Jennifer is the best! She knows what shes doing and she'll give you all the time you need while in her chair! I have looked all over Raleigh, Cary and Apex for someone who knows how to cut hair and she is it! Fun to talk to and easy to get to know.............. prices are not bad either!

I found Nydia initially through these reviews, and I am a huge fan! She's given me great color and style every time, and I get so many compliments! She knows what you need, keeps you modern and current, and even recommended a vitamin for my hair (which was getting thinner after losing weight) that has really worked for me. In addition to her talent, she's also fun to talk to.

Nydia is great with all types of hair, it seems. I have thin, flat hair and she gave me a cut to not only fit the shape of my face, but also give me more movement. I also got my hair colored. It was a brassy blonde and I wanted a more natural look. I am now somewhere between blonde and brunette. Everyone says the color brings out my features. Thanks Nydia!

Nyadia has done my hair twice and I've always been pleased with the way the color looks. She tends to cut hair shorter than you ask her to. She's VERY expensive! For color and cut I paid over $230. I thought maybe she charged more because it was my first visit but the second time it was just as expensive. I don't quite understand why Nyadia charges such unreasonable prices. It ultimately only drives clients away to more reasonably priced stylists who are equally or more talented. The color Nyadia used was harsh on my hair or she overprocessed it. I've always had healthy soft hair until I went to her. It became dry and brittle and I've spent a lot of money on protein treatments and other products trying to correct it.

I don't know what this previous post is all about. Me and 6 of my friends go to Nydia and we love her. She's very skilled at what she does and she a wonderful person too. I get a great cut, my color looks awesome and I always have fun when I see Nadia too. Don't pay attention to the review below, look at all the others. Nadia is great! 919-995-3167

Horrible! I'm sorry to say that Nydia ruined my hair! I went for correction (bad color at another salon) and she only made it worse! I had gotten very brassy highlights - her solution was to put very blonde pieces in to break up the bad highlights. It sounded like a good idea, $210 later I was pleased. She told me to come back in 8 weeks to add lowlights.

The next time I came it was even more expensive ($230) and it looked absolutely awful! She added very dark lowlights, with white blonde highlights! It was streaky and horrendous. I didn't notice how bad it was until I saw pictures of my hair. My hair looked white in the front, and straw-like!

At this point I had spent close to $600 in two months on my hair (the first bad color + two sessions with Nydia). I could not justify spending any more $ on fixing my hair, plus I didn't want to damage it further. So I have been forced to dye it very dark to try to get my normal color back before ever attempting hightlights again.

After spending so much $ I would have expected a much better color! Also, she chopped my hair - she told me I needed it. Maybe so, but it is now so short, I hate that I have 12 different layers, and it will take years to get it back to the length I want it!

Do not waste your money.

A friend of mine told me about Nydia Torres. I had to go to a wedding so I took a chance and set up an appointment with Nydia. It's the best cut and color I've ever had. I have been going to Jennifer for nearly a year now, and I love my hair! I have naturally curly hair that I used to fight every morning to get under control. Then Jennifer did this 'Japanese Hair Straightening' thing to it and I LOVE IT! I haven't had to fight with it a single day since! Her hair straightening thing has completely rid me of the morning hassle and her prices are better than anyone else that I could find. Her hair color and cuts have been exquisite too, and I have loved my hair after every visit to her between the straightening touchups.
Jennifer, if you read this, you better not go anywhere! I don't want to lose you because I don't think I could trust anyone else the way I trust you with my hair.

My daughter and I have followed Erica for about 8 years during her rise to a management position with Mitchell's and then to her current location at Textures. We have never had a bad haircut or color. I have curly hair and Erica has cut it perfectly from the first day I met her. That is truly a sign of an excellent stylist. I will follow her anywhere!

I have been going to Brittany's for over 5 years now and she is the BEST!! Whether it's for cut or color, she always does a fantastic job! She's super trendy and always makes great recommendations. I've gone from blond in the summer to brunette in the winter and she's never disappointed me once. I trust her judgement completely. Every time I've gone without knowing what I wanted, I have come out with a huge smile on my face! She is also very flexible which is always a plus!!

I have been going to Debra Hodges at Haircolorxperts in Cary for about a year. I really love the way she does my hair!! So imagine my dismay when I thought I had lost her! She called me and told me about Textures and I am so much happier there. The salon is so much nicer. I'm glad she made the move!!!

I looked online in search of a new hair stylist after being disappointed with several others I had tried. I found Textures and decided to give them a try based on all of the ratings. I am so glad that I did - I have great color, a fabulous cut that really works with my naturally curly hair, and an awesome new stylist that I plan on keeping! Nydia is really talented! I highly recommend her or one of the other stylists (They are a little bit harder to find, as most "gems" are - the best way to reach Nydia is 995-3167 or 461-7002 ext 111).

