Free chapel helps my family to know God. For people looking for a place to worship and hear the word of God, this is the place. Please do not let all the negative remarks to stop you in going to Free Chapel. This church helps so many people to know God. We need more church like Free Chapel and more pastor like Pastor Jentezen.

I have attended Free chapel for two years now. My daughters love going and they have gotten closer to God. Though at times I too feel like the church is run like a business, I dont go there to focus on anything but the things of the Lord. If I did focus on how others put on their fake faces and personalities, I would never go to any church. There are people that are at different spiritual levels. So, you just have to do what Jesus would do.....love them. And just keep on loving others in hopes that you are being used as an empty vessel to bring others to God. After all, what have hateful words ever gotten us? Remember, God is checking out how YOU are representing Him.

Let me tell you my story...

Someone very very close to me was influenced to go to this church by a friend of his. In a matter of 24 hours, my friend had completely changed; not for the better. This place seemed to have washed out his personality and gave him absolutely nothing to work towards.

After the drastic change, he asked me to go with him. Being the open minded person that I am, I went. We attended the Thursday night college worship service. I have been raised in a church that is very formal and traditional. I was excited to attend a church that was "new" and "modern". As soon as we got there I felt uncomfortable. People started swaying and falling on the ground crying during the service. Now, as a Christian, I know not to judge others. If that is how you worship, please, go right ahead.

The thing that bothered me was that I was glared at by every member there for not following suite. During one part of the service, we were asked to pray out loud while the church leaders came around. I started praying and next thing I know, someone from the church has their hands on my head and is speaking in tongues over me. Again, if that is how you worship, that's fine. HOWEVER...when this girl switched back to English, she was saying that I was not filled with The Spirit enough and to grant me the strength to raise my hands. This didn't seem right to me.

After the beginning worship, we sat down for the sermon. During this, the pastor claimed that we did not have enough time to read the scripture that the sermon was based on. This church claims to teach the word...so if that's true...why did he skip over it? He also bashed traditional churches which struck a chord with me since that is how I was raised. I have seen more love for God in my traditional church than this showy one.

Lastly, after the service ended, we went to the rec room to play ping pong and get to know others. Instantly I was swarmed by people. Normally this wouldn't bother me except for the fact that these members were harassing me for my phone number, e-mail address, and street address. After leaving Free Chapel, I got at least two phone calls a day, text messages, e-mails, and letters sent to me constantly.

As for my friend, he quit school, quit talking to his friends, and moved away from his family. He now lives in a different state with another member of this church. They attend a new church where the old pastor moved to. It pains me so much because he used to be so funny, full of life, and he LOVED God. Now, it seems that he loves his church, not God. If you know someone who this has happened to, I am so very very sorry.

