Buffet City

I finished eating a plate from Buffet City about 4 hours ago. I feel fine. No scary rumbling in the stomach or anything. This was my first time going there. I will definitely be heading back. I didn't dine in, so I can't comment on the waitstaff, but the person behind the counter at the front was VERY nice and personable. I did a to go plate. The food was good, reasonably priced for take out @ a buffet, and there is a good sized selection. If you want greasy....go for it. If you don't...go for it! You have choices here.

My family & I went to Buffet City for a family night dinner -it wasnt our first time actually we used to love it there until today. When we got there, our table wasn't even fully cleaned, the mac n cheese was orange and watery (i used to love it there) and many of the dishes seem to just be piled with grease. Although buffet city is spacious, the food quality and waitresses do not meet the expectations for about a $10/person. & I totally understand Kathy Y on how the waitresses beg for tips and I agree, it is very rude. I wish Buffet City was like it was when it first opened!

Our family eats there almost once a week. The taste and selection are very good. The sushi bar usually has a small selection but if you ask they'll make something up for you. Very nice variety.

The place and food is great, but the waitresses are not. Every time I go there, they beg for tips and I think that is very RUDE. They should re-train their staffs.

THE FOOD WAS GREAT AS WELL AS THE STAFF!
IT IS A GREAT SPOT FOR THE FAMILY AS WELL!

MY DAUGHTER, HUSBAND AND I WERE AT BEST CITY AND THE WAIT STAFF WAS VERY KIND. tHE WAITRESS EVEN BRUNG MY DAUGHTER SOM M&M'S . I THOUGHT THAT WAS VERY SWEET.

So, i decided to go out to eat at this place last week after work, started off with a salad, and then had a couple plates of some chinese food that i love, or did love. Everything good, left happy. When i get home, about 2 hours passes by, i'm starting to feel like i'm getting the flu. I didn't think it would be the food, because never once I ever got sick from food. Later on, I wake up in the middle of the night, my stomach is growling like crazy. What happens next, I don't want to share, but you get the idea. It's been 3 days since i've ate at the place, and i'm still sh-i-t-ing like crazy! On top of that, the first night, I also puked. So, basically, there is something definitely wrong with the food at this place, and remember, i never, ever got sick from any type of food i ever ate. The food tasted good, but the after-effect, NO GOOD..I THINK I HAVE FOOD POISONING.

I absolutely love this place. They have nearly everything that the normal Chinese buffet offers and a whole lot more. First off the place is freaking huge. There are several different seating sections (no smoking section) and the staff are really nice, though they usually do not speak much English. They have a full sushi bar (and its actually pretty good) and they have a Mongolian style BBQ near the back, which is extremely rare. Tot top it all off their food is great, typically much better than other Chinese buffets in the city and the selectionis awesome. Some people complain that other restaurants offer crab legs with the buffet but they are never out, Buffest City is one of the few places where they actually consistantly refill the crab legs along with all the other dishes. Seriously, it is a must try if you like a good Chinese Buffet.

PROS: Awesome place!
CONS: Doesn't attract the greatest clientele
