Excellent experience

by Sarah S.

My 3 year old is receiving OT for sensory integration problems and received Speech Therapy for speech delay from Helping Hands Pediatric Therapy. Ms. Margie (OT) is fabulous with my daughter and has incorporated a variety of techniques to assist with her progress. In the beginning Margie let me sit in on the sessions and let me decide when I was ready to have my daughter have a session without me. It was so nice to see how they interacted and see my daughter engaging and having fun. Now that the sessions are one-on-one, Margie tells me everything they worked on which keeps me in the loop. I have incorporated many ideas at home and at preschool and have seen improvements in both places. My daughter cries when we leave because she wants to play with Ms. Margie some more. That makes me happy. When my daughter saw Ms. Kia (speech) she warmed up to her immediately which is unusual for my daughter. Kia gave us weekly worksheets to practice and gave me advice on how to assist my daughter in practicing troublesome letters. She was perceptive to my daughters' mood and would adjust sessions accordingly. I would recommend Helping Hands to anyone whose child needs OT or speech as my experience with both was superb.

Get the best for your child!

by Janice F.

My son has been receiving OT services from one of the wonderful therapists at Helping Hands for the past year. The service and attention I received at the beginning from Stephanie Willard during the process of getting started was awesome! All I had to decide was a day and time. Scheduling is reasonably flexible and they even forgive you for that one time you totally forget to show up! The therapy sessions my son has received have shown creativity, adaptability and flexibility depending on his mood and as his specific needs have changed. Goals are set that are attainable but challenging and I have been extremely pleased with his progress. The therapists are very communicative and listen well to any concerns or questions that arise and are very willing to help research any issues that may come up. Pediatric therapists are in short supply and I consider myself blessed to have found the group at Helping Hands Pediatric Therapy.