We moved here and today was our first time going. Don't read to deep into the negative reviews. If you have kids get there 45 minutes early if its your first time, because you have to register them . I did see the police with their guns in the holster as another review was upset at this. I personally loved it! A church that size could be a target for someone so thank you Jentezen for the protection.A church that size you can"t get upset at parking and it taking long to leave. We went to the 9am service so parking was really easy ,leaving took about 20 minutes. Its to be expected with a church of that size . The staff was all smiles and very helpful. I was impressed with the fact that today there was a teen conference and alot of teens were lined up outside to welcome everyone and this young guy with 2 different color shoes on walked over to us and asked if it was our 1st time there? He had the biggest smile and was very upbeat and left all the other teens to take my family and I to the kidspack center.Wow! The man at the Kidspak desk with the hurt arm helped us and he was so kind and helpful. The Kidspack center is fantastic! I have 3 kids and they were all excited when they saw those exciting rooms. In fact I wanted to stay and have some fun. Getting there early is a must for a seat. After registering the kids we entered the sanctuary just before it started and ended up with out a seat. They do have an overflow room in the cafe you can go to, but there was no way I was going to leave that room. I have read almost all his books and watch Freedom Chapel every week on tv. I was finally there and if I had to stand, so be it. The music was very modern and very very loud. Yes it was like being at a concert, but everyone was loving it and praising God and I can get use to it. The 3 groups that sang today though they were loud they all sounded great and were having a blast.Yes,having a blast at church! Nothing boring here! The funniest thing happened as I was in awe and taking this all in with mixed emotions, a lady came up to me and said they had to go and offered her 2 seats to us! Thank God ! Ok, Pastor Franklin came out. What a thankful man. He thanked his staff and volunteers for help during this youth conference they have been doing. He even brought up a teen group that had traveled from very far to be there and thanked a women in a wheelchair that traveled by herself on a bus for 12 hours to be there. My point is that some reviews were saying he is full of ego etc. He didnt have to thank anyone and he did.I have been to small churches that the staff gets a backroom thank you. His message was alot of info in a short amount of time and it is so powerful that it really sticks with you. You go Pastor Jentezen Franklin.Went to pick up my kids which all you parents know the kids responses is the deal breaker.Ha lol! They all loved it! My oldest is already begging to go this Wed. to something called Blend. They loved it all.The only thing my youngest 2 didnt like was the music was very very loud in Kidpack, but they all want to come back! So , if you are ready for a change Freedom Chapel is the way to go. You need to go knowing you need to get there early, the music is very modern and good but very loud and leaving takes about 2o minutes. Is it worth going? Yes! Yes! Yes! I am so blessed to live close and will take advantage of what God is blessing ! Maybe one day I will get to meet Pastor Franklin and I hope soon someone can tell me what he likes to be called !

Free Chapel is amazing. My husband and I moved to the south and knew that God would lead us to a church that would teach us the truth. We walked into Free Chapel and felt beyond welcomed and loved. The worship is amazing, but most importantly Pastor Franklin teaches the word of God in a way that is convicting and loving. I couldn't be more grateful for such a great church. There is NO perfect church because churches are made up of imperfect people. The time we spend critizing a group of people/church we should spend in praying and lifting them up. We are all one body in Christ and I pray that we learn to love eachother like Christ loves us.

I am not one for writing reviews especially about a church but after reading Missy C, Jim R, Robert M and Elizabeth's feelings about Free Chapel, I had to chime in. I moved to No. Ga. about 12 years ago and like most everyone, I looked for a good church. After a year and 15 churches later, we found Free Chapel. It is about a 45 minute ride but completely worth every mile. There is nothing worse than sitting in a church where no one seems to be excited about Jesus. Worse than that, spending an hour and walking out asking yourself, "what did that minister say?" You can think what you will but I would probably be right in assuming that you probably, for once in your life, were preached to with truth and you really couldn't handle it. As far as the traffic, I don't hear anyone writing comments about never going to a Braves game or a Georgia game cause the traffic was to bad. If your going to church for the real reason and that is to get fed, then this church is for you, if your going to church
because just to say you went, then you probably need to attend the "the first church of the sleeping pew" This church is more community minded, scripture based, caring, family building than any I have ever attended. I don't go to agree with everything I see, I go to get fed and thats what I get.

FC is an AMAZING CHURCH!

I have not been attending for long. I grew up in a small church where I knew everyone and was comfortable.
~There comes a time when COMFORTABLE is not enough.
What people have to realize it that NO CHURCH IS PERFECT.
You are always going to have things that you don??t agree with no matter where you are. The Bible says DO NOT TOUCH GOD'S ANNOINTED... Anyone that has the Holy Ghost or... Jesus inside them will know this is an ANNOINTED and HIGHLY FAVORED Church and Pastor... If this is not the place for you... well God Bless You and I hope you find somewhere that blesses you as much as Free Chapel does me!
Don??t bash anyone??s church! Don??t bash a place that has had THOUSANDS saved... a place people go and WORSHIP THE LORD!!! Maybe they don??t worship the same as you but we all serve the SAME GOD!!!
I LOVE FREE CHAPEL! I thank GOD for the PASTOR & STAFF!!!

