I will admit, I was skeptical. We were connected with Burleson Services through our home warranty with American Home Shield when our AC compressor failed in the middle of the Florida summer. I can honestly say that I am extremely pleased with Burleson Services, and especially the technician that came to our home, Ken. It is very rare to find someone in the service industry that actually cares about the customer. Ken was very knowledgeable, stayed way after hours to finish the job, and even came back by to check in on Saturday on his way home from work. He was very understanding and patient, taking as much time as needed to ensure that the job was completed and we were happy and cool! My overall experience with Burleson was good, and having Ken come to our home to complete the work pushed the experience to excellent!

Horrific experience. Completely unreliable and irresponsible. Incompetent, leave you on the phone for half an hour and don't return your calls office staff rude and totally useless. We are still without air conditioning almost 4 weeks

To whom it may concern;
I am praying that this contractor practicing unethical business will be stopped! This Company Burleson Services, Inc. which currently is renting a building on 118 N. 14th Street has vehicles that have been operating all over Florida (from Melbourne to Jacksonville) with expired tags since June 2013. They have at least five vehicles that I know of currently. The man who owns this company is knowingly writing bad checks all over town. He owes money to a gas station around the corner, Amscot (for bounced payroll checks) and supply houses. He has a long track record of firing employees and refusing to pay them their last paycheck. This does not include the dealerships that are looking for him and have reposed two trucks in the last month. The company is registered at a different address than where it resides currently. I have met former landlords who say this company owes them money for past rent. He owes back taxes to the IRS as well. How is it that a man that owns a business in our community is able to do our citizens so wrong and get away with it? And to make matters worse I know of at least 20 jobs he has done HVAC work on without a permit.
All I am asking for is some Justice please! This man is nothing more than a monster to society and he needs to be stopped. The business phone number is 866-344-4156

Do not use this company. I had a very similar experience to AmyLB. They delayed and delayed my job to the point of humiliation and when they finally completed the job, they messed it up!

They say they will call you back and they never do! My job was delayed by 4 weeks.

Do NOT call them- you will regret if for sure!

This company is absolutely the worst. I honestly don't know how they stay in business. I called AHS because the air had stopped running in the house where I have tenants. The original call was placed 4/1. Burleson came out on 4/6 and determined that the compressor was dead. A new one was ordered on 4/8. Had I not followed up on the 15th, I would not have known it had arrived to schedule the appointment for installation. Installation was scheduled for 4/19. My tenant waited at the house for the appt. scheduled between 1 and 8 only to be told at 4:30 that the wrong part had been ordered. They, allegedly, ordered the correct part and it was on its way from Orlando (a 2-hour drive from Jacksonville.) I called several times that week and wasn't told until Thursday (4/22) that it was scheduled to arrive on the 24th. I called Saturday and they could not tell me if it was in because the parts dept was closed. I called this morning (4/26) and they were going to call me back because the parts dept was on the phone. Of course, there was no return call so I followed-up with AHS. They called Burleseon and were told the compressor was in Jacksonville waiting for them to pick it up. At 5:00 I called AHS again only to be told that the part was in route and scheduled to arrive on Wednesday (4/28). Okay, who is lying? Anyway, with tenants who have been without A/C for nearly a month (did I mention we live in FLORIDA) and are ready to move out, I told AHS that I would handle it myself and send them the bill.

I would never, ever, ever recommend Burleson to ANYONE. The only other experience I had with them was when they replaced the air handler in that house. All was fine until I had a REPUTABLE company do the semi-annual service only to be told that Burleson had installed the unit without heat strips. Luckily, I caught this before the coldest winter in decades set in or the unit would have been fried.

Kudos to the two of you who had good experiences. I know my review is at least the 14th negative experience to be posted. To anyone considering Burleson (and AHS for that matter) 2 of 16 is not a good ratio. Odds are you too will go through some sort of hell in dealing with these idiots.

I have to admit the guys who come out have been nice enough, but they have come out repeatedly, charging me over and over again before figuring out the problem and fixing it. The office staff, one woman in particular, is rude and should not be working in customer service.

I, too, am going through American Home Shield and have complained repeatedly about Burleson. They installed my inside air handler without a permit, but didn't connect it properly, which lead to problems later on with my emergency heat during winter when my heat pump went out. Currently, they are trying to overcharge me an exorbitant amount for non-covered parts to replace my heat pump outside. I am in the process of cashing out this issue with AHS just so that this company NEVER sets foot on my property again.

Word of advice, be an informed consumer before using Burleson Services!!

And yes, the person who says a good customer gets good customer service has never dealt with this company. Or...it's Laura, the Queen of Bad Customer Service at Burleson Services.

They gave me a window of 8-10 and the technician showed up at my house at 8:05. He was very knowledgeable. They did have to order me a new compressor and that did take a few days, but that was because the warrnaty company had to order it. It was no fault on the company at all.
I guess if you are a good customer you will get good customer service! I recommend this company to everyone!!!

Burleson Services was assigned to me by American Home Shield for a water pan problem with my AC unit. They never called me to set up an appointment and when I called them, they told me the person that handles accounts in my area is currently on the telephone and will return my call. They never called. I tried to contact them after 5 PM and apparently they disconect the phones because the line is silent and disconnects after 1 or 2 seconds.

It is hard to believe that a company like this can stay in business for long. If American Home Shield assigns Burleson Services to you, do yourself a favor and say "No Thanks" and request a reputable firm. I recommended to American Home Shield that they stop using them as a contractor. I wasted 48 hours because I gave them the benefit of dought.

I set up service on Wednesday with American Home Shield and call was supposedly dispatched to Burleson Services. I called at 9am Thursday after not hearing from them. Some said they would check on the service and call me back. I called them 8 times on Thursday and was told several times they would call me back. THEY NEVER CALLED BACK OR FOLLOWED UP. I was put on hold in excess of 15 minutes. I was hung up on. None of the people I spoke with Laura, Marie, Kathleen (and Connie in the background) seems to give a damn about their customers. I never received an answer. AHS finally sent the call to another company Thursday night after hours so now it will be next week before I am able to get a service company for our AC when the high temperatures are running in the upper 80's to mid 90's. DO NOT BOTHER CALLING THIS COMPANY - it won't do you any good anyway.
