit with scammers selling lemon cars. Best Case Scenario ?? Fairfax Honda is the least reliable service center I have ever encountered.

Have owned a Honda for 25 years. Moved here. Had Civic Hybrid routine service:
Forgot to attache wheel well cover
failed to notice wiper was bent when replaced blade
sold us new tires and failed to tighten the tire valve resulting in flat time
Told us IMA was bad at only 60K miles.
Car has been in the shop 4 times in the past week, 3 of them for their mistakes.

I bought my first honda here, and i couldnt have chosen a better place to do it. I was very impressed with the different selection they had. the showroom was clean with great cars to look at. the salesman was friendly and knowlegable about the cars. I took a couple test drives and the whole process was very enjoyable. The prices where defineltly very reasonable. Afterwards the parts department and service did a great job applying Cilajet coating and the parts i ordered. So when i was approached by the manager to write about my experience i agreed. I give this place 5 stars.

I would like to share my experience with Fairfax Honda body shop 11020 Main St Fairfax, VA 22030, (703) 934-8500, Honda Auto dealer happened on 06/08/2009.

Due to accident my car??s back bumper and trunk was damaged. I talked to Fairfax Honda and they told me they have body shop also which is really good. I also having all on my Car servicing at that location from the day I purchased my car Honda Civic Hybrid 2005.

As they are HONDA auto dealer and I had trust in this name I asked them to repair my car in their body shop. It took them around 3 weeks to bring parts and fix my car, which only required bumper and trunk replacement.

My trouble didn??t stopped here, I never got any status call from Honda dealer body shop. After three weeks when I called them finally they told me come there and get my Honda Civic Hybrid 2005 on 06/08/2009.My car condition was not what I expected , it does have any good finishing .

After checking my car I informed Honda dealer body shop these things and also about missing fifth tire (spare tire). Honda dealer body shop told me that it was not there and started making excuses about that.

After talking to them for long time when we was not going anywhere I told them I need to call police. Once Honda dealer body shop people hear that I am calling police WITHIN 2 minutes someone from Honda dealer body shop bring fifth tire (spare tire) and started fixing in my trunk. At that time I was trying to reach my friends to get phone number for nearest police station.

My home address and phone number was also wrong on my receipt and Honda dealer told me that they couldn??t change my address and phone number.

I want to share this experience with you because if any Honda dealer has body shop, we think and trust of HONDA brand and these types of acts can jeopodize HONDA reputation.

The Fairfax Honda Service Department is an absolute Ripoff! My daughter took her car in for an oil change and they ended up charging her $485 for a 30,000 mile "tune up". When she called and told me how much they were charging I told her to stop them and get the car out of there. She was told the extended warranty I paid $1,800 for when I purchased the car would not take affect if she didn't have the work done there! I called and talked to service department and was told they would not stop the process because they had already drained the transmission and oil. Which is not true since I own the car outright and I was willing to accept the liability! I could have towed the car to my TRUSTED Mechanic's garage and had the "tune up", still for LESS than half the price they were charging. When I asked what was included in this so called tune up that cost $485 I was told they change the oil, transmission fluid, rotate tires, check the emergency brake, change the air filters, check and top of fluids!!! What fluids are left, the windshield wiper, which cost $1.20 a gallon!? When I googled the average cost for a 30,000 mile tune up is $250! Get a second opinion before letting this dealership do any work to your car OR... just save yourself the aggravation and take your car to your trusted local mechanic.

bought a honda accord from fairfax honda and had the service done with Landmark honda. Both places obviously owned and operated by Rosenthal chain provided great prices and customer service. Its hard to find one decent dealership I hit the jackpot with two!!!

Beware!! We only needed a late-model, 4-5K car to get us around locally. They assured us a 1994 Honda Accord would do the job and, when I asked about the brakes, said they passed inspection and were fine. One week later, we learned the car needed brakes and rotars, front and rear, to the tune of $1200 (their service department's price quote). All involved parties admitted that they knew that when we left the lot---and had no responsibility to tell us. They lied while looking me in the eye.