Free Chapel? Whats free? I just wonder how much money is spent on the show and how much is spent on the hungry and the homeless. i believe God would have us help the needy rather than throwing a concert and light show? Shame Shame

Incredible church. Power-packed messages. I've gotten to know the pastor ---a bit---what a genuine man.
I looked over some of the reviews here and was amazed at the negative mis-information. If you want to play games with God---this is not the church for you...
But if you are looking to see the next-move in the church---this is a great church. I've met many, many christian leaders in the last 25 years---Jentezen Franklin is a committed leader who loves the people in his church. Check it out! It's worth attending...

First of all, the people that are talking bad about my church I WILL PRAY FOR YOU! I am 28 years old. I have never felt so welcome and at home at FREE CHAPEL. There has never been a preacher to hit home to me on every sermon like Pastor Jentzen Franklin does. My GOD brought me to salvation but he used Pastor Jentzen Franklin to do it! I have since moved out of state since attending FREE CHAPEL getting saved and being baptized. However I havnt found another church to make me feel at home so I am moving back to Georgia just so I can be closer to the church. I would suggest anyone wanting to go to church they should go to FREE CHAPEL!

I was looking for a church home and I decided to give FC Irvine a try. The first thing I saw upon entering the doors were off duty police walking around with visible guns in their holsters which gave me cause for alarm so I spoke while passing and they never cracked a smile. I felt like I was in a court building or something. I never got used to that and it set the wrong tone for worship. After a few weeks the music and thearter smoke and lights and rock concert atmosphere began to wear on me and I stopped going for a few months. Eventually I visited again but arrived 20 minutes late to avoid the music and light show only to find weekly gimmicks and productions like red carpets and movie star cutouts and a limo parked in front of the church along with velvet ropes and fake paparazzi and popcorn giveaways instead of real solid teaching from the pastor. So once again I found myself hungry for something true and real. I thought maybe I was not opening myself up to things and maybe I should apply myself and get involved rather then looking at things from the outside so I joined a ministry and got to know things from the inside...And it confirmed EVERYTHING my spirit told me from the beginning. The staff was rude from the parking attendants to the ushers to the "powers that be" from the top to the bottom. This place is run like a business not a church. There is no feeling of unity through the power of Jesus Christ there. No real prayer or allowing to be led by the Holy Spirit. It's all man made design...Empty. It's about Money, power and people fighting for position and the like...And did I mention money? If being entertained is what you are looking for then this is the place for you.

Go to Free Chapel looking to be loved see what happens.
Go to Free Chapel and see if they nourish you.
Go to Free Chapel and look into the book.
Ask them who their board members are, see if they tell you.
Ask them questions more about the church see what happens...
Don't just go to a church find out what it is you are attending
Dont just look on the outside dig in and find out what the church really stands for.

Free Chapel is a powerfully anointed ministry.

I have been attending the Orange County, California campus for over 3 years, and I have spiritually grown more {in those 3+ years} than I had grown in the previous 3 years. Praise the Lord for His leading and for the pastors at Free Chapel O.C. ....and for their integrity.

P.S. Why is Saddleback Church's San Clemente church shown at the top of this page for Free Chapel? This other church is not connected {or associated} with Free Chapel.........Just curious.

There's a sucker Born-Again every minute.

This mega-church creates a traffic nightmare for local residents. They offer lots of services, but to enjoy them, you must tithe. I say, save your money and join the fasting-growing movement in America.... the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster! Who needs "angels" in heaven -- we have a Beer Volcano! And Strippers too!

I had an excellent experience when I attended Free Chapel Worship Center. Although it is big, its like they thought of everything and everyone was extremely helpful from the time I entered the parking lot until the time I left. My children enjoyed the kids ministry and I felt like the volunteers were caring. As for Pastor Franklin, he preached a great service! I recommend everyone to go to this Church and at least see what they are all about. I only wish they had a Sunday night Service in Gainesville, Georgia, I am sure they have another Pastor on staff that could preach since Pastor Franklin goes to the west coast.

I only wish they had a Sunday night Service in Gainesville, Georgia, I am sure they have another Pastor on staff that could preach since Pastor Franklin goes to the west coast.

