In ShortFounded in 1901 in Chicago by Charles R. Walgreen Sr., this neighborhood pharmacy has grown to be one of the nation's largest drugstore chains. Each store carries 25,000 different items--from cleaning products to electronics and greeting cards. Ok, I called for a simple cold compress for a knee and got transferred twice and after holding for, yes, 9 minutes I got this answer: First he repeated my question (do you have a cold compress for a knee?) then, he said, no we don't have that, I asked if he knew where I could get one and he said, (you'll love this) "Im not from here, I'm from Aurora so I'm not familiar with any stores here". Well, I didn't ask if he was, I asked if he could give me info of where to find one, not where to find one in his "area". OMG, then I told him of the five phone calls I made to Medical Supply stores and they did not have it, and he said well if they don't, then nobody does. And these are the people we TRUST to distribute drugs to the american public? Are you serious?

The people who work for this pharmacy must be the rejects from other Walgreens. Even if you call ahead, you can count on having to wait over an hour to have a prescription filled. These people are completely unprofessional and are best at arguing and making blank faces as drool pours on the counter. This place would be VERY convenient for me if it worked, but as it is, driving to the nearest hospital is actually easier.

This is a great drugstore. They have what you need and are friendly. I can find what I want and the pharmacists are helpful and caring. Love the specials on candy - stop in before you go to the Mayan for a movie.
