I've been here a few times and have decided i will not go back again. the first few times were for little things that has fixed pricing (oil change and brake change). they seem to do the minimum and get you on your way. that's the good part of it because they never harassed me with other parts that needed to be fixed.
two weeks ago i went in because my car wasn't performing right. the mechanic drove it around the block and did the shock/strut bounce test which ended in him looking confused and completed the bounce test more than once. i guess it didn't end up bouncing as many times as he thought it would but he still recommended new 'quick struts' for my car.
quick struts as explained to me are already assembled struts packages that include all the goodies (strut, springs, etc.). this was recommended because i plan on keeping the car. it would last me a while without having to worry about replacing the springs or other parts down the. after punching in information on their parts database he came up with 185 or so per front and 160 per for the back and then went on to add 100 for labor per strut (400). the price i was quoted was $1084. after that quote i asked how much it would be if i just got all struts replaced without the quick strut package and he told me i would save a little over $200 in labor. this $200+ was written on the same piece of paper with the quote. I made sure to ask before I left that it would be costing me about $1000 or $1100 and was told yes. I even told the mechanic I needed to confirm it so I could go borrow money to pay for it.
I went in this morning and was given a quote of $1450+ from the front desk guy. I told him I was told the $1084 price. He looked at the paper and told me they would do it for the $1084 + the extra $200+ written, which would give me a little $$$ off. I then told him that I would need a couple days to think about it cause it is significantly more then what I thought. He then responded with something similar to ??it??s right there on the paper. it isn??t hard to figure it out is it??
I know all mechanics ??estimate?? prices and each one will give you different estimate. But wow, talk about rude customer service. Instead of asking me which mechanic talked with me and going back there to clear it up. I get a belittling answer and a raised voice (not shouting, but louder than when we first started talking). It was at this point where I walked out and mentioned I won??t ever go back again. It??s a shame because I wanted to head back there and be a loyal customer. I would have probably paid the $1450+ if he wasn??t such a smart-ass. I just wanted to give it time and save up more money.

for basic services, sure, but more important services, either head somewhere else or make sure you talk with the same guy the second time.

They do a great job diagnosing what is wrong and give a fair price to fix it right. They are trustworthy. They have fixed our old and new cars and kept them running smoothly. I highly recommend them.

THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. They explain the problem, what needs to be done to fix it and give you a price. You can decide. I know my car runs great now.
I WILL TAKE IT TO THEM FOR MY FUTURE NEEDS.

I've had my car in for routine oil changes other service and was never disappointed! Fast turnaround, and my favorite... they don't try to upsell you to things you don't need right now. They told me I'd need new tires in 6 months and I'm going back there because I trust them.

These guys seem OK.
They patched a damaged cat converter for me. Got me to my next paycheck so I could actually replace the cat when I could afford it.
These guys don't replace cat converters though so I had Signal Garage install an aftermarket cat for me that I ordered.