I've been watching Free Chapel services over the Web and on TV for a while; I'm considering moving to Georgia from the West Coast and I'm seriously considering Free Chapel as a possibility. I saw someone commenting about ungodly music be played by musical guests at a service, and I believe I saw a picture of an Elvis impersonator in some church event announcement. Can anyone share with me what Free Chapel teaches regarding singers of the past (Elvis) and present day secular music. I'm not trying to start a debate or get personal opinions, as I'm not trying to figure out where I stand on the issue, I'm only trying to understand where Free Chapel stands so that I can incorporate that info into my decision process. If you'd rather not comment here for fear of starting a heated debate you can drop me an anonymous comment at http://www.christianowned.com/blog/?page_id=2
Also, I'd like to get some feedback (positive or negative) on the race relations for Gainesville, Georgia and outlying areas. I grew up in Northern California in a fairly racially diverse community with good race relations; I'm not sure what to expect in Northern Georgia when a minority gets away from the church members into outlying communities in Gainesville. Thanks for all comments shared.

My family and I attended there over the summer during our vacation and found this to be the friendliest church we have ever been to. Everyone welcomed us. The gentleman in the parking lot that drives the golf cart found us in about 60 seconds after we arrived and graciously offered us a ride to the building, being that we have 3 young children it was a lovely gesture to say the least. Then as we stepped inside the building we noticed that our infant son's shoe had fallen off so we decided that after we checked in the children downstairs we would retrieve it from the parking lot (which would be a massive search). Upon our arriving downstairs another gentleman approached us and noticed my son only having one shoe on and said he had been looking for someone with a missing shoe...I have no idea how this man found that shoe and came downstairs so fast with it but it was so kind of him to have waited on someone with a missing shoe. The entire experience was such a blessing and all of my children enjoyed the children services. Thank you Free Chapel for being a welcoming church that went above and beyond in making us feel welcomed. We also found the message and worship to be refreshing and enjoyable. The choir and music leaders really have a way in making everyone feel included. The guest speaker on that day had a message that was showing and encouraging God's love. We absolutely loved our entire visit.

actually i would like to go if they had a later sunday time or sat afternoon service as i work late, but i'm grateful for their kingdom connection on television. i do like the passion the pastor displays and his acknowledgement that people in his church aren't perfect nor are pastors.

Some people are always looking for the "bad" or "evil" in everything.... This is sooo sad..... Aren't we here to "LOVE one another?" and BUILD the body of Christ? Not tear down? = ( I have attended Free Chapel for 17 years and everytime I leave I know I have been in God's presence... Pastor Franklin has a heart for people...he teaches SOUND doctrine and he LOVES God..He teaches us to follow JESUS not ANY man..He is human, not perfect...WHO is? Show me a PERFECT Pastor and I will show you JESUS CHRIST = )

Today, the New Age Movement and other elements of the New World Order have infiltrated the Bible-believing churches and are posing as Christian ministries. According to New Age author, Jeremy Rifkin, their expressed goal is to use the Evangelical Church as the primary instrument to bring the New World Order with its One World Religion to birth. As a result of this conspiracy, many sincere Christians are being led into deception by the abundance of false teachers and prophets on the Christian scene and organizations that have the appearance of doing good works, but are apostate in their doctrine and practice.

The reader may naively assume that the majority of professedly Christian leaders could not possibly be false teachers and false prophets because they are so widely accepted. For a more Scriptural perspective on this matter, we recommend reading ??The Preacher As A False Prophet? by Rev. James Stalker, who stated concerning Israel:

??The false prophets were strong, not only in their own numbers, but in their popularity with the people. This told heavily against the true prophets; for the people could not believe that the one man, who was standing alone, was right, and that his opponents, who were many, were wrong. The seats and the trappings of office always affect the multitude, who are slow to come to the conclusion that the teachers under whom they find themselves in providence can be misleading them... If they are going wrong, they will generally get the majority of the people to follow them. So completely may this be the case, that by degrees the popular taste is vitiated and will not endure any other teaching than that to which it has been accustomed, though it be false. There is no sadder verse in all prophecy than the complaint of Jeremiah, ??The prophets prophesy falsely, and My people love to have it so.?? Like prophet, like people; the public mind may be so habituated to what is false, and satisfied with it, that it has no taste or even tolerance for the true. Jeremiah could not gain a hearing for his stern and weighty message from ears accustomed to the light and frivolous views of the false prophets; and to Baruch, his young coadjutor and amanuensis, who was starting on the prophetic career with the high hopes of youth, he had to deliver the chilling message, ??Seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them not.?? The path to popularity and eminence was not open to anyone who did not speak according to the prevailing fashion.?

