I board my horses at Shadetree. I was amused by the other person who posted saying that the stable was "dirty." She obviously doesn't understand life with horses.

Anyway, the folks there, Bob and Rose are good people who care about horses, safety and making sure customers have fun. The horses are impeccably taken care of. I should know, I'm one of the volunteers who helps take care of them as is my daughter. In fact there are at least a dozen volunteers, who along with the herd of about 20 trail ride horses have all become our extended family.

Come out and see for yourself how much fun you can have with a well trained horse. You won't regret it.

I was so excited to take my daughter out to Shade Tree. She is so horse-crazy it is ridiculous. There is no appointment required on weekends, so we arrived to a very dirty, run-down establishment. The horses didn't look very clean, and we watched several teenage girls tending the horses. They had a very unenthused attitude, and did not seem to do a thorough job. My daughter did seem to enjoy the actual ride, but there is no good place to wait while she is riding, and it did not seem like a good experience. We will continue searching for a better alternative.
