Internet Request:

Started with an internet search through KBB for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara. Fields was the only dealer that responded with an initial quote to the exact vehicle I was requesting. All others either only wanted to talk to me by phone or sent me offers on lesser vehicles that didn't match my ask. Given initial good feel for a fair price and a vehicle exactly matching what I was looking for, I started working with Fields Jeep in Northfield. From the first inquiry, Chris Palomar was responsive, professional and good to work with. He even helped me find other ways that I could get discounts. I was able to find a company funded rebate I was unaware of that saved me some money as well.

Sales Contact:

When I was transferred to Eli Luber on the sales team, I was contacted promptly and courteously. After getting comfortable with him and the process, we agreed to a meeting time and date. Eli proactively asked if I was wanting to utilize financing, gave the best financing offers and suggested we process the application in advance to quicken the possible close of the deal at the dealership.

Dealership Experience:

We showed up as set up and was greeted immediately by Eli Luber. The car was detailed, looking sharp and ready for a test drive. We loved it. Having already landed on a price, and with all paperwork processed in advance, our time in the dealership was very limited which made the wife extremely happy. Eli went out of his way to offer help understanding the hard and soft top to the Wrangler and even offered to assist if we came back at any time.

Overall:

I can't say I love buying a car...I can't say that I necessarily got got the rock bottom price..., but I can say that if all of my car buying experiences were like this, then I might buy them more often. I got a fair price, was treated respectably and felt very well through the entire experience. Hats off to Chris and Eli for treating us in a respectful, timely manner. Would definitely come back to Fields Jeep. As I had previously purchased my Infiniti up the road from Fields Infiniti...it must run in the Ownership group.

Now I have to run, get the soft top down and enjoy my Jeep!

We first bought a Jeep here 10 years ago and have been back twice for our two other cars. It's a bit of a drive for us but worth it for great service. I just took home a Grand Cherokee Limited this weekend and the experience was great from start to finish. I worked with Eli who was knowledgeable and informative without being pushy. I feel he got me a fair price for both the car and my trade-in. He kept me informed on updates to the car I ordered, and at the day of purchase he took the time to help me program everything- including hooking my phone up to the car. The dealership is nice if you have to go for service- free coffee and ice cream and free car washes any time you want- even if you aren't there for service. Also great service from the finance manager for payment and explaining the extended service warranties which were fairly priced.

I was just about killed by a sales rep (driving a new Grand Cherokee wth Fields dealer plates on it) as he ran me off the road. He pulled up next to me on the interstate, gave me the finger and proceeded to run me into the concrete median.

This dealership is the most unprofessional place I have ever dealt with in my life. This past weekend my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee was flooded. I called to make an appointment on Monday July 25th to repair the damage and the dealership

I've taken my car for service on two occasions where they've returned it to me with 30+ miles put on it and less than 2 miles from empty. (It's happened TWICE!) They used my car to transport materials...and one service person drove it home to "test out a repair." I spoke with the owner of Fields the first time around...and apparently to no avail. If it weren't for the fact that I bought my car here (and hence only get the benefits of a loaner vehicle here) -- not to mention the fact that they're the only Jeep dealership that can schedule a service appt in less than a week, I would NEVER come back here. They're HORRIBLE.

Pros: Good deals on purchasing cars

Cons: OFFENSIVELY TERRIBLE service department

When you go to Northfield jeep- be prepared to do most of the work yourself. These guys rarely call back or do much of the legwork. We had to wave someone down while we were on the lot. They were too busy smoking cigarettes.
The salesman at the accompanying lot- BMW are even worse.
I am not really sure who these guys think they are.
They are car salesman for christsakes. They sell cars for a living.
They are rude and obnoxious. I will never buy from Fields Jeep............ever.