My own view of Jentezen Franklin. He does not warn or expose witchcraft, the New World Order, false prophets, and lastly but most importantly: Jentezen Franklin does not have the power of God to heal or to renew. He is a good storyteller, though and knows how to manipulate people through his tears and good stories. He is a FIERCE BUSINESSMAN, first and foremost and he will be the first to say so.

After reading the reviews from others I realize the church is what it is suppose to be "A hospital for lost and hurt people saved by Grace" if you feel convicted when you leave there, he did his job.
The pastor as any other pastor is not perfect and doesn't have the energy to pat you on the back every time he sees you. Its not about you its about the whole body of Christ. The worship service is great. I visit there every time I'm in town. If your ever in Lou KY make sure to visit Southeast Christian Church...you'll love that service also!!

My husband and I attended Free Chapel years ago. My husband joined the choir and was immediately told that he could not join unless he tithed. This was a huge turn off for both of us.
Jentezen Franklin does not mince words when it comes to the dollar bill. He is good at hiring and firing at the drop of the hat, therefore he regards the church as a business, and not the body of Christ; not really. I have met many people who have come through Free chapel and have gone back to drugs and alcohol. The experience of praise and worship is all works of EMOTIONS AND FLESH; yeah it's good music but it has absolutely nothing to do with worshipping God or waiting on HIM to see what HE wants, or how he wants the service to be orchestrated. I have heard the prosperity gospel preached there, and having said that, that's all that needs to be said. This church is a dime a dozen, and is a part of the harlot church, that knows God's love enough to do whatever the heck they "feel" like doing. Years ago when my husband and I had no money, and our car had broken down in the parking lot; they had put a note on it saying they were going to tow our car!! Then, when we went to ask for some money (seriously we were between jobs) they had my husband fill out a form and said they'd get back with us in two weeks. -Again, a business, not a godly nor holy place where you can truly have your life turned around by THE SPIRIT OF GOD. Beware people, all that glitters is not gold.
II TI 4:3------For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

I FELT horrible the way I was treated by a member of this church. They wanted to talk about their church and go on and on about love,(while I listened) but the minute I talked about my church, I WAS SHUT DOWN!! and the way it was said, was that ONLY THEIR church was the true church. And we are the same religion!! WOW!!! If this is the way their church teaches I will NEVER even bothering coming here EVER!! God is everywhere NOT just at your church!!

I have been attending FC since June of 2009. I was looking for a church & was led by God to go here. I have been blessed through this ministry & the Word that goes forth has helped me through a transition period I am going through. Prior to attending FC I saw Pastor Franklin's messages on TV. I have always enjoyed the creativity & relevancy in his msgs. I believe he is a true man of God & I am thankful to God for planting me in this ministry for this season. I will say that the size of the church is something that I still have to get used to, but the size has not kept me from growing in my faith walk. To those who have left the church, it may mean you have outgrown the church spiritually and God has use of you elsewhere. Also for those who may criticize the church, to truly experience the church you have to go more than once. Also not every church is for everybody or this may be a different season for you in your Chrisitian walk. You have to go where God leads you, not just where tradition or feelings of comfort take you. I'm not sure where the comments regarding clothing & money come from because I have seen ppl dressed up & dressed down & no one has been turned away. I also don't feel like because I'm not well off financially that I am looked down upon or not welcomed. I actually like that there are a mix of cultures & socioeconomic backgrounds evident at the church.