I have been going to Nydia well over three years. Before that, I had been to several "color" experts and Nydia rivals them all. She is absolutely the best and I'm extremely picky. She knows hair! She cuts my hair also and does a great job. Everyone always comments on my hair. I do not know what I would do without Nydia. There is just no one like her. I searched and searched for the right person to give my graying hair - color correction and a natural look. After making an appointment with "another stylist", I got there only to find out that she had closed up shop and did not notify me. Nydia opened her door and asked if she could help me ...then she worked me in for a free consultation (this lady is not only smart but a real sweetheart) After looking at my skin tone and talking to me she told me what she recommended and now I am back home from my first appt. with Nydia. In one hour she gave me exactly what I needed to cover my gray and add beautiful, natural highlights. You can't go wrong with Nydia!!!!

A friend and I were looking online to see if we could find a new stylist to go to. We found the reviews for Nydia at Textures to be outstanding so we decided to give it a try, I went first.
I LOVE Nydia!! She has been extremely flexible with my schedule and does an amazing job. I have thick curly hair and have had my share of bad haircuts. Nydia listens to what you want, offers suggestions, and continues to LISTEN. Very important. She then does a fabulous job with a great "curly" hair cut and I love my latest color! I highly recommend Nydia if you are looking for someone that will listen and not make you break the bank for a fantastic hair experience.

I have been going to Erica for about 6 years. She's so professional but also very "trendy". I love her cuts and colors and have referred many of my friends to her. I have followed her from Mitchell's to her now current Textures Salon. It's a relaxing atmosphere and I'm always happy with the service. I'll follow her anywhere!

I recently moved to the area and had a job interview in a few days so I decided to save a couple bucks and color my hair myself----mistake!! One of my neighbors told me about Erica, I totally trusted my neighbor because her hair looked awesome--color and cut!! So, I called Erica and she got me in right away because she had a cancellation (thank you to whomever cancelled). What can I say, Erica worked magic. I walked out of her studio ready for my interview!

I finally took advise from my coworkers that have been clients of Brittany's for years. Being biracial I have a difficult hair texture that most stylist have trouble working with. Brittany took time to look at what would compliment my face shape and be easy for me to style. She even talked about prices and maintaining my new look before she started. And I have to mention her scalp massage is OUT OF THIS WORLD. When I left I felt beautiful and more confident. I highly recommend Brittany Goodman to all my family,friends and everyone who ask.

Nydia is outstanding. I have been going to her for about 8 months (I get my hair highlighted/low lighted/colored or some combination of along with cut every 8-10 weeks) and I am so very, very happy EVERY single time I go to see her. She is so incredibly talented and knows what to do with your hair to make you look your best. I want to look classy but chic and she achieves the look every single time. I moved to NC last year and went to several other "high-end" (aka enormously expensive) salons with poor results. I am so very thankful that I found Nydia.

Nydia Torres of Textures Hair Salon is FANTASTIC!! She has the most talented "scissor-hands" in Cary. I was referred to her several months ago by a very close friend. Nydia looked at me for a long time then said "you have been fighting short hair too long". She was right!!!! She cut my hair in the cutest short style I've ever had and received compliments on. She colored a halo into my crown and I feel like I stand out from everyone else with my fabulous color. Nydia is my stylist...................she should be yours also!

When I came to Nydia, my hair was dry and unhealthy from hairstylists not knowing what they are doing. Now that Nydia has worked her magic, my hair is healthy, shinning and I have the best cut ever. She has loads of training in color and cut and constantly goes to training seminars to learn the latest in the business. She truly performed a miracle with my hair. I get loads of compliments and have referred people to her. They're happy also. I don't know what I'd do without her. She is a true professional.

Brittany Goodman at textures hair salon is AWESOME! I have been going to her for almost five years now and would not trust anyone else with my hair! Brittany is truly a talented stylist, she's got what a lot of other stylist don't! She knows what looks good on everyone and leaves me feeling great about myself with my new hair color/cut. I recently got my hair colored at a salon in Raleigh and they messed it up very badly. I decided to go to Textures Hair Salon to get a color correction because some co-workers said it was a great salon and also had some very good stylists. When i was there, Brittany Goodman not only fixed my hair color, but worked with me to give me exactly what I wanted in the first place. Brittany is the only hairstylist I trust with my hair and i wouldn't go anywhere else!!!

Textures has 4 new stylist that have moved from Hair Colorxperts in Cary to there very own salons also in Cary. Vickie Armstrong, Nydia Torres, Brittany Goodman and Stacie Bauer specialized in color and cut and are willing to take walk in appointments. They are located right in Carpenter Village. Check they're new studios you can get a great cut and color with a relaxing atmosphere.