What stands out more than the hoodwinking we got--and shame on us for not doing better due dilligence here--was the rudeness and utter disregard for my 8-month old fetus' safety by the Service Department Manager. We got our money back, but would have kept the car had he agreed to fix what should have been done in the first place, no cost. Next our salesguy, Darrin, calls me at home a week later to berate me after my husband posted a bad review online (again, I'm 8 months pregnant...I really don't think the stress is good for my baby). If you think you have gotten good service at any Rosenthal dealership, you must be related to your sales rep...or very very naive.

Pleasant, much nicer than the dealers in the the other areas and sold us a car-2008 CRV cheaper than any quote we had received in town. We have had the good luck of having work done here as well and we are so happy to find a reliable place to take our car to for all its needs. Our experience with Fairfax honda has been excellent.

My family has been with Fairfax Honda since 1980. We presently have 3 honda cars in our driveway! During this period Rosenthal has sold us over 10 cars. We of course have had numerous service department visits. All of times we have visited the people at fairfax honda have been pleasant and professional. The one time that a service resulted in a bad result, they fixed it ASAP and threw in a free oil change besides!

After 2.5 months, my problems have yet to be resloved. Originally visited Fairfax Honda to address an issue with my headliner (a rattle) and a navigation problem. Fairfax honda made buying a honda accord very easy. I first dealt with them through email and then I spoke to them on the phone. They had the car I wanted and also gave me a fair price that was lower than several other dealers. Would definitely recommend this dealer.

They mechanics at Fairfax Honda know what they're doing: Their repair shop is excellently run, very efficient with multiple employees attending to me when I am there for my Honda maintenance and they offer shuttle service too. They were very helpful with the questions I'd had, and were very quick in getting my car back to me. I highly recommend Fairfax Honda for their service department

This Honda dealer has a great service staff. They are very helpfull and the repairs are done in a timely manner. I used to take my car to an independent shop but after calling Fairfax Honda and getting their price quote, I decided to use them. Not only did I get a better deal on my brake replacement, I feel much more comfortable that they are done by Honda technicians.

I was test driving a variety of competing vehicles last week. I had researched the vehicles months before and did not require much sales work from the dealer. While at Fairfax Honda, the salesman assisted me and spent about two hours in test driving, answering questions I didn't even think of. He had a wealth of knowledge of technical details and accurate opinions about the power train and transmission. The service and salesmanship he exhibited was extraordinary and made feel that with all the research I did, there was more to learn. I still have not made a decision if a Honda is the right car for me but I have to say the salesman has influence me a lot.

I have always service and purchased my car at hendrick honda in woodbridge, however i just purchased by new honda at fairfax honda. I went there after several email exchanges with my salesman. I submitted several request to hendrick honda for a new quote request but did not get a response until 3 days later. i was impressed with how quickly fairfax honda provided me a pricing on the honda accord that I was interested in. I received a price quote back in less than 5 minutes from submitting my request. Driving the extra distance has paid off as my overall experience was very pleasant. I also may bring my honda there to get service if the service staff is as good as my saleman in taking care of my needs.

I bought a vehicle from this dealership (Fairfax Honda) and 5 days later the vehicle broke down while in Philadelphia PA. It had been less than 500 miles. I had the car towed to a nearby dealership in PA and the dealership we amazed that the car hadn't had a diagnostic servicing before it was sold. It had they would have know about the default in the car. The total service cost me $925 and it had been 5 days from purchase. I called Sales Managers Darrin Loudermilk and Dave Terrin to see what can be done. Darrin was somewhat understanding but Dave was very disrespectful and challenged me on the analysis of the dealership in PA. He then told me I had to follow up with his supervisor Michael Taylor. I have left two voice messages for Mr. Taylor and he hasn't returned my calls or messages. My next step is contacting General Manager Cary Schwab.

I just got my new CR-V from Fairfax Honda. Going to Fairfax Honda was one of the best choices I??ve ever made, the staff was wonderful and at no point did I ever feel pressured into anything. I walked away with a vehicle I love at a great price. This is a smaller Honda dealership. You will be better off going to a bigger dealership such as Rosenthal Honda. That is IF you need to buy a Honda, and buy it new instead of used from a private party. Bigger volumes should allow the dealership to sell at lower prices.