Hey I'm Elizabeth Wells and I would just like to say to Tim O.... I didn't point a finger at you when speaking on my opinion and experience of Free Chapel. I am very familar with North Georgia Mountains and have lived there all my life.... my family is originally from there.... Ask the opinions of the originals of what really has taken place with Free Chapel and what they think don't point your finger at any one person, after all you are not God and we are all free to our opinions...
Free Chapel may have some Godly men and women of God there, but as for me and my house we will serve the lord to what we feel is best in our hearts and we are accountable for ourselves therefore, we God where we feel the truth is being taught to its fullness. In my opinion Free Chapel has certain restrictions that limits our gifts and abilities to work in God's fullness for our lives, but each person has to go where go leads them... as we are all accountable for ourselves so don't judge our opinions, let that be between us and lets us be at our father's business.
Thank You!

I think it's sad how all these people are bad mouthing a Church who worships the same God they claim to. If you truly are a Christian then stop judging like the Bible says and stop bad mouthing a Church because you didn't have a good experience. Free Chapel may not be for you that's why God has given us many church options, so that's why you find a church you like and keep your bad comments about others to yourself. The only thing that is important is that you find a place to worship that is comftorable for you. Because salvation is the ultimate goal.

It is a wonderful church with Bible based preaching and spirit filled worship!! I visit there when Pastor Perry Stone is there because of its location from where I live. Pastor Jentzen Franklin is a on fire for God preacher and encourages everyone to be on fire, too!

Me and my family have had a wonderful experience at Free Chapel. We wished we lived closer to the church but right now that is not possible. We drive about 3 hours to get there and have to stay in a motel so that; as you well know is a lot of expense. I don't understand people who say that they have never attended or dont like the pastor or worship leader. Our family experience was electrifying. We felt God all in that place and the message was straight forward and simple enough for a child to understand. After the service Pastor Franklin stood down at the front and shook everyones hand and prayed with those who needed it. I felt such an humble spirit from him and believe me I know false people when I see them. God is using him very much and I know that because we are living in the last days the devil is doing everything that he can to try to destroy ministries like this one. Remember Jesus said they have hated him and they will hate everyone who is trying to be a light in this dark world. All I have left to say is I hope this ministry continues and gets stronger than ever. You would never feel the presence of God in a church like that if all that kind of negative stuff was going on. Please visit Free Chapel we had an awsome and life changing experience there.

Thanks for listening,

I think we focus to much on the small issues in the church and not on the real picture. You see I am a 36 year old ex-drug addict who went to church right along with most of you or at least people like you. Guess what you never knew. If you would quit trying to do the pastors job and do your job as a sheep you would help the one right beside you in service who needs Gods help the most. But for some reason we go to hear the word of God and instead of listening we judge. All I'msaying is now that God has delivered me I look back at those who would hug my neck and say I LOVE You without even caring enough tio follow up.I Did attend Pastor Franklins Church for a few years and just being honest he was the only one who acknowledged my Drug addiction through the spirit and I felt nothing but Love from him, But most of all the ove of Christ. I am currently starting a ministry for addicts and Thank God for Pastors who hear the word of God like pastor Franklin.

There are no perfect people, nor are there perfect churches, only a Perfect SAVIOR who suffered & died for you & me. I have been a Christian for 13 years & have had disappointments & hurts in both churches I have attended. One thing I realize through the word of God is that Eph 6:12 says, "For we do not wrestle against flesh & blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." You become a puppet in Satans hands when you speak negative words which bring division & death to the life of a believer. Do not allow the enemy to rob you of God's purpose & plan for your life. Pray for those who hurt you, for those you don't agree with. The Body of Christ needs to walk in Unity especially in the world we live today, so be filled with the Spirit & walk in Love & His Peace. I pray the Holy Spirit will illuminate the Word deep into your heart.
When the Holy Spirit recides within us, we become His House, His Church, His Vessel that illuminates the four walls of a building. As for Free Chapel, I am Thankful to God for my Pastor & all who faithfully serve & come to receive Jesus. We are all broken vessels (none are perfect) we all need a Savior who teaches us to to Love & walk in the Spirit of Truth.

