What was once great has turned sour, or should I say downright nasty.

More than a year ago, Parks (ProStar) was selected to provide "break room service" for our employees and patients using the K-cup system. The idea was to provide convenient choices of the size but type of beverage you'd like and Parks offered a nice variety of different brands of coffees and teas. Gone are the days of over-cooked pots of burned and bitter coffee - or so we thought.

Recently, Parks & Coffee decided to stop carrying certain coffee brands, forcing customers to purchase their private brand that they tout as being roasted daily. Their burned and bitter flavor profile implies they are roasting same beans over and over. Perhaps they have added chicory which might explain the highly acidic bite but it makes wonder if that's what lye would taste like. We were told their brand was comparable to Green Mountain, a popular brand formerly sold and that Green Mountain has gone up in price. We were told the Parks brand was less expensive but in reality, it works out to be $.05 higher per cup. Parks packages 18 count boxes vs 24 count of Green Mountain.

Deliveries are incomplete and simple staple products such as stirrers, creamer, Splenda, Equal, sugar, etc. are often overlooked. It just seems Parks has chosen to go a different direction and before long, I fear they will lose customers. I hope they will be more forward thinking and provide what people want not what they want people to buy. Find a different way to incorporate or establish their brand instead of cramming it down people's throat. Buyer beware! Parks & Coffee is NOT what it used to be.

Here's the list: The pricing ($2 higher per box of pods over competitor, $1 more for creamer), The Accounting Department (they never told us for 6 months we had an outstanding bill and then just cut off service without sending the bill despite $3200 in continued business since then) and the Sales Rep (who kept restocking orders over $200 every two weeks despite my repeated requests that I had to maintain a budget.) All this was too much so I shopped around and found a new company with new products and better service!

Best Coffee Service for our business yet! Absolute best customer service I have ever had. Their prices are competetive and I recommend them highly if you are searching for a good coffee vending service for you business.
