I work out at Oak Point Center in Plano. This is an extremely affordable gym for the whole family. It has an olympic size swimming pool. The problem is you have to work out around the swim teams that practice there. It also has a full sized basketball court, rock climbing wall and classes of all kinds. I mainly use the cardio machines and weight training machines. They are all high tech and well maintained. The only drawback is the lack of free weights. It does have a curling bench and dumbbells. The staff are highly motivated and are very very nice. The gym is kept up and has very good hours, open at 5:00 am for us early birds.

I really love this place. It is a great deal, and it only costs five dollars a person to swim for a really long time, inside and outside. I highly recomend it. There is also swimming lessons, and swim arobics. Other than a professional swimming pool, there is a gym with basketball, dancing, martial arts, and other things.

Pros: Thumbs Up!

Cons: Only it is busy a lot because of these great things.

My family joined the city's recreation centers about a year ago. We have been very pleased with the service, the cleanliness, and the availability. We are all able to work out together or separate.