I have been going to Free Chapel for 5 years and love the church and Pastor Franklin. There is not one person on this earth that is perfect and would make any of you flock to just one church. So with so many churches to choose from go some place else and stop bad mouthing Pastor Franklin and staff. I do agree the parking is awful

I have never attended Free Chapel nor do I have any intention of doing so, reason being the pastor. I have had encountered this person a few times, all of which were very discouraging. He does not present himself as a selfless man of God, or should I say he didn't to me. I smiled and spoke each time I passed him, without so much as a smirk or a handshake from him. The sad thing is I have met several people who have had similiar experiences, some have even attended Free Chapel. Because of my personal "experiences" with Jentezen Franklin I know I would not be able to sit in a chapel and listen to him. I am so thankful that I am in a church where the pastor walks and talks what he preaches. He is the same on the street as he is in the church. I would like to think that when a pastor or anyone who proclaims to be a Christian is amongst their fellow man, instead of showing arrogance and superiority, they will show Christian love and kindness. You never know what the person you meet may be going through and you could be that person that introduces them to or renews their faith in God. For those who have had pleasant experiences at Free Chapel, I am truly happy for you, because in the end, it is all about your relationship with the Heavenly Father. Without Him, where would we be?

My husband and I attend Free Chapel. We feel as though Pastor Franklin is an anointed man of God. I can also say they're are many who attend that put on their 'Church" faces before going in. This is sad. I wear jeans and not dress suits I do feel some look down their noses at me, but hey get over it I say. I know some on the staff are not anointed at all, they put on their ''christian faces". We thought they were reaching out to us but come to find out it was business not being a true Christian. We continue to go and love the Pastor. We don't go if he isn't there anymore though. We love the Lord and can also worship at our home and not be looked down on.

My wife and I have been a member for over 2 years. Some of the comments are trying get people to attend other churches. That is sad. All the churches should be working in unity to spread the word of Christ! Not having a competition trying to win over another churches members by cutting down another one of Gods houses. There are plenty of lost in the world you can help save. Use your energy to spread the word, not hurt it. Free Chapel is a Great Church where the Holy Spirit moves. God Bless all the churches! We love you Jesus!!!!

I was a member at Free Chapel Gainesville for 16 years. I received lots of good teaching with the Holy Spirit flowing in services and volunteered all the time I was needed since I am retired. Sometimes members have no choice but leave. I left the church about a year ago. My daughter attended Free Chapel 14 years and left also. We now worship at 12Stone Hamilton Mill. Accountability is important every where especially in the church. I notice the reviews mostly come from the newest attenders. I left because I had no other choice. I've heard it said and I used to think that if a person leaves Free Chapel it must be their problem. However I left the church after serving there faithfully for many years due to issues I experienced with the staff there. Could the problem be the church?

Go to http://www.Freechapel.org and click on the Who we are link on the upper left side of the page. Then click on the "What we believe" link. You will find that Free Chapel's beliefs are Biblically accurate.

My family and I are members of Free Chapel. It is a Biblically accurate church and I have never felt closer to God.

Folks, anytime you step out to do anything worthwhile, you will be criticized. Even by other Christians.

The best thing to do is ask God for wisdom in accordance with James 1:5. Then go with God!

I invite you to visit Free Chapel, a scripturally accurate and on fire church!

I never knew church could be so amazing and free. I grew up in the house of God, but it was very religious and never introduced me to who the true person of Jesus Christ is. Besides having an incredible word from Pastor Franklin, their worship leader, Ricardo Sanchez, is the most amazing and anointed worship I have ever experienced. I have stayed at the church for over two years because of the worship. I understand church has different meanings for different people, but I have met both Ricardo and Pastor Franklin and several other staff members and am truly amazed by their humble and genuine hearts.

Attending Free Chapel church services are always Heaven on Earth experiences. I Thank God Almighty for giving me & my entire family awesome every Sunday experiences to worship here.People are people & God is God. Here's a word of caution. Never ever criticise an anointed servant of the Lord. In Numbers 12:10, Miriam became leprous when she spoke against anointed Moses. So, if you want to stay healthy, weigh thy words before thou speak!I believe Free Chapel services are dress rehearsals before we go to heaven. This is how it's gonna be in Heaven.

