Dear: At- Will & Ashamed Jessica J.
First of all Im taking it your non tribal. Im Tribal of this casino you speak of, and you need to check your statistics of your status review on what the Casino has to keep in mind. The Casino is not racial of whom the intake monies of. Meaning it is not successful because of non tribal. It is "successful" so you say, because of all Tribal and non Tribal,Mexican,White,Black,Asian,Philippine,Japanese,Yokut, Miwok, Tachi, ,etc. From areas daily from Porterville~past LA & Fresno Area. So your opinion is wrong for thinking gratitude should applauder you.
Second "they fire, harrass, and undermine", everyone does have to the right to appeal either through the Council or the Unemployment office. It is mandatory to file. So if any former employees didnt file an appeal than its no ones fault but their own. Third as for "Wake up" you need to do some acknowledgement on Tribal Operations before you think your the gaming Queen. But Ill help you out. Union wake up the Casino? I think not, but you might want to try NIGA (National Indian Gaming Ass.) Alot of different options that will be more powerful towards the Casino, try our Lobbyist, or the BIA. Girl, even then what you are complaining about is really those employees business, not yours. I see you have no authorization to speak on their behave. Dang I hope you dont represent your complaints like this to often. Im only wasting my time explaining to you, because this is my Tribe you seem to be outrage of. And at least make it all worth discussing. Not does this type of actions just happen at the Casino. And Fourth "cant be sued" once again you know nothing about Tribal. So be honored that I share this with you. Yes they can be sued. Each and everyone of those you seek. If you have a good case any tribal business, Tribal Council, Tribal member, etc can be filed and sued as an individual. Last to inform your clueless mind. The last thing the Tribal operations want is a lawsuit from a non tribal. The non tribal has actual more jurisdiction to file, because of being non tribal. They can go to the courts of there County. The County to the State, etc. Look up By Laws of the Tribe before your start trying to act like a "shotcaller" among the community. And you can use spell check to spell "sovereign" In conclusion to the (both) and you readers "Clean up Tribal Council" Its a Political position hello. You should mean the leadership of the present tribe. This only my opinion I'd be proud if you would reconsider with the shirt. I dont want someone like you representing my tribe with someone like you wearing our logo or tribal shirt. Maybe if you stated with some tangible evidence.

This entity the racist discriminatory place of employment in the Tulare County. They need to keep in mind that they are sucessful because the funds they receive are from customers that non-tribal members. They fire employees for no reason, harass, undermine all employees rights! The say "we have soveriegn immunity" therefor we will never get sued. Wake up cause the UNION is coming to your Casino soon! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY WHERE EMPLOYEES ARE TREATED LIKE IN A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY!

I would not reccomend doing any business here. Get Ryan out of tribal council him and his one sided democracy. Clean up tribal council then I'll be proud to wear a tule river t-shirt again.

I to am a tribal member living off of the reservation, and as a tribal member I am deeply offended by your unjustified accusations towards the staff on the reservation. It is so called tribal members like you that make our reservation look bad with your invalid complaints. I am sure you have been given the same unwanted attitudes or sighs in businesses in the city, but for some reason have not posted a complaint about it.

There have been many instances when I have contacted the offices and for a varied of reasons.
As a tribal member who resides off of the Reservation, I do call the tribal offices every few months in regards to any updated information etc. It never fails that I almost always get a(n) *inept receptionist(s) with a bad attitude. I explain the nature of my call and only to receive a sigh, a heavy ONE, of disdain and yet of seemingly begrudging assistance. Am I imposing on their personal time?
Per every few months I do call, it never fails- they almost always enquire my *contact information "updated." In one year I think I had updated my information more than 3 or 4 times. Although very wearisome I comply and hence a few months pass, I call again and the same cycle, "update" more information.
How many times must one "update" their info? Is my information not being updated by staff or what?
Generally I fax my information and also send other copies via the USPS. After I fax the information, I wait 10 minutes call the offices and a receptionist always says that they "received it," etc. I ask, if they receive it, what do they do with my information.
I have also spoke with other tribal members and employees, who reside on & off of the Reservation, and they too have relented similar complaints regarding office staff and attitudes. Last time I checked *secretaries/stenographers, etc this is their occupation and by choice.
Good luck to those who call and better luck that these people are not reported to the "Better Business Bureau."
