My husband has taken me here on many a special occassion. Top of the Market serves some of the freshest seafood in San Diego. Wonderful smoked fish starter. My favorite are the shell fish specials, and my husband loves the smoked clams. Fabulous views of the San Diego bay make every experience at Top of the Market a romantic one.

This place has real fresh fish. Great sushi too. Especially if you want a variety of different kinds and an authentic Japanese style setting. The upstairs is a good place if you want a romantic date and it has a great view.

Downstairs, the busy fish market serves basic seafood dishes and is on sea level. Upstairs, the quieter, more romantic Top of the Market offers more creative dishes using fresh seafood as well as a scenic view of the San Diego Harbor. The food is better than average and you can still get the fresh oysters, mussels, and clams from downstairs!