Just wondering, Ethan C., how did you obtain your ordination? I can't imagine a true ordained minister who doesn't know to capitalize the word "Bible". God's word deserves the utmost respect, and to repeatedly neglect to capitalize the title of the most important book ever written is insulting to Him, and to those who love His word.

It's amazing to me that people get their feathers all ruffled by one thing in a church and get offended and leave. There have been people I've run across in FCWC that have offended me, but I also know that they are not what the church stands for. This church has been nothing but helpful to me with their loving staff. Sure Pastor Franklin can't meet everyone, but he sure tries.

To the "ordained minister" my father is a pastor and he attends FCWC after years of leading churches. Shame on you for attacking a house of God. These are your brothers and sisters. Pray before you speak. (By the way, anybody can become an ordained minister today just by signing up online.) I've been in small chruches and each time they have thrown my father to the wind and kicked him out for speaking truth.

I'm sick of people getting tied up in money, politics, and backstabbing. I attend FCWC because I can open up and worship. If you can't feel God there, I question your willingness to open your heart and mind. If you're looking for a chruch that will accept you as you are and not gossip about you because of how you look, what you wear or what kind of car you drive, then this is a great chruch.

I have visited many different churches since I move to Georgia. The first time I went to Free Chapel I knew that I have found my place of worship, and this is almost 3 years ago. Free Chapel is awesome, and for all you Christians out there, that are leaving those hateful comments you are not showing your Christianity very well. Every time I been to Free Chapel I have found love and the presence of God. So maybe this is not the kind of church that you are looking for. I wish you luck, to all of you, and I hope that you guys, can find the peace of God

Free Chapel, Irvine, CA is not to be missed! Because of my working early Sunday a.m. hours and needing to sleep at Sunday morning church time, I was looking for a Sunday evening service (not that many around any more). Talk about exceeding all my expectations! If you are looking for powerful ministry on the move that can shake a city, Free Chapel Orange County is where you find it at 6 pm every Sunday night. I have attended since October and am now a member. What a blessing for the OC!

I am not a member of Free Chapel nor am I from a Pentecostal or a "charismatic" background. I have visited this church about 10 times over the past 2 years and I also watch Jentzen on TV from time to time. What an inspiring worship experience and he is an incredible speaker. What I appreciate most however is the annual 21-day fast that the church does each January. My life was truly blessed from participating last year in the 21-day fast, and I can't wait to see what God will do with the fast this year in my life. I have read the negative comments left on this blog by other reviewers- these people are probably the same people who will always complain about everything else in life. I say that if you don't like the church, then just go somewhere else. I believe that the church has been a real blessing to many people.

I have been a Christian for 28 years and I am an ordained minister. The reason we know about Jesus and Christianity is because of the bible. I have attended Free Chapel. It is a "charismatic" church and those churches always have a lot of people who discern things with feelings rather than with scripture. You hear words like "want, feel, know, need, believe, sense, felt lead, heard". Satan uses the senses to deceive.Tribes in Africa play music and go into trances and "feel the spirit".1 Timothy, 1 Thessalonians, tells us to be content, thankful and live a quiet life. It is not God's will for everyone to drive a luxury car and be healed from every sickness, if it was, it would be. The bible tells us that "pride comes before the fall". Jesus teaches humility, service, sacrifice and faith. There are a lot of things that do not appear to line up with scripture going on at Free Chapel, and yet there are probably some people serving each other. A pastor is a Shepherd and a Shepherd goes after one of his sheep that jumps the fence. There is no way that Jentzen can know a fraction of the sheep. He is not a Shepherd. He is a showman and America loves entertainment. Only God really knows if Free Chapel and the likes do more harm than good. Read a bible, study Jesus, and ask yourself if that place will encourage you to be more like Jesus and if that is a place where you can encourage others to be more like Jesus that is what the bible says church is for (Hebrews 10:25).
