The bed I bought from this company is garbage and hurt our back due to manufacture fault. Then we are told to claim the warranty. The customer service asked us to follow several rules. 2 weeks later they sent a certified inspector. finally we were told that we can get the credit only if we buy a new bed in any MD store within a month

When we went to the store the sales were rude when they knew we have a credit. It seems that we take advantage of something. They does not feel sorry that they sell such a damn bed to us at all. So we have to go to anther MD store and buy it. but the credit got void when the money is paid and the bed is about to delivered. The delivery guy come over with a cold face and said nothing but your credit is void. He has to go.

We have to call customer service again. The whole process takes from Thanksgiving to Christmas. The answer I got is that the day the inspector come is different from the delivery day, so something might happen to the bed that they do not know. Neither do I. Whatever I say I did nothing to the bed, they won't accept it and let me know, another delivery guy will do the same thing. Then why MD does not let us know that the certified inspector has nothing to do with the case. His words is nonsense. The delivery guy has the final say; Or they at least should let me know that we have to buy the bed the day the inspector come. We still have not got the bed yet, neither do we get the money we pay for the new bed :((

This is the worst store I have been in USA...Mattress over there not worth of single penny and the sales person is not even worth of anything. Even single star is not worth of store.

Do not buy a mattress from here! They sell used mattresses as new!!
We purchased a king tempurpedic mattress at the Stevens Creek location and exchanged it for a cal king only to receive a used mattress.
We know it is used because it is much softer than the king mattress was.
They are not willing to rectify the problem which leads me to believe that their level of customer service is non-existant!

My experience with this place was outright terrible. The sales people would lie you in your face, deny all responsibility for their own errrors, and then will blame you for their own incompetence.

During the purchase, the salesman (Bob Bonab) promised that the delivery crew will call me one hour ahead of time, so that I won't have to spend numerous hours waiting at home. One day before the scheduled delivery I called the shop again, this time talking to Lisa-Mary. She again confirmed that the delivery team will call well in advance before they actually arrive.

On the scheduled delivery day, I got a voice message (!) from the delivery driver, telling me they visited my home, didn't find me there and moved on. I called the delivery center as well as the Matress Discounters branch on Stevens Creek, and then my nightmare began. Lisa-Mary denied the mere possibility of calling me ahead of time, and blamed me and me alone on missing the delivery. She was very aggressive, and only suggested they will delivery the mattress on SOME other day. They couldn't care less that I would have to sleep on the floor until then ...

I requested to speak to the manager (Sergio), but of course she said he is on vacation (ever managed to easily get to speak to the manager of a bad customer service representative ?). Another representative took over, and said no less that I MUST HAVE TAKEN A DAY OFF TO ALLOW FOR MATRESS DELIVERY !!! "A day off" I asked in complete disbelief ??? He again confirmed that mattress delivery and set up are extremely complicated and take very long time. He also blamed me for interfering with the "smooth" work schedule of the delivery crew, who is serving other customers in addition to myself. I tried to argue with him, but to no avail. As we continued to talk, he become more and more aggressive and rude. When I asked for his name, he simply hung up on me.

So here I am, my mattress was not delivered as scheduled, even though I heavily relied on it being delivered today. Matress Discounters couldn't care less if I have to sleep on the floor. They also couldn't care less about breaking a signed contract, nor would they let you talk to any manager higher up.

Of course, I'll cancel my purchase. Later during the day I discussed my terrible experience with some friends of mine, who confirmed they have heard similar horror stories of this particular place. If I only had consulted them before :( However, I decided to write this review to warn other unsuspecting mattress buyers of this terrible place. Buyer beware !
