The red sauce (marina sauce) is to die for. They even sell it now in jars. The food here is so delicious and I love the atmosphere. So happy this place came to Baton Rouge. The food is so good and they also have yummy desserts and appetizers also.

The perfect atmosphere for a nice date or a night out with friends. Very friendly hosts, bartenders, and servers. Small, but cozy, beautiful artwork, fun lighting, and quiet relaxing environment. For starters the bread and "sweet" sauce are amazing, and will keep you asking for more. A wide selection of appetizers to pick from, but my recommendation would be the fried ravioli. Lots of good italian dishes, most coming with Monjuni's yummy sauce. The chicken parmesan and the baked ravioli are good. If you like your spaghetti to be sweet... you'll be hooked on this sauce. Dont' bother with the Alfredo though; it's not the best and you'll be missing out by not trying the red sauce. Not too pricey, but big portions- so chances are you'll have enough to eat the next day. There's now a new location on Highland in addition to the Jefferson one.
