I ordered the pizza for pick up. They said it would be 20 minutes so I waited 20 minutes. It took an additional 20 minutes when I got there. The service was ridiculous..the staff just didn't get it. On top of that the Pepperoni Pizza was one of the worst we had ever tasted. It was extremely greasy, salty and the cheese was weird and clumpy. I thought my kids would eat anything related to pizza.....they hated it.
I love Pops restaurant...do they know whats going on next door?

Pros: none

Cons: slow service. awful pizza

If you long for the small town, non-chain pizza experience, then look no further than Snap. They use fresh ingredients, the sauce was good, and the crust was nice and soft. I think they have both thin and thick crust...the one I got was of medium thickness. They have all sorts of different pizzas to choose from, ranging from simple to ecclectic, or you can build your own. Best of all, they have fresh ice cream and other desserts on hand to satisfy any sweet tooth. Sometimes I would go here just for the ice cream!

Pros: Great pizza, great ambience

Cons: parking

The pizza and sandwiches are good, the atmosphere is relaxing, it is a clean business. However, the three or so times I have eaten there, the food has taken a very long time in preparation.

Pros: Food

Cons: Service

If it wasn't for the good pizza, I would never go back. The service at Snap! is horrible. The last two times I have ordered pizza from there it has taken way too long to get my pizza. The lines are usually very slow, but not because of long lines, rather inefficient counter service. A few weeks ago I was charged more than what was on my receipt and it took a long time to correct the error. The last time I ordered pizza for take out, I was told it would be ready in 20-25 minutes - 50 minutes later it was ready, and without an apology. The only explanation was that the manager on duty was new and wasn't used to it yet. On the other hand the pizza is good, so if you don't mind waiting for a long time and horrible service, try it out.

Pros: Good tasting pizza, family restaurant

Cons: Horrible service, slow service, expensive

We're sad--because this should have been a great experience, but this was our second visit and both times were not good. Maybe they've changed owners or something since the positive reviews.

For us, we ordered a malt--at 4.25 a rather expensive malt served in a small stemmed glass. Besides making it a small portion for the money, the malt was poorly mixed, overflavored (too much syrup) and melty. It was delivered (slowly) by a hyper, unfriendly guy who basically slammed it down and walked away without comment.

The pizza by the slice was old, dry, and served half cold.

That was the first visit.

Second visit was a take out pizza and hoagy. Besides being overpriced, the pizza was undecooked in the middle. Plus things weren't ready when they said they would be. Thats fine but how bout an apology or at least friendly Acknowledgement that they are behind?

And the hoagy, at $7.50 , was small, with tiny amount of meat and tired, wilted lettuce and mushy clearly old tomatoes..

So, I dont know if they're having friends write the glowing reviews or what, but I'll never go back.

Cons: expensive, inattentive service, very uneven food

Well, I did it. We ventured to the counter part to "Pop" and visited this new place now located on Johnson Avenue in NE Minneapolis. This is has the feel of a small town main street stop in the middle of the city. Not surprisingly the place was packed but service was still fast and delicious. A definitey recommend and we'll be back!

I cannot stop raving about their pizza. Better than homemade. We had pizza two nights in one week and each time, it tasted just a little different (they must make their sauces and dough from scratch). So many options, each one more delicious than the last. If you have time to spare, go in and sit down. The trivia and kids games are a great distraction. On the go? Call ahead and pick up your pizza.

And the prices are VERY reasonable (coupons are usually available---seems they have discounts on Tuesdays, too).

Pros: Awesome pizza. Fresh ingredients. Great variety. Wonderful price. Fun atmosphere.

Cons: Parking. Seating available in booths only. Sit-down dining service isn't fast (but the food is worth it).

I highly recommend their pizza... it is so delicious! Definely worth trying!

I didn't try the ice cream but I had a pizza with pesto sauce, chicken, red peppers and provolone cheese. EXCELLENT!! The service was great and there are quiz game cards (who wants to be a millionaire). Highly recommended!!

I'll be up front: I haven't tried the pizza yet. I went here with my mom to try the ice cream after a long day of painting. We decided to share a sundae (her suggestion since she likes to "split"). Well it's a good thing we split! The sundae ($6) was mammoth. Two huge scoops of ice cream, tons of spiced apple slices, butterscotch to spare, three huge swirls of cream, and spice cake underneath it all. It was huge, and insanely yummy. I'll be going back to try the pizza. Bring friends, it's a fun place and a great addition to the neighborhood!
